It's none of our business now since they found him worthy for re-election. Let's stop crying more than the bereaved.

PhonesRe: Effect Of MTN's Monopoly On Economies Of Sub-Saharan Countries - Reno Omokri by Achoghim: 9:13pm On Jan 25, 2024
It's in our character to blame others for our own shortcomings. Glo as an alternative is just terrible, I experience network outages almost every day and some can last hours. You don't just know when that "emergency calls only" or "no service" will pop up. I've made a lot of complaints via Facebook to Glo customer care but nothing has changed since then. There's no Glo 4G connection in my area but MTN has. Let's stop blaming others and work on ourselves
RepoMan007:
Maybe MTN is also responsible for poor Glo network also.

DSTV is almost same story. They win the race and get hated for the fruits of their superior service.
PhonesRe: Effect Of MTN's Monopoly On Economies Of Sub-Saharan Countries - Reno Omokri by Achoghim: 9:07pm On Jan 25, 2024
I don't know about the economics side of MTN's business but one thing I know is that they are the best in Nigeria. Where's the alternative? Is it Glo that goes on and off almost every day? Is it Airtel that zaps data like an F1 race car guzzling fuel or is it 9mobile that's turning off some of their masts?

Good for him. Julius Berger and RCC are the best. Ngige will never be forgotten in Anambra for doing what he did in Anambra with RCC. Obi was the worst. Soludo is doing well but can still do better(in roads).
PoliticsRe: Ibadan Explosion: CAC Documents Of The Mining Firm Carry Foreign Names - Makinde by Achoghim: 8:40am On Jan 18, 2024
Storing the explosives with the military isn't a solution in any way, instead it creates more bureaucratic bottleneck for licensed miners. Another question is, is it the military that won't mishandle the charges? In my opinion, the executive order should mandate the storage of explosives in hardened bunkers far away from civilian population.

Foreign AffairsRe: Iranian Colonel Hossein Ali Javadanfar Killed By Armed Men In Saravan, Iran by Achoghim: 8:05pm On Jan 17, 2024
There’s a calculated attack against the Iranian military top brass, probably aimed to dampen morale and reduce combat effectiveness. It’s a surgical operation to remove the best brains of the Iranian military.

Foreign AffairsRe: Israel To Pull Some Troops From Gaza As War Enters New Phase by Achoghim: 6:14pm On Jan 02, 2024
Wars are fought in phases, in order to achieve maximum efficiency. You have to strike a balance between military and economic success. Israel with its relatively small population can’t afford to keep reservists (who are working civilians in peacetime) in the warfront for extended periods. That’s why the IDF has a strategy of quickly advancing through the battlefield. The war started with airstrikes, then advanced to ground operation, it is going back to airstrikes for the mop up and last phase. It’s a war of attrition and Israel can’t afford to keep boots on the ground for that, I believe it is going to be more of aerial attacks (precision missile strikes, guided bombs and artillery strikes) from now on.[ quote author=obinna58 post=127744259]Media always confusing us, thought Israel is beating them hands down

How are these people holding on the almighty un defeat-able Israel[/quote]
Foreign AffairsRe: Israel To Pull Some Troops From Gaza As War Enters New Phase by Achoghim: 5:27pm On Jan 02, 2024
The labour intensive phase of the war is over, it is time to let some hands go. The war started with aerial strikes, then proceed to ground operations which needs a lot of manpower, and now that its objectives has been achieved, it is time to switch back to aerial bombardments for the mop up phase.

Foreign AffairsRe: US Navy Helicopters Destroy Houthi Boats In Red Sea After Attempted Hijack by Achoghim: 4:21pm On Dec 31, 2023
Container ships are huge and mostly sail slowly, that's why pirates tend to use fast boats to catch up. They don't attempt to stop the ship, rather they attempt to board from the side and seize control. Attempting to stop a moving container ship by getting in front of it with speedboats is basically a suicide mission.
Equity15:
I really want to understand how these pirates hijack a whole shop using small boats. Like is it possible to stop a trailer using an okada/motor cycle?
