ballabriggs: You see the situation in Kenya now is that not up to 100 people have been killed. In one week in Nigeria, we have lost close to 200 people.Point of correction: The Kenyan president did not anull his visit to the UN general assembly because of the attack on Nairobi. He annulled the visit before that attack precisely because his vice president is currently in the Hague at the International Criminal Court facing trials concerning crimes against humanity emanating from the Kenyan former post election violence where many people died. The president said he couldn't leave the country while his vice is also out of the country. The president is also billed to go and face the same charges by November. The statement released by the Nigerian presidency is just the normal diplomatic statement that most friendly countries make when such attacks happen in a fellow friendly nation. There is no need to read much meaning into it. Although on the face level it looks rather quite ironical. While not holding brief for president GEJ, if he is to be releasing statements everytime Boko Haram kills people in one village or the other, it will become annoying. The fight against Boko Haram is an ongoing battle. So casualties are bound to surface on a regular bases. But the Kenyan attack is a one off attack on the Kenyan Capital, touching many nationalities from Al Shabab based in Somalia (another country), that is why its getting more news coverage from all over the world like the Boko Haram attack on the United Nations Building in Abuja sometime back. Another point of correction is that GEJ did not travel to the United Nations with 600 people. Its only useless websites like saharareporters can report such crap. But even before the refutal from Reuben Abati most discerning Nigerians already knew that it was a blatant lie. Another fact is that Nigeria is a Big Brother in Africa. Whether we have our internal problems or not, we shall never allow it to stop us from flexing our muscles to show that indeed we are the big brothers (example is the Malian crisis where we sent our troops to help in stabilizing Mali inspite of the fact that we are still fighting Boko Haram). As a big Nation we can multi-task while still taking care of our internal wahalas. Ask the Americans the price they pay to be the global super power. |
bosun11: So intercourse onn which particular days produce male and female..can u differentiate and b more elabor8 4rm ur experience..wuld really love to know..thanksMy Dear, the below is what someone wrote before I replied him with what you quoted. I think it pretty much answers your question, but I will add to that: (anienge001: This one has been medically proven to increase chances of getting a particular sex. The Y-chromosomes responsible for male babies are known to be faster while the X-chromosomes lives longer. So, if the expulsion is 2 days before ovulation, chances are that only X-chromosomes will meet the egg. This will produce a baby girl. If expulsion is same day with ovulation, the faster Y will meet with egg, producing boy. Gynecologists in d house, pls correct me. ) Adding to that. The average woman has a 28 day menstrual circle (not all women). The ovulation day would most probably be on the 14th day. That means that she has her highest percentage of conceiving if you make love to her on this date. But this date can give you either a male or female. The Two days before this date has a high percentage of producing a baby girl, while the 2 days after this date has a high possibility of producing a baby Boy. So the koko of the matter is to be able to accertain the exact ovulation day. Some women might be able to do that by themselves while you the husband can also use some signs to do that. But there is already a test kit that can give you the exact date, not guessing. It works like the urine-pregnancy-test-kit. It's sold at N1,500 I think. With that you can test and get the exact date. Read up more books on the subject, add lots of prayers to it. Then you have a higher percentage of getting the exact sex of the baby you desire than someone who does not have this knowledge. |
anienge001: This one has been medically proven to increase chances of getting a particular sex.My dear, you beat me to this. This is exactly what I want to point out to the OP. Most of his assertions are in order. But this particular point is out of date. A couple can actually help influence the sex of their child by the particular days they choose to have intercourse as you have pointed above. You are correct. I had two babe girls, and I wanted my next issue to be a son so that I will stop at 4 kids i.e Two girls and two boys. I succeeded in geting a boy as my third child due to this knowledge that I and my wife acquired. Although I must stress that in all its God that determines the sex of the unborn child. But we sure can help ourselves by boosting our chances if we educate ourselves. Am hoping to use the same technique plus faith in God to make my fourth child another son. |
My people, Whether the OP has an agenda in posting these pics or not, the question is, are these pics a true reflexion of Aba or not? My answer is YES. T.a.orji is the worst thing that has happened to humanity. His criminal neglect of Aba is unbearable. These pics are just a tip of the iceberg. People live in these places. People have properties they invested Millions there too. Yet this incompetent t.a.orji has chosen to steal all our money and allow people to live and suffer at Aba as if we are still in the stone age. This is annoying, very annoying. True these pictures are not the best of Aba. But the truth is also that there is hadly any governance going on at Aba except extortng money from citizens under one guise or the other by his paid thugs. I pray that work starts on this federal road soon as has been variously reported. I am optimistic in that because the great performing Akpabio is involved. We realy need to be holding our South East governors accontable. While it is true that the SE receives the lowest federal allocation monthly, it is equally true that if Abia state had a human being as governor instead of this t.a.orji guy, even the paltry federal allocation plus the internally generated revenue Aba can boast will make Aba look a million times better than what we have presently. Other governors are building bridges and flyovers even where they are hadly needed, but Waterside bridge in Ogbor hill Aba records deaths almost on a daily bases, yet the ewu governor sits in Umuahia doing nothing but spending our money advertising himself in every imaginable media available - TUFIAKWA. MAY GOD NEVER ALLOW ABIA STATE TO GET GOVERNORS LIKE OUK AND TAO EVER AGAIN !!!!!!!! |
This is a governor at the very twilight of his administrtion, yet he is still performing because he wants his name to be written in Gold whenever Anamabra history is being written. Yet we have one stupiid t.a.orji in Abia state who has wasted 6 years and under his watch Aba has turned into a large refuse dump. He will tell you its because he has Aba and Umuahia. Well Peter Obi also has Awka and Onitsha, his sit of power is Awka, but he has not forgoten Onitsha. Any Anambra governor that sidelines Onitsha because he sits at Awka is plain stupid. And Peter Obi is way too intelligent to act stupidly. Likewise any Abia state governor that neglects Aba as this yeye t.a.orji is completely clueless and dumb. |
My People,if you see something good and commendable, just go ahead and appreciate it and stop playing unnecessary politics. These model schools built by Amaechi are amongst the best in Nigeria and are comparable to what is obtainable in developed nations of the world. That shows you that Amaechi has vision and he goes for standard quality. He has class and style. I remove my hat for him. Amaechi is doing quite well in Rivers. But someone here thinks because Amaechi is doing well, that Akpabio is not doing anything, wao, that is stupidity and politics carried to a myopic level. Because although Amaechi is trying, but Godswill Akpabio remains the best PDP governor if not the best governor in Nigeria. His Achievements are just too numerous to mention. I have allways said it that performance in Nigeria is not based on party affiliations. Its based on the individual. There are performing governors from PDP like Akpabio, Amaechi, Chime; And there are useless and idiotic PDP governors like t.a. Orji of Abia state; there are performing governors in the opposition too like Fashola (ACN), Rochas (APGA, Peter Obi(APGA) etc. So if we get the right person into the presidency, even if he is a PDP or APC man, he will perform. But if you vote the wrong person into the presidency, even if he is APC and all the other parties combined he will still fail as his predecesors. So let's shine our eyes. Unfortunately so many factors have to be considered when it comes to the presidency which might still force one to root for someone that you know is not exactly what you want, but due to other exigencies you find yourself voting him. in. |
My People, I think this man is a true Nigerian to the core. What he did is quite commendable. He is a rare gem and should be praised by all humanity. But what he did has presedence as against what some people are saying here that no muslim has done that before. Remember that the Christmas day underpant bomber was reported to the American authorities earlier by his father when he noticed some strange behaviours of his son. His father reported him to the appropriate authorities, but the authorities failed to do the appropriate thing and it nearly cost them a lot of American lives. The reason why am so proud of this man is that if you are actualy a dad and have a son, you would realise that it is the ultimate sacrifice to deliver your own son, your own blood, your lineage, to the hangman, no matter the crime your son might have committed. Honestly speaking I am not sure that I can do it if I were in that man's shoes. So I pray NEVER to be in that man's shoes. Slowly and steadily this Boko Haram nonsense is being brought under control. GEJ has finally shown that he can be a no-nonsense man, and the whole nation is queing behind him to get the security situation under control. This should show GEJ that what the nation demands is COURAGEOUS & EFFECTIVE LEADERSHIP in all spheres including in the fight against Corruption and in Poverty alleviation etc. |
Ricky_Ross: Very good news. My dear, I agree totally with you in this post here. Although the ACN e-warriors celebrate everything ACN even if they build one Latrine in one house while the PDP e-warriors castigate the ACN even though they build the eight wonder of the world in Nigeria; truth be told - Fashola is a great guy. He (Fashola) and Akpabio are my best governors in Nigeria. They are great performers. While Akpabio has dramatically turned Akwa Ibom from a rural bypass state to a modern state of destination with modern infrastructures within a considerably short space of time; Fashola has governed Lagos state as a very sophisticated and goal-oriented governor. Lagos is a mini Nigeria and is far more populated than many countries in the world. So anyone that has governed Lagos this effectively can make a good president for Nigeria. If Fashola or Akpabio contests for president in Nigeria under any party, they have my vote. Rochas, Osheomole & Amaechi are great guys too, not for getting Peter Obi and Sullivan Chime (don't forget that the South East states hardly get any serious allocations). Abia state is just damned unfortunate to get the likes of Orji Uzor kalu to T.a.Orji in quick succession. Those two are evil men that don't deserve to be local gvt chairmen of any LGA. May God help Abia. |
Its unbelievable that someone here asked someone to take a trip to Abia to see the legacies T.A.Orji is building. Wao wao how funny, ridiculous and myopic some people could be. For the records - T.A.Orji is the worst governor in Nigeria. Repeat - T.A.Orji is the worst thing that has ever happened to Abia state. He has only legacies of filth at Aba, no drainage, no road maintainance, touts collecting all sorts of imaginary fees and stealing the state dry to show for his 6 years stay in gvt house. This so called governor likes grandstanding and media show off a lot. So if we read that he cut short a visit to Abuja to open up a panel of enquiry for a collapsed building we should be dancing azonto, yeye man. His colleagues, the great Akpabio is there being awarded best governor in Africa (whatever that means) but Akpabio sure indeed is doing wonders in Akwa Ibom, while T.a.orji is always playing to the gallery and someone has the audacity to insult the intelligence of Abians by challenging someone to vist Abia and see. SEE WHAT IF I MAY ASK? IS IT THIS SAME ABIA THAT AM LIVING IN WHICH IS THE WORST GOVERNED STATE IN THE FEDERATION THAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT? Orji Uzor Kalu and his mother messed up Abia state and crowned his mess by annointing this masquerade to succeed him. They have both succeeded in making Abia state a laughing stock while the like of Rochas, Akpabio, Fashola, Osheomole and Amaechi are doing great in their respective states. Shame on T.a.orji. |
eGuerrilla: Let's get this straight; a surprise visit is ALWAYS to rally troops fighting on foreign soil. My dear, let's wait and see. You might still see the "Obama pays a surprise visit to Nigeria" headline very soon. But even if Obama actualy snubs Nigeria as you have insinuated here, that would be majorly for security reasons. Nigeria is facing a security challenge presently which the country is actualy tackling headlong as a Super Power without seeking troops assistance from any nation. America is helping Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan fight their terrorism. Mali, Somalia have troops from all over Africa helping them fight terrorism. Nigeria is fighting ours headlong and still we are a major troops contributor to most African flashpoint areas. That should make you realise the weight of Nigeria and our power. If Obama fails to visit Nigeria, he can not claim that its because we are undemocratic or corruption is high as some ignorant people are posting here. Nigeria is a major player, a regional super power, as far as African and thereby World politics is concerned. Every American president knows that you can not ignore Nigeria if you realy intend to engage Africa. Unless the president wants to neglect Africa entirely. Fact is that although I like Obama, but he does not respect Africa nor African leaders, and thats too naive of him. Whenever Obama wants to invite an African leader to the white house, he invites 3 or 4 of them at a time. If he wants to visit, he visits 3 or 4 at a time and lectures on Democracy and good governance. But when it comes to Burma or Arab countries he forgets democracy and good governance. Obama's assendancy to power is one of the greatest thing that has happened in this century, but truth be told, Obama does not show respect to Africa nor its leaders and that is stupiidity on his part. Obama has no valid reason not to visit Kenya. He should visit Kenya. But ofcourse he might not visit there now because of his warped African foreign policy. But whether Obama shows deserved respect to Nigeria or not, Nigeria still remains the giant of Africa. |
My people, Do not be surprised if Obama actualy ends up visiting Nigeria while on Africa. The media will have as headline "Obama pays a surprise visit to Nigeria". Fact is that Nigeria is fighting terrorism, so Obama might not actually announce his visit to Nigeria so as not to give the terrorists room to plan and try to attack him. Just check out how Western Leaders visit Iraq, Afghanistan etc. It is always called a "surprised visit". Where as in actual terms the host governments already know in advance that such visits will take place. So all the GEJ haters should calm down and watch events as they unfold. Nigeria is the Giant of Africa and America's Obama will neglect this great country at his own peril. I assure you all that Obama knows better than that. The president of Burma has just visited USA and Obama after Obama visited his country some few months back, Nigeria is a far better Democracy than Burma. South Africa's ANC and Jacob Zuma are not more democratic than Nigeria's Jonathan and PDP. Egypt is a democratic mess yet Obama visited Egypt even under the autocratic former president Hosni Mubarak. So let no one preach to you that Nigeria is not democratic. Infact just check out some few African countries like Cameroon where the life president Paul Biya has just woken up and established a new 100 man senate which comprises of 70 "elected" members and 30 selected ones. The so called elected 70 where almost handpicked by the same president under a so called electoral college where electors where packed in a room and their mobile phones seized and told what to do. Nigeria is a very functional democracy with checks and balances. We still have a lot to learn and a long way to go. But we are miles ahead of a lot of countries in this entire world. |
My people, Let's give honor to whom honor is due. I notice that some people are keen on jumping into lampooning president GEJ when he makes a faux pas, but the same people become deaf and dumb when GEJ scores a goal. That is not fair. As a people we should be giving constructive criticism when the need arises and should also be lavish in our praise when the need also arises. As we all can see GEJ is doing well in this Benin-Ore road reconstruction, therefore I say kudos to Mr president. We urge Mr president to keep up the good work and also hasten to make the second Niger bridge a reality. Even if the haters do everything to rubish his name, his name will be written in Gold in the history of Nigeria should he concretise this second Niger bridge. The Rails rehabilitation, the steel meels, the elctricity reforms, the new universities, the airport refurbishing etc all attest to great steps in the right direction. I will keep on giving you lavish praise when you do good (although its what you are elected to do in the first place), but I will also be among the first to criticise you when you make a silly mistake like the ill-advised pardoning of Alamesia which was an error of judgement. |
(Jonathan spoke after commissioning the 700,000 tonnes 5-Stand Tandem Cold Rolled Steel Plant, built by Wempco Steel Mill Limited at Ibafon, Ogun State, noting that the country would be producing about 12 million tonnes of liquid steel by 2020.) This is a very wellcome development. Steel production is very important and critical for any Nation that is aiming at massive industrialization. If the privatisation and reforms going on in the Electricity sector results in the expected major upliftment of electricity production and transmission, plus the rehabilitation of the Rails going on across the country, then the local and foreign investments into this economy that we seek shall be a reality sooner than we think. The second Niger bridge should be started and let us see it being done. I have read a lot resently about it so I want to see it started so that we start counting that into GEJ's steadily climbing achievements. Jonathan does not inspire confidense as a Leader should, neither does he have the charisma or the boldness that a leader should have, but truth be told, Jonathan is getting it right in very critical sectors of the economy, and that is what matters. So Mr president, you are not doing badly, but you can do a lot more. Thank you. |
My people, it is and would be a very good development for us to have a viable opposition party. If the APC gets their act together and puts their house in order it would be a good and welcome development. But whether they can be able to wrestle power at the center from the PDP is an entirely different thing. PDP has failed Nigerians undoubtedly, but that is because PDP has refused to make the right and capable people president. I mean if PDP makes Akpabio instead of Jonathan president we all know that Nigeria will be far more better for it. Likewise if the APC is serious, they should look in the direction of vibrant and achieving people like Fashola, Osheomole or Okorocha. But if the APC makes the mistake of fielding Buhari or Shekaru, they are sure to fail. I humbly disagree with this guy that I have quoted here. This is not yet time for any Northern president. Let the North get this straight. If we notice (as is becoming clear day by day) that this APC contraption is not meant to bring something better than PDP but only to enthrone a Northern president, then forget it, APC is dead on arrival. The North has ruled or rather misruled this nation for more than 38 years, so we are not yet in a haste to go back to those dark days. For the APC to have any chance at displacing Jonathan come 2015 they should forget Buhari, Shekaru and his co travellers and look in the direction of Fashola, Rochas and Osheomole and get for their vice the likes of El Rufai or Sanusi; If no then Jonathan will certainly cruise to victory in style. Godman_n: I suppose every one here wants a better future for Naija. I know it and believe it. The problem is that we all are seeing different version of one truth. Only God sees the whole truth. |
My People, this is a step in the right direction. However its one thing for the president to send a bill to the national assembly, and entirely another thing for those people in the two chambers of the national assembly to pass it. They delay a lot in passing bills, and they have a tendency of watering it down. So kudos to Jonathan on this one. But his party has a majority in both chambers of the legislature, so he should use his party machinery to ensure a speedy passage of the bill and that its not watered down. Jonahan still needs to do A LOT MORE before people shall take him serious as far as fighting corupton is concerned because that's his weakest link. Once again Mr president, this is one small step in the right direction as far as tackling your hill of achilles is concerned, Kudos!!! |
Am a christian, but I can't claim to have a clear-cut answer to your question as I myself have my own questions in my mind too. But I think these might be the reasons why God will set up the judgement day: 1. Granted that God already knows who is guilty and who is not, but some guilty people honestly do not know that they are guilty. Some pastors will go to hell for so many reasons. So God, being a just God will use that day to make it known to you the reasons why you do not qualify to go to heaven or vice versa. 2. I think God will also give us the oportunity to defend ourselves for some of our actions and reasons behind it. Fact is that many judges already knows a very guilty criminal, but they still allow you to defend yourself before condemning you, that is called fair-hearing. 3. On that day, God will open our rememberance faculty and we shall be able to remember every action we took while on earth so that we know exactly why one is being sent to heaven and the other hellfire. For example we have the witches association of Nigeria, we all know where their members are already headed, right? But we also have the Christian Association of Nigeria. Truth is that many of the great names in this association will end up in hell according to the Bible. So if for example you end up in hell and meet Bishop Kum..... after all the mighty works here, you will be damned too surprised and wonder what's wrong with God. But the judgement day will afford everyone the oportunity to know and understand why I for example must be put in heaven while some other person might go to hell. |
naijaobi: ONE THING IS CERTAIN: ATIKU AND BUHARI MUST CONTEST IN EVERY PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONBros you said it all, VERY WELL PUT. I just wonder why both ATIKU AND BUHARI can not comprehend in their heads that they CAN NOT BECOME NIGERIA'S PRESIDENT. |
My people, this is good because it has made the job a lot more easier for GEJ. The PDP knows and has mastered the strategy to win Buhari any time any day. So if the APC makes the mistake of fielding Buhari again, even if the PDP fields a nobody, they will still defeat Buhari. Fact is that Buhari is un-electable in a multi-ethnic, multi-religious, enlightened nation like Nigeria. The likes of Buhari can only be the president of a Sharia Northern Nigeria. Talk about a perenial failure, that is Buhari. He contested against Obasanjo, he failed, he contested against Yaradua, he failed, He contested against Jonathan (when Jonathan was yet to consolidate his grip on power) and he also failed. How in his warped mind does he think that he can now come and win Jonathan in 2015 (when Jonathan already has his VERY FIRM GRIP on power)? This is a very crazy and stupid ambition. This same Buhari cried and VOWED that the last election of 2011 was his LAST. But ofcourse no one respects agreements in this country, so even the self-proffessed righteous religious bigot-Buhari can not also respect his own agreement with Nigerians, Buhari cries - I laugh. Buhari is an old man already in his seventies. He is a religious fanatic of the worst order. SO BUHARI'S CANDIDATURE FOR PRESIDENCY IN 2015 IS ALREADY DEAD ON ARRIVAL. ANY POLITICAL PARTY THAT PRESENTS BUHARI - THE PERENIAL FAILURE- AS THEIR PRESIDENTIAL ASPIRANT HAS ALREADY FAILED BEFORE THE CONTEST BEGAN. I assure all nigerians, BUHARI WILL STILL CRY AGAIN IN 2015. The souls of the Youth corpers Buhari's incitements and utterances helped to kill will ensure that Buhari cries again!! The souls of the innocent people being killed by Boko Haram on a daily bases will ensure that Buhari cries again!!!! IN SHORT BUHARI MUST CRY AGAIN IN 2015 !!!!!!! |
nwando: And yet Muslims are clamouring that they get amnesty quick quickCHAI, YOU HAVE SAID EVERYTHING I WANNA SAY. THANK YOU FOR THIS POST. |
Outside Kano state, who knows Shakau, abi na shekaru? I have said it before, let me reiterate here for emphasis sake - If the APC wants to have any chance at all at displacing GEJ come 2019 they should field people like - Fashola, Rochas, Osheomole and get the likes of El Rufai, Sanusi, Shekaru or whetever from the North to be the VP. This is the only way they stand a chance to cut Jonathan core base of SS and SE, get SW, cut N.Central and get NE and NW. However if the APC is bent on fielding people like Buhari, Shekaru, mallam and Alhaji, they have already lost the election as Jonathan will cruise to victory. In short if the so-called opposition is not interested in offering something better, but only bent on returning power to the North in 2015, then I deh Laugh because Jonathan will get a landslide victory come 2015. |
doncartel: Jonathan should respect the agreement which he made public in Addis Ababa. We are not surprised because we know how sweet power is, but he should enjoy his one term and go home with his billions. Equity, fairness and justice demand power shift and federal characterI am laughing in Chinese. See who is talking about power shift. The North has been in power in this nation 85% of the time since we had independence. And they messed up everything. Jonathan is only trying to clean up the mess they created all these years from the ones Obasanjo couldn't finish cleaning. Jonathan is just the first South South president and someone is talking about power shift to the North, you are a dreamer. If power has to shift, let me show you how it will shift. Jonathan will stay in power till 2019 whether northerners like it or not. Power will shift to An Igbo man from 2019 to 2027 Then power will shift to someone from North Central i.e Benue or Plateau state etc from 2027 to 2035 Then back to the South probably Soth West from 2035 to 2043 The core North should only dream of having power again from 2043..... In 2011 all the Northern heavy weights ganged up including IBB, general Gusau, Atiku, etc etc what happened? Jonathan beat them all. Buhari is always a loser so he got roundly beaten by Jonathan too. If Jonathan beat the whole heavy weight Northern establishment in 2011 when he didnt realy have his firm grips on power, is it in 2015 when He already deh Kampke that the North will beat him with a light-weight like Tambuwal? Am now laughing in Igbo. Agreement my foot. Who respects agreements in this country? |
Madam Ngozu Okonjo Iweala made a very clear statement. And she made sense for that matter. Fact is that we Igbos are goal-getters. We are ambitious. We always want to go to the top of any endearvour we find ourselves. Each Igbo man has it in his DNA to be an achiever. We don't give up so easily. And we are proud of who we are. This is why anybody that has to compete with an Igboman feels threatened. Because the Igbo man will always manage to get to the top if everything is left on merit. It is because the Igbo man learnt fast from the colonial masters and was poised to take over every reign of the top echelon of Nigeria's political cum economic sphere, that the Yorubas felt threatened and connived with the never-do-well Hausas to run out the Igbos resulting into the civil war. The Yorubas then used the period to consolidate their grip on the economy while the Hausas consolidated their grip on the Army and the political space. Now beacuse the Igbo man's DNA is wired for success, we can fall as many times as possible, but we always rise to the top. Now the Igbo man's rise to power is looking imminent with our cousin Jonathan already in the sit of power, and so many people are already feeling threatened and jittery. Wao similar like the fear of the Jew. Truth is that if everything is left on merit the people that can compete with the Igbo man is the South South and South West. The North will not even get anything. And the northerners know it very well. That is why they use Federal character and their lopsided quota system to weigh us down. THE PARADOX OF NIGERIA IS THAT SINCE THE YORUBAS CONNIVED WITH THE NEVER-DO-WELL-IN-ANY-FIELD HAUSAS TO ENSURE THAT AN IGBO MAN NEVER GETS TO BE NIGERIA'S PRESIDENT, NIGERIA HAS NEVER DONE WELL AS ONLY MEDIOCRES MANAGE TO FIND THEMSELVES IN POWER. If the fear of the Igbo man is removed in Nigeria and everything is done on Merit, I assure you Nigeria will be better for it. The people that can compete will compete and the ones that can not might decide to opt out of Nigeria. Competition is good, and healthy competition is very good. This federal character and quota system bullshit is stiffling growth in Nigeria. Until we do everything on merit we might as well remain a sleeping giant. |
My people, some of you are seeing these pictures for the first time. I have seen them before and have seen the places in real life. The great Godswill Akpabio is one of the best governors in Naija and definitely the best PDP governor. If you know Uyo before you would know that it was just a glorified village. Akpabio has turned it into almost a Dubhai and is doing many more great things even in Ikot Ekpene and beyond. I have said it before, IF NIGERIA IS A SERIOUS COUNTRY AND PDP IS A SERIOUS PARTY THEN THE PDP MUST FIND A WAY TO MAKE THIS GREAT AKPABIO THE PRESIDENT OF THIS COUNTRY. Fashola is a great and dynamic Governor too, one of the best in Nigeria and certainly the best ACN and opposition governor. Fashola has a more populated and a more diversified state in Lagos to govern. Anyone who has governed Lagos as effectively as Fashola has done merits becoming the President of Nigeria and nothing less. Rochas Okorocha is doing so great in Imo state too. He has only been in power for a little less than 2 years unlike Fashola and Akpabio who have done almost 6 years, But Rochas is already doing wonders in Imo - Owerri, Olu etc. If the APC IS SERIOUS THEY MUST FIELD FASHOLA OR ROCHAS AS THEIR PRESIDENTIAL ASPIRANT COME 2015. Before someone thinks am from any of these states, am from Abia and am ashamed to say that my governor T.A.Orji is the worst thing that has happened to Abia state. He is the worst governor as under him, Aba the Japan of Africa can not boast of any maintainance of its dilapidated facilities or building of new ones. Akpabio is building bridges and FlyOvers where they might not even be needed if not for esthetic views, but Ogbor Hill Bridge at Aba is almost collapsing and Road accidents happen there on a daily bases but the Federal gvt has done nothing and our ever useless governor has not been able to repair(not build new one) local roads talkless of handling a bridge. TUFIAKWA. ABA TO UYO IS LIKE HELL TO HEAVEN. But the revers was the case a few years ago. |
My people, sentiments apart. Fact is that a Lamido/Amaechi ticket stands no chance at all at displacing GEJ come 2015 whether in the PDP or in any opposition party. When people make informed observations concerning Lamido, this poster resorts to insults. Question is - outside Jigawa state, who knows Lamido and his so-called achievements? Anwser - NOBODY. If you are looking for performing governors who can have a chance at displacing GEJ, talk of people like FASHOLA of Lagos, ROCHAS of Imo, AKPABIO of Akwa Ibom, ADAMS Osheomole of Edo and even Amaechi of Rivers. Then you can get a Lamido or El Rufai to be their Vice, then you have a possibility of beating GEJ come 2015. The propblem with the North is that they want power by all means. They hate Jonathan just because he is not a Northerner. For them a sick and paralysed Yaradua sitting there and doing nothing would be better than Jonathan. Sorry folks it woun't work ever again. If the opposition realy want to displace GEJ by 2015 Let them try fielding any of these pairs in APC and see what happens: ROCHAS / EL RUFAI FASHOLA / SANUSI They will have far more chance in smelling power with any of the above pairs than this dead-on-arrival Lamido/Amaechi or their usual Buhari+any southern V.P. If the poster wants to brandish his usual insults, no wahala. Let them bring out Lamido/Amaechi come 2015 and see GEJ smiling and cruising to victory EFFORTLESSLY. |
What is clear here is that the man has a high sexx drive while the woman probably has a low sexx drive. The woman should talk to her husband so that they come to a compromise. The woman has been doing great for 8 years. All she needs do is talk to her hubby so that they fine-tune things. As per this complaining sister, question is would she prefer that Mr High-sexx-drive gets a second wife to fill in for her sister when she is 'tired'? If the obvious answer is no, then she should advise her sister to talk to her man but keep giving it to him anyway. |
My dear, you are on a suicide mission if you are looking for an excuse to lay a married woman. Don't ever, repeat - Do not ever try to get intimate with a married woman. You might be cutting short or jeopardising your life by doing that. That said, its obvious that your neighbours are a bit weired. Granted they are a newly married couple. If they live in their own duplex all alone (without kids, househelps, siblings etc) they can shout the roof down while making love, who cares. If they live in their own duplex they could be walking naked inside their compound and even doing it outside i.e inside their compound (its great you know -sorry only those who can afford the luxury can enjoy this outside enjoyment and freedom). But in this case they live in a flat where they have a neighbour which happens to be you. So they ought to shout-less when being intimate and that woman should dress more reasonably while outside i.e inside the compound where you the neighbour might see her. Prevention is better than cure. So many women who get raped actualy caused it knowingly or unknowingly. This is because not all men can control themselves when they see some female body parts exposed. They might regret later, but the did would have been done. So What should you do? Don't talk to them. Just follow the advise already given in this forum i.e Get a girl friend and while getting intimate in your own room, make sure both of you shout the roof down consistently. And let her also walk half-clad arround the compound when your neighbours husband is sure to be arround. Above all bro, GO GET YOURSELF A WIFE SO THAT YOU STOP LOOKING AND FANTASIZING AT ANOTHER MAN'S WIFE. |
Sincere 9gerian: @Rossikk..,thanks for those wonderful pictures. Not withstanding the challenges, Nigeria is making progress. My dear thank you for this phrase "CORRUPTION IS DEMOCRATISED". quite funny but its true. Everyone is stealing in Nigeria. The fortunate states get a governor who is stealing and is still working. Unfortunately for Abia state, T.A.ORJI is Stealing, Looting, and packing more money abroad. The remaining ones he uses to buy up every space in the media to do propaganda while his Abia state remains the worst governed state in Nigeria under T.A.Orji. Talk about cluelessness, its T.A that best epitomises that word. Abia has been quite unfortunate to stumble from the illiterate and thieving Orji Uzor Kalu and his over domineering mother to this usesless T.a.oji. I WEAP FOR ABIA. See what Lagos is looking like under Fashola - Wonderful, see what Benin-Edo is looking like under Adams Osheomole - great, see what Rivers is looking like under Rotimi - great, see what Owerri is looking like under Rochas - great and promising, see what Akwa Ibom is looking like under the great Akpabio - Extra ordinary, then venture into Aba and Abia state and see what the state is looking like under t.a.orji you will collapse, if you are not held well you might have stroke when you see Aba under T.A.Orji. I WEEP FOR ABIA. |
My people, on the face level this is good as we realy do not need more states. Instead we need to make the existing ones more viable. But for equity sake the South East needs at least one more state to come at par with the six states which other geo-political zones have while one Northern zone even have 7. One more state in the South East was the only state approved for creation in the earlier draft that Ihedioha presented before the Northerners started shouting nonsense. Truth is that you can't blame the South East caucus or say they are not united. The military made it so. The military all headed by Northerners created the lopsided states and LGAs to favor the North. So they have more Senators and more Representatives. This was to ensure that to make any change to favor the South like this state creation would be hard to impossible under this democracy. These they did and sealed in the constitution before handing over to the civilians, including putting in the constitution that every state of the federation must produce one Minister under every government, to make sure the North dominates in everything. So as long as we are under this democracy and we do not have a strong-willed leader who is assertive, any meaningful change that will favor the south that needs constitutional change is dead on arrival. Democracy is a question of numbers and the Northern Military establishment ensured that the numbers overwhelmingly favored the North before handing over and they know that their Northerners do not reason out of the box as they are very petty and tribalistic, therefore there is hardly any room for a reasonable number from the Northern legislators supporting a worthy cause tha will favor the South. So the status quo remains and the North keeps drawing everyone back. The person that deserves to be digged up and hanged once again for the world to see is that block-head called Lord Lugard who conjured up this entity. Just check out where government does not legislate on Federal character and favors the North what happens: In the Nigerian Film Industry the South Dominate and the world is better for it. In the Nigerian Music Industry the South Dominate and everyone is better for it. In our Football same thing the South and we are winning victories. Great Writers like Chinua Achebe, Wole Shoyinka, even upcoming Chimamanda Adichie etc In virtualy all spheres of human development the South is Light Years ahead of the North. If Not for the Lugard mistake of 1914 the South would be at par with the likes of South Korea while the North might love to bombing everything out of existence like Pakistan and Afganistan. I love a big and great Nigeria if we can fulfill our potentials, but its becoming clearer every day that until the mistake of 1914 is corrected real success wil always elude us. |
My dear, your experience is real and dangerous. If you do nothing, you will be rendered koboless and finally a painful death. Divorce is not an option either as marriage is for better for worse and actually it might not be her fault after all. My advise is take her to THE SYNAGOGUE CHURCH OF ALL NATIONS. Prophet T.B.Jpshua and or the wise men shall deliver her. This one is not the type you take to ordinary pastors and they preach and pray for both of you. It's only pastors or prophets who have special calling in deliverance Ministry like T.B. Joshua etc that can set her free and set you free. The earlier you solution this problem the better for you. I know exactly what I am talking about. |
Ijogz K: Buhari/Fashola...The problem with some people is that they think from bottom up. Fashola has been performing and has proved to be a great governor,in fact one of the greatest that has ever come out of Nigeria. This guy should be made the president of Nigeria somehow in the future. Then one silly kid writes Buhari/Fashola 2015. Who the hell is Buhari in 2013? And what has he ever achieved in comparison to Fashola? If you say Fashola/Buhari then I might look at it somehow. Why must it be a Boko Haram Northerner as president, and a shinning performing Southerner as his vice predident? This is why this nation will continue to stagnate. Well thank God we know better. This nation must find a way to put great achievers at the helm of affairs, great people like Fashola, Donald Duke, Rochas Okorocha, Godswill Akpabio, and Anyim Pius Anyim - Yes Anyim Pius Anyim, Find a way to make them presidents in turn. Some people think its only governors that can be made presidents, no. Anyim is a great guy and some day He might also become Nigerias president. Then we can go to the North and source for their vice presidents. These vibrant northerners can be made their vice presidents - Sanusi Lamido Sanusi (if he will learn to guard his utterances), EL Rufai (if he will stop disrespecting constituted authorities, Nuhu Ribadu, etc. BUHARI'S TIME HAS GONE FOR CRYING OUT LOUD. He has contested against Obasanjo and WAS DEFEATED. He contested against Yaradua and WAS DEFEATED. He contested against Jonathan and WAS DEFEATED. IF HE CONTESTS AGAINST JONATHAN AGAIN COMMON SENSE SHOULD TELL EVERYONE THAT HE IS BOUND TO BE DEFEATED AGAIN. Buhari can only win election in some parts of the core North bc he is a religious extremist. He can not win elections in most of the South. That means he can never become Nigeria's president under this democracy. If APC realy wants to have a chance at winning the presidency, they must field a Southerner like Fashola or Okorocha and find a northern VP for him, Shikena. |
My people, The write up has put facts on ground. Anyone that refuses to believe the truth shall soon live to swallow his vomit. Just as projections had it that the Chinese economy will overtake the Japanese at some point and it happened; So Nigeria's economy will overtake South Africa's soon if we keep doing certain things in certain ways. G.E.Jonathan is getting it right on the economy with the likes of Okonjo Iweala,Aganga and Sanusi(wish Sanusi could keep his mouth shut most of the time though)at the helm of affairs. He has a great Agric Minister and a great Aviation Minister. Jonathan is getting it right on Power reforms. We shall certainly see a VERY REMARKABLE IMPROVEMENT on power generation and distribution under this administration soonest. The Second Niger Bridge construction will soon be started this year. The Rails are a great plus and he is still doing great along that line etc etc I keep saying this, Jonathan is not very likeable as a president as he certainly does not inspire confidence as a leader should. Jonathan might have a lot of weak points, but truth be told, Jonathan is getting CRITICAL SECTORS OF GOVERNANCE RIGHT, AND THAT IS WHAT MATTERS. We have had Handsome presidents like Gowon and IBB, what did they achieve? We have had strong-willed Leaders like Obasanjo and Abacha, what did they achieve? Jonathan is making progress steadily. Let us all encourage him and give him the chance to do more. Ofcourse Jonathan has his failings. Jonathan certainly needs to do more in the area of fighting corruption as he is scoring far below average there. Contrary to what people think, Jonathan is doing great in fighting terrorism, but he can do more. HOME-GROWN TERRORISM as we are fighting is very very difficult to fight and win. Check out Afghanistan where the Russians fought and ran away, the allied forces being led by America have fought and they are planning to run away too. Check out Pakistan and Irak too. USA, UK and EU Countries where able to root out terrorism because it wasn't actualy home grown. The terrorists were majorly Arabs that came from Arab countries even if some where born there. Bottom line is that Jonathan is fighting Home-grown terrorism and He is not doing badly at all, although he can do better. The Northern born-to-rule politicians will do themselves a great favor by cutting out support for these islamic-Jihadist-killer-zombies because in the long run, it is the North that will ultimately suffer for their stupidity. Nigeria is becoming an investment destination inspite of Boko Haram. What does that imply? That means that actualy SOUTHERN NIGERIA is becoming an investment destination. That means that the South is even going to run into the jet age while the North is left behind in the dark ages still grapling with Polio and other preventable diseases that have long been eradicated in the South and the world. Let the North give Jonathan peace of mind to govern this great nation for us all so that we all shall make progress. But if the North refuses and continues with this Boko Haram bullshit, well they shall be left behind because no amount of bombing or propaganda on Saharareporters and its likes will stop Jonathan from being in power till 2019. Yes, you heared me right, till 2019. Go figure. |
