esosa4real: Ideally it's not possible except if there was a marking error.
Listening is objective and not subjective like writing. In the listening test there is no room for errors in spelling and mixing up singular/plural words . That’s probably why you scored 7.5 |

horlorbah: Hello House. Please I need urgent answers as I just received my IELTS results. I entered the pool earlier this year with my old IELTS but it was obviously too low to get me an ITA so I did the exam again and my scores has improved. Now the problem is this:
I've forgotten the username and password I used to open my profile the first time, although I have access to the email I used to register but I don't know how to update my new IELTS score on the IRCC portal and I heard it risky to have 2 profiles on the EE website.
Someone please advise me on what to do.
Thanks Try and reopen your account but avoid two profiles. The CRS score has not gone below 471 this year thus I believe there are tons of people on 469 and 470. If you create a new account with any of these scores the tie break rule may work against you |

hedonister: Hello Guys, I hope your sunday is going well.
I finally summoned courage to go down this route but being someone who likes doing feasibility study to see if i can be selected, i used that CRS tool to see my possible score and it is 416 which is a far cry from the 471 minimum required. I reallydo not want to waste my time but then i added that i have a provincial nomination and the thing shot up to almost 1000.
What i want to know now is, what is the likelihood of someone getting nominated by a province? Saskatoon and ontario. For ontario human capital stream (technology) you need above 460 to be considered. |

TOdus18: I wrote the IELTS exam yesterday Mehn! It was tough. Sadly I got distracted in the listening and missed some questions. I'm so angry with myself. As for the writing, it was a race against time. I didn't have time to correct errors. I could see them but we had already been asked to drop our pencils. I think I did well in the reading aspect while the speaking was just okay. I wrote with MOD/IDP. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and hope that I scale through. You are permitted to lose up to 4 questions in listening (36/40) and still make 8.0. Kindly exercise patience till your result comes out but from experience I'm more comfortable with computer-based tests as it's easier to concentrate on the screen. Also I'm more comfortable typing than writing for long. When your result comes out you'll know what next to do |

Currently at 463, can get to 469 if I max out However birthday is in mid January. Remark came back as same... Was already thinking of doing TEF(which would take 6-7months to clinch).
Now I don't know if I should take the risk of rewriting IELTS hoping to Max out or just focus my energy on TEF. Try and max ielts (LRWs 8.5 8.5 7.5 8.0) that should give you three or four extra points . French TEF is a much longer path |

AyeeshaB: I don't have the answers to all your questions but what is certain is that reading scores literally never change because its not subjective. The answers are the answers and cant change, if you know what I mean. With writing, there is a chance you scores may change, most changes I have seen are +0.5. I would advise you register for another test. It was a good attempt but from what I’ve seen scores for listening and reading don’t change. Nevertheless reading is the most challenging task and you may be surprised finding out that you lost points on some questions you were so sure of particularly the true, false and not given task |

It use to be 30 points but now 60. Nobody knows if it’s an error or a change . And there’s no much information about it in the public space |

Jacknn: Please I have few questions to ask as I'm just begging the process
1) I have a BSC and OND(3yrs) which I believe can stand for me as 2 or more degrees..I'm I suppose to do Wes evaluation for both degrees or only for my BSC.. I intend using both so as to claim points for 2 or more degrees:;
2) I intend learning French to boast my score going into next yr when I intend to enter the pool; if I'm serious with the French and I use approximately 5 to 6months to prepare for it and ielts can I ace it in that period of time, any body with experience dealing with the French language, how its been done, when will u get ur result, what's the minimum score to get.how many months can one really get prepared to ace the exam and all, just anitin info would do
3) I have 3 years experience including NYSC, but just 1 continuous yrs of experience but I want to claim points for 3yrs,hope it can work..and for the case of proof of payment via the place u work..is the proof of payment via bank statement just for like 6months back or a year etc,how many months or years do de ask of from ur bank statement when applying thankss Good plan. Also keeps tabs with the Canadian immigration news as there are rumours that some category of people have had additional 30 points on their profiles . We don’t know how true it is . |

Igethope: 30 points for those with a degree or 3years diploma. Unless they do a specific draw for theses CEC guys, crs will not drop for now. People with Canadian education that are in 450/460s are much . Imagine a lot us that struggled to hit 470+. Crazy time. There has been no official communication regarding this and the change seems like a bug on the CRS score calculator . But on profiles scores have not been updated . Hopefully we’ll hear from them tonight |

First of all register for the IELtS language exam , take the test and get your result. While that Is ongoing do a result verification via WES. You need the reference number from these two activities to get into the pool. While in the pool with the hope that you’ll be invited in the next draw or couple of draws you can’t tidy your proof of funds, employment reference letters and police report. After invitation you can book your medicals and prepare for submission |

Kenmatt: This is a right step on a right direction. Igbos are too big to be fooled.
Ndi-Igbo, the think-tank of this nation, has been subjected to the stink-tank in the nation.
If not oil, there is no reason whatsoever that would present the South-South man to cling to the golden seat at the Villa before that man from the East.
Igbos shaped the Nigeria we are enjoying all today, count it in all facets of life. But it seems as if Igbos are suffering from political marginalisation in a modern day Nigeria politics simply because of their loyalty to PDP. Nigeria of today is oil dependent . Economically the south east major trade is importation which is facilitated by petrodollars . Thus every region is important. I don’t know what you mean by “Igbo shaped Nigeria”. Politically the igbos have supported pdp blindly for more than 20 years without getting anything tangible there . I once argued with a friend on how his hate for buhari was making him blind . Pdp or apc have nothing to offer the igbos in 2023. They better even seat at home on Election Day or form a regional party |

NSNominee: Yea... I heard so. Read it yourself . I don’t know of PNP but for the FSW express entry the requirement is that the money is available when you apply and when entering the country . The six month requirement I know of is six months average balance which doesn’t say monthly average balance must be above the required threshold |

NSNominee: Hi Guys please I have a question, sorry in advance for the long write up and any inputs will be appreciated.
I got nominated by NS and my current ee point is 1055, my profile expires at the end of Feb, I’d lose 5 points in December(birthday).
When I submitted my documents to NS for the nomination I used 2 gift deeds from my cousins in the US which made up the bulk sum of the money along with a letter of explanation that I’m studying abroad now as such my family foots my bills and I was still able to get the nomination. Considering my current EE point I’m certain I’d receive an ITA next draw but I’m thinking maybe I should keep rejecting the ITA till the money hits 6 months in my account( 2 months left). The reason for this is; I don’t want to apply for PR using the gift deeds or writing a letter of explanation. Do you think this is a good plan or will it lead to issues? Is there any law that says money must be in account for six months ? Not seen that before |

damidam: Will I be able to check answers from my previous section for the listening part? Yes but there is very little time for that (just about two minutes at the end of the test). For the reading learn the tricks as the marking for reading is very strict. Thus aim to get every question right as 39/40 bring your score down to 8.5 and 38/40 brings score down to 8.0 All the best . |

damidam: Oh! At last. How sufficient is the time for the listening part per section? I am asking because during practice I write my answer on paper and type it to the computer after each section. So I just want to know if I will have that luxury of time do that on the real test.
Thank you. You will barely have 1 or 2 minutes. Practice by directly answering on the computer because in the CBT test you’ll need to answer directly on the system. 2 minutes will not be enough to even transfer 15 questions to the computer. |
