Family / Re: Neglect Of The Boy Child: We Need To Speak Up by AdedoyinO(f): 5:28pm On Nov 25, 2021 |
I am an advocate for the boy child but I hate the narrative that women are responsible for whatever the boy child is going through. The OP for instance has blamed mothers for failing to speak up for the boy child (that a lie though because as far as I know, at least in Africa, mothers generally pamper their sons than their daughters). The feminist movements and the advocatefor the right of the girl child were championed by women and mothers not men. So that begs the question why haven't men and fathers began to speak and fight for the right of the boy child? You are waiting for women to do that on behalf of silent men abi? In the long run, both gender face issues but while one is vocal and expressive about her challenges, the other decides to be egoistic and macho about his and yet turn around to blame the other gender for his woes. Anyways, there are not for profit organizations in Nigeria that are exclusively for the right of the boy child. One is Boys Quarters Africa, and thankfully the founder is a young man who has decided to do something about the peculiar issues of his gender, and not wait for girl rights advocates to change their agenda. 1 Like 1 Share |
Romance / Re: My Fiancé Wants To Call It A Quit Because I Don't Relate With His Siblings by AdedoyinO(f): 12:02pm On Nov 16, 2021 |
Lollittaa: Being introverted doesn't mean you don't talk. Many introverts run businesses and careers successfully. The issue is as an introvert you don't jump into people's personal spaces just like that. Discussion with people you are not close with is usually superficial and mostly nothing personal. For an introvert to build close personal relationship with a person, that person must have been around mostly physically (within the same geographical space) like classmates, co-workers, housemates, roommates etc. Someone they see almost everyday and spend considerable amount of time with. In this kind of situation, the introvert naturally warms up to closer and deeper relationships beyond the 'hello, hi'. When people come together newly as in when you have new classmates, the extroverts and the introverts among them are easily spotted, but overtime within the same class, most of them will start relating with one another freely 4 Likes |

It's also because for many couples, the real marriage has ended due to issues like infidelity, domestic violence and other unpleasant situations, and Parenting is the only thing left keeping them together under the same roof. That's when women will say in Yoruba, 'o ti kuro l'ọkọ, o ti di baba ọmọ. i.e 'he's no more husband, he's just the father of my children'. 2 Likes 1 Share |

As a public office holder, he is required to declare his assets both local and foreign publicly and do so regularly. If he is indeed the ownerof the said property, documents would have surfaced online to prove so but till now nothing. Just this evil minded rumour mongers like you that are bent on tarnishing another man's image. Family / Re: I’m Pregnant With Twins And The Father Doesn’t Want Them. by AdedoyinO(f): 6:56pm On Nov 04, 2021 |
Evangelynn: Do these developed countries hold the standard code on how the human race should run? Are there no social issues they are battling with despite their development or are you saying they have an utopian society? Even so, there are a whole lot of them from these countries who are against abortion and are pro-life, their governments legalized abortion (just like many other issues we frown at are legal over there). Abortion is deliberately killing and terminating a pregnancy that otherwise would have been successful. The heart of an embryo starts beating with blood cells formed as early as week 5 of gestation (about a week after your missed period) when most women are not even aware that they are pregnant. If that pregnancy progresses, and is successful, the heart that started beating at 5wks may continue to beat till the child becomes an old person; and by then that heart can stop beating, not by a decision between the mother and her doctor. Abortion may be recommended in situations where the pregnancy threatens the life of the mother or if the feotus formed may have major health issues if allowed to live. Not for every Tom, Dick, Harry kind of reasons. We should rather encourage people to be responsible with their sexuality. It is not just about unwanted pregnancies, it is also about STDs some of which are life long. You can't keep making innocent fetuses pay for the irresponsibilities of their mothers (or parents). If a lady thinks about her own life and how she's not capable of handling a baby now, she should rather opts for safe sex that will also prevent pregnancy. Contraceptives: physical, hormonal, whatever; just don't make a baby's heart start beating and then end it at will just because it's your body and your government supports you. If there's a baby around you, look at him or her and imagine that child had been killed in the womb and taken out because the mum is pro choice. Now imagine op stopping two heart beats because of the challenges she facing now. Enuf said. 2 Likes |

What sort of pálapàla did I just read up there? Awori, Bini, Bawo? Aworis are fully Yoruba and there's no iota of Dahomey or Benin, Bini in them. That other Yoruba groups are the majority holding the Lagos political space should be blamed on the Aworis not being politically savvy. Then we have the Eguns and Ijebus also as indigenes in Lagos state I am still looking for where Binis are claiming as their territory in Lagos. Awọn history twisters oshi. 2 Likes |

Religion / Re: Man Invites Reno Omokri To Join Islam. He Reacts by AdedoyinO(f): 10:48am On May 20, 2021 |
Jesuschristus: Not here to argue, but here is your answer. 1. First of all God is a Spirit. Joh 4:24 KJV God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. 2. Jesus Christ came in human form as God in flesh (if you believe God can do anything, and nothing is impossible for Him, this should not be difficult for you to believe) Rom 8:3 KJV For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh 3. Everything you highlight were done to Jesus' body (i.e flesh) not His Spirit which in essence is God. Remember, His conception was by God's Spirit not by human sperm. His body was formed within Mary. Jesus is the Seed of the woman (not seed of man) prophesied in the book of Genesis to bruise the head of the serpent). 4. So, Jesus has a different kind of Spirit from every human conceived through human copulation. He had God's Spirit (in His body) and we have human spirit. 5. So all that was done to Him including His crucifixion was on His flesh. His Spirit, God's Spirit was alive and well and being God. 6. About His resurrection, He is God, death could not hold Him down. He rose up, not in a corruptible, decaying body like ours but in an incorruptible spiritual body. 1Corith 15: 42-47. 2 Likes |

A perfect definition of 'Community Penis'. This is just the teaser, the main show starts when you guys final gets married. How do you love another woman in your matrimonial bed and you can't do shit about it because you knew exactly what you were signing up for? Or what about you being scared to have maids or female visitors, related and unrelated because your hubby always follows the direction of his erection? I fear for your daughters too (God forbids). What about him hitting on young girls in your estate or area where you'll live? Sis, the scenarios are endless. If you don't mind, you can tie the nupital knot with him. And his parents that have come to beg you today may also come to beg you tomorrow to accept pregnant side chick. A time will come, they will tell you your wahala is too much if you begin to complain about his cheating. As you have been told already by the mum, 'all men cheat'. He is selfish, thinking of himself alone. Ask him if he wouldn't mind you playing some away games too, as no gender has the monopoly of cheating. How does his cheating benefit you? Or you are ready to sacrifice your joy and peace to maintain relationships with him? Remember, you are not just going to have him as your husband, he'll also be the father of your children. Think am well o. And to the many morally weak men on this thread justifying cheating men, I hope you don't mind your daughters and sisters ending up with men like you. I pray you all receive the taste of your own medicine 5 Likes |

tyup: I pray all the females in your life get to know about this your stance and belief so they'll know how to relate with you, what to expect from you, and what they can do for you based on your gender. The females I am referring to includes your mum, sisters, aunties, girlfriends, your wife(or wives), your female colleagues and your daughters. The funny thing is another female will get the opportunity you have denied your female friends because about 70 to 80 percent of nurses are women. How do you think your friends will feel if they get to know you denied them an opportunity just because of their gender? They'll continue to be friends with you? I am sure you don't care about that. You care about females not been helped by men because they are 'whores'. Continue to let the vague stories you read on social media influence your decisions and life. 3 Likes |
