I need advice on which brand of building electrical wire to buy. Basically, 1.5mm, 2.5mm and 4mm.

My understanding is that Nocaco is the best but not so affordable. Others i see quite often are Dante, Coleman, Kablemetal, Purechem and Nigerchin. I want to use one in this group though Dante seem to be cheapest, from experience cheap may not be so bad. So i need advise based on experience.

Let me ask a question about the tracking device.

I bought my car Naija used with a tracking device i never used. Thats because the seller gave me the instructions and tracking number written with 2 digits skipped. I was told the 2 digits verbally but even a call to the number never went through. Fast forward to 2 days ago after about 3 years, i called the number and it rang with no answer. The number flashed me back an hour later. I didnt bother to reply the call. Its obvious it has been reallocated.

The only visible thing i see is the audio mic. I have never traced it to the tracker but may do. If i do, can i change the sim and possibly get it back to function? My car has never been immobilized by it.

Could be the intake resonator (kazeem call it air box) that is disconnected or removed.

However, its not a problem if you buy oem ball joint or even oem tokumbo.

Infact the 2009 should have less less of this ball joint issue because its own ball joint is way bigger to the previous ones. I have used my EoD for almost 5yrs now without changing this ball. My friends 08 accord has not shown sign of this ball joint for almost 3yrs now.

Those who do have problems i believe is from buying non oem new replacement part which is often substandard.

Please can I use a 1kva stabilizer with a 1.2kva Inverter system? As the voltage in my area fluctuates and I don't think the mercury modified wave Inverter I'm using has inbuilt AVR.

I think you can under certain conditions. Make sure you have a good supply say 160v. 100v will work but the stabilizer may over heat if nepa voltage is low and inverter load is max.

I have same inverter and use 1kva stab. It works well till voltage gets to less than 100v while carying many load especially during bulk charging.

Lets do some approximate calculations.

Say you are using a 12v 200Ah battery, this inverter uses 20A for charging 200Ah battery.

Power = Current x Voltage = 20 x 12 = 240w

Therefore during bulk charging, the inverter will draw 240w.

In addition, all appliances plugged to the inverter on line bypass during charging will still be on stabilizer. The 1200va Mercury inverter is rated 720w or so (not very sure). The limit to the load you can have on that inverter is that so you cant got more.

This brings our total stabilizer load to 720+240=960w.

A 1kva stabilizer with power factor of 1 will carry the load. But most are not. I will say more like 0.9. So most 1kva stabilizer will safely carry 900w.

But you shouldnt load your inverter to maximum, so 620 would be the safest maximum. 620+240=860w.

860w inverter max load is less than 900w stabilizer max load.

With this, you will be safe. Like i said from begining low voltage reduces power factor so your stabilizer will start to heat up as voltage goes down from 220v.

Did some research after my post. Its so unfortunate Toyota didnt do somethings in some cars including yours.

For example, all Honda Accords from 1998 and Civic from 2002 had immobiliser systems with transponder keys. This meant stealing them was a little tad difficult.

I remember my Dads 1998 Mazda 323f that was immobilized when a mechanic tampered with it. The car is still giving problems till today because of it.

Unfortunately, it seems Toyota didnt embrace the immobiliser on Corolla until 2005. Little wonder your type of car has been a honey pot for car theives. I assumed for a 2003 Toyota it should have had immobiliser but the research shows otherwise. Its possible yours had, you should know if you had by a sticker on any of your window. Without it, a car can be hot wired in seconds.

I hope you were not fond of leaving your car at the mechanic. Am sure the way your car was clean was why it was stolen. You were probably tracked for sometime.

These are just lessons for next time. I pray police are able to find it.

If you want to tame your sister, make her tell you about all her toasters to the last detail. You will have to do that by doing same.

Take her to the club yourself teach her the limits by observing the limits yourself. If you have a girlfriend, you cant tell her not to have a boyfriend too. Teach her how to select a boyfriend instead.

I have been married for a year and half. I thought hubby and i have been living happily and i would've swore he was faithful. A few days ago i saw that a random lady messaged him on Facebook and they got talking. I was shocked at first to see that he was chatting her up. Fast forward to yesterday I checked his phone and saw that himself and the lady had more conversation and what started as facebook chat had progressed from phone calls to whatsapp chat. The content of their chat seems they were eventually planning to hook up.

Hubby and I pray together and are looking towards a very bright future together, this is not something i really saw coming from him. I am very troubled in my heart and pregnant for our first baby. He dozent feel any atom of pity that the whole issue might cause me problems and I have been wondering what has come over him. I am 100 percent faithful to my hubby and want the union to work out. My wife caught me 3 weeks ago with a chat worst than your hubby's. We called ourselves so many endearing names like bae, baby, love etc.

How can my wife ever know that the kind of relationship she saw on the chat doesnot exist or doesn't translate to a physical emotion? I was just playing along and we live in different states.

My wife saw that joke too but never knew its a joke. No one will know its a joke, he was pulling my legs. He even sent a random pic of a beautiful girl.

There is another story of a girl i asked to send her account details but wont bore you with more stories.

Sometimes, you will never understand the context of the chat or the thought process of someone during the chat. Its better to stay off.

Firstly, i didnt see a battery among the list.

Secondly, this is very useful in offgrid applications say your village where there is no grid electricity (Nepa). This brings us back to the location you wish to use it. If you have 10hrs supply of electricity in a day in your area, then this starter pack is no right for you. What you need is a grid tie set up.

Thirdly, a battery will cost as much as this starter pack or even more. The best is to get a battery plus a grid tie inverter which you can still use with generator for emergencies. This starter pack should come later as an add on to reduce your electricity bill.

Also possible that the hand brak switch is bad or the hand brake is not adjusted well.

You should have 'Brake' displayed on your instrument panel.

It was the hitting by a trailer on the pillar that caused the overhead to shift and the subsequent crack. If not tell me what could have made it to shift. Wind? Let us use our commonsense at times. It is a standard project that's why it is still standing.

A failing foundation can cause that.

Secondly, it doesnot look like a truck hit. From my analysis, if we were driving on the right, then a hit can be said to be a likely cause. The geometry of the shift doesnot corresponding to the direction a truck driving on the left drivers side orientation would cause. What am talking about is the lane. Its either the right side of the bridge shifted backwards or the left side shift farwards. This is against the corresponding traffic on both lanes so i can rule a truck hit out of the likely causes. Unless the truck hit by going wrong lane.
