The only thing i have noticed for sure is that fuel caps on most cars is place on the opposite side of the exhaust muffler. The exception is for cars with a transverse muffler and others with dual exhaust.

Even on cars with transverse muffler, the exhaust pipe to the muffler will be on the side of the car opposite the ⛽

Yes, most Japanese cars have ⛽ in the left and most german cars in the left but its not strictly true. There are exceptions.

That’s great, then you can have your chats back with no problems. Its an easy process but you will lose the recent chats on the new device.

Please Follow these steps with your wi-fi turned on :

1. Move your account back to the old phone:
when you try to access whatsapp on the old phone, it’ll automatically ask you to “verify this phone” just follow the prompts and steps and it will move your whatsapp account back to your old phone ( no need to swap the sim since you have wi-fi connectivity, just make sure the number is switched on so that you can receive the whatsapp confirmation code)

2. Create a chat backup on old phone :
Now that you have your whatsapp account back on the old phone, create a backup by going to : settings-->  chat backup --> Backup (see attached pictures) tap on the green backup button to instantly backup your chat history to google drive. It doesn’t matter if you’ve never used google drive before, as long as you have a google account linked to your phone (which of course every android owner does).
Ensure that the backup is completed successfully.

3. Uninstall Whatsapp on the New device:
this is necessary because it is only during a fresh install that Whatsapp can prompt or allow you to restore chats from a previously done backup

4. Reinstall Whatsapp on New Device and Restore Chat Backup:
Now that your chat is backed up to google drive via the old device, you may proceed to re-install whatsapp on your new device and follow the normal process of registering. Somewhere during the installation process, Whatsapp will ask if you would like to “Restore backup” respond in the affirmative and your chat backup should be restored on the new device, along with whatsapp pictures and other whatsapp media files

Since you did a direct phone swap , I’m assuming the google account you have on both the new and old device is the same.

The problem I have is that the Chat backup is never successful when I tried even before I swapped the phone, I dont know why. So this step can never be accomplished.
That is why I thought that I can just directly copy the database from the WhatsApp folders from the old phone to the new phone and everything will be good. But that did not solve the problem.
So now I am thinking the chat database on the old phone is corrupted but was still working.
So all the steps you mentioned have been tried... I guess I will just continue with the new chats to restore my sanity. Oh well.

No worries, there is an easy way to restore even without google drive.

On the old phone, go to Files Manager - All files - Phone storage - Whatsapp - Databases - msgstore.db.crypt12

That file is your most recent backup.

Transfer either the file or the whole whatsapp folder to your new phone "phone storage" not sd card or any other. Whatsapp will find the backup when you are processing registration.

Note that, you cant log your whatspp on 2 phones at the same time. Since it seems you have already registered ur new device on whatsapp, so you need to go to settings - apps - whatsapp - clear data on the new phone to log that phone out then re-register. It willfind the back up. Also, the new phone will have a backup of new chats. You have to choose between your new back up or the old one and use the one you choose. You can also move the new one out of that databases folder to keep the chats as record. I have no idea about combining both if at all that is possible.

During registration, make sure you select the right option to search for backup.

Clear data or uninstalling the app does not delete databases. If one backup is corrupted, an older backup with a date on it may work instead. All you need to do is delete the date part and it becomes the current backup.

I dont think you get my point. Yes am a civil engineer, as per designs, no one is my boss. If i am contracted by an architect to carry out a design, no architect supervises, vets nor approves me. An architect submits his whole design to me and after the design is submitted to him, he checks to see if i have altered his design. Dont forget, its my name, seal and signature that is on the drawing not the architect's. I submit drawings signed and sealed. Any change he wants must carry my seal. So he is not my boss.

Do you know a lot of engineering firms refused the design of burg el arab and some of them among the best in the world, even better than the one that made the design. The architect nominated to engineers for the job but they all declined.

A good engineer chooses his jobs and does not take the architectural design whole line and sinker. My reputation is worth more than one architects contract sum.

Lastly, contractually, i have to perform structural design that is completely symmetrical to the architectural design. It cant be different. I only consult the architect to reconsider his design when i have the opinion that limits me to certify my design safe. That limit also includes my knowledge, so i dont seal what i cant vouch for. It is also not my job to alter architectural plans because they are sealed by the architect. We both have to work together and reach a compromise. A compromise was reached several times in the design of burg el arab. Left to the architect, he wants to build a superstructure without a foundation. Bring that design and i tell you i wont touch it. We saw what the architect did during d burj al arab hotel construction, so many things weren't possible with the structural engr initially, but with the insistence of the architect, they achieved it enventually. That is the kind of supervision i was talking about, not doing the engr job for him.

The architect is the head of the building team stem from the mother to baby thing, without the architect idea & thinking, what will the engr or builder work on? They conceive the idea, they start the process, birth the design, thereafter all other professionals come in. It doesn't always go down well with other professionals. But it is the truth when it comes to building.

That is not supervision. During structural design, the engr must keep a close relationship with the architect to harmonize the architectural and structural designs. This happens in cases like Burg el Arab like you mentioned. The structural core of the building takes space, the architect must provide space in his design without altering the concept of the architect. With this point, they work together to achieve a unique design that would satisfy both professions.

In the case of burg el Arab, the structural engineer was not a staff but an independent company with a team of engrs contracted to design the building. Who would you say was the boss?

Let me add that, during structural design, the structural engr does not alter the architectural design and does inform the architect if he has to. It is in the interest of the architectural design that the structural engr works so he preserves that interest as best as he can be allowed to by principle of structural design.

A civil/structural engineer signs an undertaking. I have not heard where an architect or builder signs anything as such.

An engineer who values his career must supervise the construction either himself or by his trusted employee.

My point is if the civil engr signs responsibility for the structural integrity of the structure, how is the architect his boss? The truth is the engr is his own man and takes responsibility of his own design and also the construction.

It is only an assumed responsibility that the architect is the overall boss on a site.

In a proper building construction site, client is the boss. The arch, engr and builder have their responsibilities separated and one is not boss over the other. They all share ideas to bring reality into the client's wishes.

Please make sure the 2 dont come close to each other. It will be worst than not having lightening protection at all.

For example, an item that normally goes for 30k Jumia will announce a price slash from 45k to 29.5k. A N500 discount is not interesting at all. Besides one has to pay more on delivery and now no option of pay on delivery.

I have checked Nigerite range of Kalsi ceil ceiling boards which are similar but not same colour or pattern. I wonder what this actually is. I also want to know the company producing it, its durability and market value.

One major issue i find with most buys of ignorant buyers is listening for engine noise, either crankshaft or camshaft.

The noise cannot be masked on cold start but when its hot, it tends to be quiet especially on idle.

That was when i realized it wasnt the refinery we were heading to but a construction site of a fertilizer plant. Another hr went by before she was called for interview in a general office by a young expatriate South Korean. When it was my turn, the guy seem like i shouldnt be there. He checked my cv over and over again without speaking much. His first question was how did i get here from Abj, i told him by flight and would return same way. He dropped my cv and began a casual gist, asking about my family status and why i wanted to leave my current employer for them. I knew the job wasnt mine, since it was obvious they needed a trainee and certainly not one who travels by air.

During lunch, we had a chat with one staff who took us to their canteen, i asked him about the pay but he wanted to know my current pay, when i told him, he said this job is not meant for me. They still sent us for medicals and we left thereafter. She was called in a week but i never got nor expected their call and was not going to go even if they called.

It wasnt cool how we waited trekked for an hr while dressed for an interview that turned out to be a contruction coy. I was soaked with sweat from the humidity of PH, that alone made me reject the offer even before the interview took place.
