Onlytruth: My brother ACM10, I owe you one special favor. Please keep reminding me of it because I hope to reward you somehow.Eze daalu! The fact that u recognised my effort is enough reward for me. I appreciate. Chukwu gozie gi. Ihe anyi choro bu oganihu Anambra. Late highlife maestro, Dr. Oliver de Coque famously said that "a tenant does not plant flower in a rented apartment". A tenant does not have right on how the landlord develops his property. We are witnessing northerners blackmailing us with their religion inorder to stifle projects in our land. They are dictating to us on how we develop our land. Ihe any choro bu oganihu Anambra. Otu a bu etu mu si aru oke mu. |
Ogbonaikenna: Is that a mosque?Follow me ask dem o. It's shameful and embarrassing, how these people use every flimsy excuse to inflame emotions. Notice that most structures around the mosque has been demolished. The one left standing are the ones that are predominantly occupied by the northerners. In essence, they are sacred cows in Head Bridge market. |
Front page pls! www.nairaland.com/1009753/re-plan-demolish-mosque-onitsha It is the continuation of the thread below. www.nairaland.com/1002371/plan-demolish-mosque-onitsha-muslims Complete with photos! |
I must remark that this area has a very heavy northern presence. So I have to snap undercover. I could not get a good shot of the mosque since I could not snap from a vantage position, cos doing so will attract the attention of the eagle-eyed northerners that a curiously monitoring my moves. I intends to make a case to the casual observers that Gov. Obi is indeed right in his decision to beautify the front of the market. The mosque and all the structures in front of the market should be demolished. This is my candid opinion as a concerned Anambrarian. |
CyberG: And who's this idiota who has no opinion of his but follow around like a lapdog!?? Buzz off, stupido!I've told u to be compliant with your medications. Stop harassing NLers whenever u slips into your frequent terrible relapses. |
ndu_chucks: The OP is indeed silly. We are yet to see the photograph of the "dilapidated" mosque. We are instead provided with pictures which show the incompetence of the state and local government in providing a safe and environmentally clean conditions for residents. That neighborhood needs to be cleaned up. Blaming the poor condition of the surrounding to the presense of a mosque is shameful of the OP.I know that posting the picture of your brother in an uncompromising position in front of the drainage system will get u riled up. Therefore, your outburst of emotion is understandable |
Work in progress. . .

The back of the mosque. Remember that this makeshift structure sits in front of a very popular prescription drug market in Nigeria.
|
The mosque is by the side of this 4 lanes Upper Iweka to Head Bridge expressway.

More pictures to come. . . Stay tuned |

CyberG: Racist, tribalist bigoted people call it filth! Does the mosque constitute the only filth over there? I bet not but you must find any excuse to show your bigotry! Such classlessness!!When I say "filth", I mean the vicinity of the mosque. Pls respond to the message, and don't derail this thread by attacking the messenger. |

Sequel to this thread. www.nairaland.com/1002371/plan-demolish-mosque-onitsha-muslims . . .and in fulfillment of my promise to Asha 80 asha 80: i wish you post a pic of that place people who are ignorant of that place will appreciate the eyesore there.i know say u get some pics of osha. ACM10: I never knew that this issue will ever arise. I was at Bridge Head market exactly one yr ago. It rained on that day and I took shelter at the back of the mosque in a shop where they sells mattress. The place was a muddy mess. The day I visited the market coincided with their prayer day. The place where the mosque was located is supposed to be an open place. Most of the structures there are makeshift structures. The environment is very dirty too. Infact, those areas are in dire need of Upper Iweka styled treatment. I will try to provide photos when next I visits.www.nairaland.com/1002371/plan-demolish-mosque-onitsha-muslims/4#11602150 I hereby present to Nairalanders the pictures of the Onitsha Head Bridge Market mosque that is raising so much dust. Would you tolerate such filth at the major point of entrance into your state?

Onlytruth: Bros we are waiting for those pictures.Eze i ga adi o. I heard u loud and clear. I'm still still in Anambra. I might go back to Enugu later today. Either I post the pictures of the said mosque and its vicinity here or I open a new thread for it with the link to the thread here. But one thing is certain. . NLers will view the photos. A na ekwu ekwu a na ekiri onyonyo. |
I have the photos of the mosque in contention and its environs with me now. I will post them on this thread when I get to Enugu. WATCH OUT AND STAY TUNED! ![]() |
Dis Guy: its a case of baboon dey work monkey dey chop, the policy was to end cement importation by 2012/13 hence gradual descrease of importation quotaStop peddling this your lies Mr. Man. Dangote is investing nothing in the manufacturing sector. I will provide the photos of Dangote's moribound cement factory in Nkalagu Ebonyi State during my next visit. Dangote used this lie to get government to push Ibeto out of business. Now he is employing the same old, tired trick to win the sympathy of Nigerians. He's fronting himself as the victim, while he is infact the bully. |

omicron: Absence of facial hair in a guy of 26 is a genuine cause for concern. Is it an isolated problem? Or did u have delays in other male secondary sexual characteristics, like deepening of voice. If yes then you may be worried about an underlying causative problem rather than just the lack of facial hair. If however u have not noticed any associated problems, then u can use minoxidil cream as suggested. It's a drug meant for heart problems but has a side effect of enhancing hair growth. Best advice still remains to see your doctor--an endocrinologist should help you best.he will benefit from the advice of a dermatologist too |
Use minoxidil cream on your chin if you can't wait for nature to intervene. |
A ploy to stay relevant by a 40yr old ex-pornster, who is speedily decelerating to irrelevancy |
This topic has been moved to Jokes Section. Sexkillz |
Dis Guy: >insert raised eyebrow<My dear, Dangote imports all his cement and has never produced a single bag in Nigeria. That's one of the ploy that he used to prompt Obasanjo to ban Ibeto cement. He still imports all his cement till date |
aribisala0: Now you are following me around on threads? Is there something wrong ? I expressed my opinion as is my right and you choose to attack me personally? I think u need the help of a psychiatrist. |
Dis Guy: yes he started by importation and naturally moved with the times abd current legislation, thereby supporting FG determination to produce what we consume in the country gradually until they can make importation very unattractive, but mr Ibeto is taking the easy way out, importing only, we all can just continue importing or re-bagging cement, but who is that helping how many sustainable jobs are we creating that way? the cureent legislation support the highest manufacturer, the more you manufacture in the country the more you are allowed to import and less tax you pay- thats the idea, but mr ibeto is enjoying the buy n sell model. no added value no job creation nothing. you cant penalise someone for taking the risk to invest in the country, ibeto has politicians rooting for him tooThat's BS! Dangote has never produced a bag of cement in Nigeria. He imports all his cements till date. |
aribisala0: Dangote is not the only member of CMAN,LaFarge is too and I believe his case is very meritorious.Get away! Your take on issues is most often warped. The federal government defense team prayed to court to dismiss Dangote's suit as lacking merit. While the all-knowing aribisala0 sits behind his computer and declare that Dangote's case is meritorious. Do u actually mean that it is right for Dangote to sue Ibeto after prospering through unfair competition? What a retarrrd! Dangote played by a different rule and his competitor is following suit to level out the playing field. We can't encourage ascendancy in business through government patronage. That doesn't prepare our businessmen for international competition. So it must be discouraged, starting with this case. As an astute businessman that he claims to be on international arena, why can't he allow the forces of market to push his competitor out of business? The article from the OP explained everything in great details. I wonder why u are racing to feed us with your characteristic jaundiced assumptions. |
Dangote is a buffoon |
aribisala0: Please do not address me with FvckingI commiserate with you that your parents abandoned you. That's why you insult someone's parents at will. Well I was well-trained and nurtured by my parents. I was taught not to insult someone's parent, no matter the provocation. I can see that it's pointless engaging a brain-damaged twit like you. Recoil back to your gutter abode and engage your likes. I can't create 5 useless pages engaging in a game of insults with u. As for your reference to the Igbos, I give u that as an assignment. Go through your posts on this thread whenever u are in your lucid interval. Identify those comments and tender an unreserved apology. Goodbye f00l! |
aribisala0: Dear Mr ACMYou are a fvckin hypocrite man! Why contradict yourself with this comment? "Did I say so or did the Yoruba hold a referendum and agree on those claims?I doubt very much though that all Yoruba hold that view or any other view" Since you knew that the view of certain Yoruba characters represents their personal opinion, why do u assume in complete contrast that Gov. Obi and Gov. Orji's opinion represents that of Igbos? ![]() We are not kids here and you should know that. Moreover, someone like me can never give you free hand to make contradictory comments without rigorous challenge. If you erroneously believe that you have higher IQ than most of us here. Then you are free to ego-trip. The rest of your comments are not contributory to the argument and therefore not worthy of my response. |
aribisala0: Well I have not expressed any opinion about Igbos.Where in his comment did he implicitly or explicitly accuse u of expressing opinion about Igbos? You see that u are the problem here. You are pointing one finger at someone, while four fingers are pointing back at u. Wetin concern Gov. Peter Obi, T. Orji and Prof. Chinua Achebe here? Why go ahead and generalize that every Igbos has 'bunker mentality'? Youruba claims that they are the most educated tribe in Nigeria. Have they presented any 'concrete data' to support it? Yoruba claims that Lagos was built with proceeds from cocoa. Have they supported it with 'concrete data'? How many bogus Yoruba claims have they supported with 'concrete data'? Finally, must you condescend to make your point? ![]() |
