Whether we like it or not, it still remains speculations until whoever is being touted to have political ambitions formally declare interest as things stand now, let's keep our fingers crossed! |
Libyan militia men you better watch it, America might retaliate! |

Who said I was interested in materialistic girls? I'm merely trying to get opinions from folks about my observation. No harm in seeking help in weeding out gold diggers is there? |
Depends on what you mean by rich salad! But I can mention Spicy Chicken Salad to you! |
@Lovetinz I tire for your girl long throat o! But seriously compare turning down an expensive car gift to demanding for a laptop. As for the girl that wants her guy to sell his car to pay for her rent, if I be your guy she's well and truly on her own! |
I'm tempted to ask the question when I hear the ridiculous amount of money Abj chicks demand from guys who want to date them. One lady I heard of declined a car gift her sugar daddy bought her because she felt it was below her class meanwhile it was a Toyota Corolla 2011 model. Another Abj chick wouldn't date a guy because he couldn't afford to pay her rent which was over N1 million for a 2 bedroom flat in Wuse for 1 year. When I hear guys scream about how hungry Abj chicks are for cash, I'm tempted to ask this question - Are Abj chicks the greediest in Naija? What's your opinion? |
tjskii: So wat xctly do u propose we do brosDon't mind that one! *Complaints without suggestions = Noise!* |
PHCN workers better know your real enemies before entering into a fight. You might just be protecting them without knowing! |
Op you have touched a sensitive issue. I've come to see the problem with managing the Abuja National Stadium as a problem revolving around corruption and incompetence. Shame indeed! |
Ever tried it before? What was your experience like? Combined with fruit juice and fried snails = heavenly paradise! http://www.abujafood.com/food-matters/the-menu/882-moi-moi-with-prawns.html |
Op, this message brings an issue to mind - how to avoid one chance robberies in Abuja |
This is a very important security issue, one chance in Abuja is a very disturbing trend indeed! |
I don't disagree with him. Since coming on board we have seen some noticeable changes in how this country has been managed at least compared to his predecessors! Thumbs up Mr President but don't rest there is still more to do! |
We need more actions not mere words from the Senate on this sensitive issue! |
Starting a Home business in Nigeria isn't something to joke about the temptation is to think because it's being done at home therefore one can take things easy! |
*Courtesy http://www.abujafood.com/lifestyle/health-a-fitness/876-5-easy-ways-to-stay-fit-and-healthy-in-abuja.html* Like must developing cities in Africa, Abuja is not pedestrian friendly. Some roads don't have easily accessible pavements and the heat especially in dry season, is very discouraging. This sedentary lifestyle makes it very easy to add pounds to our weight and inches to our waist line. The weight can creep up on you if you don't consciously make an effort to live a healthier lifestyle. Thankfully, Abuja does have a few options for individuals who want to improve on their health or simply get fit. Below are a few easy ways you can achieve this in Abuja; Eat Lots of Fruit Eating healthy in Abuja can be expensive. Salads especially can be quite expensive at upscale restaurants. Thankfully, Fresh exotic fruit are easily available in Abuja. This is due to its close proximity to Jos where most of the fruit is transported from. Pineapples, Paupau, Apples, Water Melons, Oranges and even grapes can be bought at some street corners, supermarkets and the main markets at good prices, if you bargain well enough. Abuja also has quality fruit bars such as Smoothie Parlor and Juice Place 2 in the Wuse district. You can grab yourself a smoothie for about N500 upwards. Succo Naturale, a juicing company also conveniently delivers fresh juice to your home or office to ensure that all you avid 'Juicers' out there are supplied. A good diet is the main source of good health, and there's no better way to do this than dieting on fresh fruit. Join a Gym The Gym is the universal tried and tested way to not only loose weight but improve fitness and health. Here in Abuja, there are numerous gyms on offer especially in the central parts of town. From the modest type with a few treadmills and weights to the luxury lifestyle gyms complete with health restuarant, pool and Jacuzzi. Gym membership in Abuja is usually divided up into monthly, quarterly and yearly programs. The price of membership can range beteen N20,000 Naira a month to N80,000. If you have the disposable income and the time, by all means, Join a gym! Go Outdoors Abuja is known for its many parks and gardens. Add the open space with good weather and you have perfect ourdoor work out conditions. The great thing about the great outdoors is that its free. The bad thing is that you may have to share the great outdoors with everyone else. There simply is no privacy. A great tip to avoid funny stares while you workout outside is to go out in the early mornings and weekends where you can maintain somekind of privacy. Durban- Riverplate park in Wuse 2, just off Ahmadu Bello way is a great park to do some walking or jogging. A good outdoor exercise program like walking 30 minutes to 1 hour daily can help burn useless body fats and improve blood circulation. Join a Dance Class Dancing is perhaps one of the most poular ways to enjoy oneself but also stay fit and healthy. Nigerians especially love to dance for no reason at all. Abuja has a few dance classes on offer such as Salsa and Zumba dance class that have grown in popularity over the years. Dancing like any other type of excersise helps improve blood circulation and weight loss. Zumba dance classes usually hold in Maitama Amusement Park from Monday to Friday.. Join a sports club We can all recall old school days when we were part of a sports team such as basketball, football, netball and more. In Abuja you can easily start your own sports club with your friends or join pre-existing ones. The sports clubs on offer are usually informal so you have to do alot of asking around to find out about locations and times. Trust us, it's all worth the hassle when you start to improve on your health and fitness, meet new people and have fun at the same time. |
Ladies perhaps you're right about this but seriously there are spas and there are spas. Not all of them leave you with regrets! I'll say check out Cleopatra Spa in Abuja |
Where are some places in Nigeria to receive great spa treatment, let's share experiences together! I'll go first in Abuja, there's Cleopatra spa @Sheraton hotel and towers. They're good and relatively affordable |
Who is this garri maniac on the lose? What's with this sabotage you're forcing us to read? |
Should this qualify as good or bad news? It's sad how some people do all they can to rubbish the efforts and accomplishment of this administration but are only too eager to grab a piece of the sweet juicy PHCN pie. Now how do we reconcile criticizing a Government for being an abysmal failure but doing all you can to acquire assets the same government is putting up for privatization? Some people just talk for talking sake. Politicians all they care about is their selfish interests. |
All those of you criticizing and pretending to have his interest at heart, don't forget Eldee's famous slogan: Is it your money? |

*Courtesy Abujafood.com* The Wedding day, especially in Nigerian culture, is an event one cannot afford to take chances on. Everything has to be perfect. Imperfection is simply not an option. It is usually a shock to the Nigerian bride who has been waiting all her life for this special day, when everything doesn't go to plan. The truth however, is that the bride is usually the reason why the wedding day does not exceed expectations. Here’s why, Nigerian Brides are usually Control Freaks! They want to control and organise every tiny detail of the big day, from the Food, decorations, drinks, entertainment and any other thing within thier reach. Brides forget that on their special day they should be occupied with feeling and looking beautiful, not stressing about the amount and consistency of the Jollof rice on the menu. Wedding planning and management should be left to proffessionals, leaving the bride to savor each moment of this once in a life time event. Below are a few ways an event planner can lower your blood pressure on your special day. Save Cost One of the fears most people have for not hiring a wedding planner is the cost they imagine they will have to bear for their services. But that is actually not the case when you hire a reliable wedding planner. The truth is most people fail to realize that most wedding planners work in partnership with events vendors such as caterers, event decorators, ushers, drinks suppliers, rental service businesses and so on. If for instance you decide you can hire a caterer to do your cooking for you and you decide to handle every other thing, guess what? You’ll miss out on discounts vendors grant wedding planners and therefore spend more. Crowd Control How can you tell who is an invited guest or not at your wedding? Perhaps some invited friends may invite their friends as well that way attracting more mouths for your food, how about when it’s time to handle sharing of gifts/souvenirs? It’s scary and embarrassing when people struggle to receive souvenirs at weddings, I can imagine how the bride and groom will be saddened by such a sight. Wedding planners take all these different scenarios into account, making sure that there is always a back-up plan to diffuse any awkward situations. Excellent Service Weddings are all about the ambience, there's no better way to ensure a romantic ambience than through top-notch service. It is the work of the wedding planner to ensure that the Musicians, Emcee, Ushers and other staff deliver above average service at your wedding. “if the emcee, band/DJ and Ushers offer low quality service, the whole event is messed up already” those are the words of Zarah Bliss one of Abuja’s top wedding planners. Appropriate your resources The difference between a great wedding and a mediocre one is not the size of the budget but how the budget is used approriately. Some people make the mistake of spending too much on drinks and very little on souvenirs so that guests leave the event without anything to show for their attendance. Sometimes a great venue is picked but the quality of food is very poor or doesn’t go round. Other times a modest venue is chosen and there is too much food that eventually goes to waste. How do you know how to appropriate resources so you don’t waste or under spend? The answer is to pick a reliable wedding planner who is an expert at determining how your budget should be used to create your perfect wedding. A good wedding planner can help you create a Wedding you’ll always remember fondly.
