My friend he didn't plan his life as Jim Iyke, he started the comparison first. The benchmark here is Jim Iyke no the OP, cos the former does not have time posting on NL. The OP is nobody at 28 and thinks that the only thing he has going for him are his kids.
I know of many folks having kids in their 20's but I don't know many folks who are as successful as Jim. Aboki around my house is in his 20's and has 4 kids while I'm looking for someone who is his 40's , rich, successful and famous as Jim Iyke... they are hard to find. Truth be told: most women would agree to marry Jim Iyke at his age than the OP. Jim will have it easier with the finest sexy and most accomplished women than the OP.

Puvguy: In a man's life, there are 2 phase of achievements: A successful career and a well managed immediate family. Jim Iyke is a successful man. Also the young man with 2 kids is a successful man regardless of his financial status, if he can keeps his family healthy and happy.

Having 2 kids is no achievement ma fren! Planning and organizing a guaranteed future for your kid are better than having kids while u plan along. It's this God is the ultimate provider mentality that has kept Naija stagnated. So many kids are born and not cared for.. all in the name of being a family person. Folks like the 28yr old don't think that it's OK to plan the future of our kids before we pull out mandigos. Equating having kids to success is medieval thinking!

Romantic love is the most selfish thing. Love is in consideration for something......its not free and never will be.You can only love that person if he/she has most of the qualities you are looking for. It's like marketing..3ps. place, price, product. All these things must fall in place before a buyer pays,so is romantic love. most of the desirable traits must fall in place before we can settle. This we do in order to protect our selfish interest. So falling in love involves protecting one's interests; expanding those interests and gaining more ground. Yes, my best friend is going through divorce all because he wanted his wife, mil and in laws to see and love him as their son. He built a house at his wife's villa without building in his dad's. he would do the laundry, pay 80% of the bill. accommodated MIL for 10yrs. He would appologise for peace to reign. Everything changed when he insisted that MIL had overstayed and must be gone.his MIL has other sons who do not live far from them, but they never took her to doctors' appointments, check up and senior services. Many parents send their wards to Private schools not because they're wealthy but because it seems to be a better option due to the epileptic Educational system offered by the Govt. Nobody wishes to waste so much money on less when they can get more quality by spending much less.

More money does not equal quality. $10k can pay tuition in some US schools. It can also pay tuition and boarding in some RSA schools with better faculty, facilities and exposure. RSA universities are way ranked above Naija federal universities let alone private universities. They rich are always overcharged in Naija for leaving behind a corrupt and inefficient system.

Most are still looking for men to pay the bill and take care of them.if a man is paying most if not all the bills, he can help with chores if he so pleases. We cannot have it both ways. I received the most embarrasing call of my life #days back at about 10pm when a lady called me to stay off her marriage and if not, she knows all my details on where I school and would come haunt me down and am like what the heck again? Easy way to spot married men, they are mostly richer than single guys . Very few single guys can take u shopping and look the other way while u shop till u drop. Not many single guys can afford to take to an expensive restaurant treat you and ur friends without complaining about a fat bill. Not many single guys can dash 50k when they are not ready to go and see ur mama. Single guys spend far less money than married; they might want a relationship, but married men only want ur puissy. Single guys are not shiny and spendthrift, but married men are. If you are looking for a single guy who's going to pay for a good lifestyle you missed during ur childhood and teenage years, because ur parents could afford it, then married is around the corner. Singles are moderate in their spending and are impressed when gfs encourage them to spend wisely. Married men get girls because they know that the only thing they crave for is to be spoilt with money.
