This is in relation to medical inadmissibility. I do appreciate all the responses but I have another query

In this case, would a divorce or legal separation enable the principal applicant to obtain PR? should i simply send a CSE to immigration office for change of marital status and ask for the removal of the spouse even before the fairness letter is issued.
And if the notification of removal of spouse is done after receiving the refusal letter, does the principal applicant has to re-apply again or simply update the marital status

I need answers to the best course of action. We both stay in different countries though
The CSE may work if you are able to get the divorce/separation papers on time, but as I've read on this forum, its a lengthy process and may drag out especially if your spouse refuses to cooperate.
For the 2nd part, once there is a refusal its either you appeal or re-apply. Read on Canada visa that the appeal process could be a long thing,so best bet might be to reapply if your point is high enough for an ITA.

Thank you for sharing this. but like i specified earlier, I am totally self employed. Apart from Financial reports all these years, i never worked for any company aside being consulted on different Jobs or freelance. so i have no documents to show for that.
OK na, I pray you don't fall into the hands of an agent that would cause you 5-10years ban.

According to the third quarter calendar posted above it is on the 15/06/2017. It means you will have to go to your bank between 12-13/06 to make the request if you intend to go for primary market. However, if you wish to buy through secondary market you can check the bank weekday. I was with FBN and was told that rates for secondary market comes every morning. Today's rate mayb different from tomorrow so you just have to go and confirm for yourself any day you are ready. They had different rates for different tenure. If you intend to liquidate before maturity you stand the change of loosing part of your expected principal as the interest was already paid upfront.
Thanks wld check FBN on Monday

from my experience - i used both FD bank statements (not all my accounts cos the documents was to large and the least it could reduce up to was 6mb to still make sense- otherwise it wont be legible) - The letter from the bank was quite difficult and it may need you to escalate it to their manager or speak with your account officer. For my GTB account - the letter was quite impressive and the only information it did not have was the indemnity part which was issued using a separate letter - all bank balance was stated - date of opening was stated - average balance can be seen in the statement of account. The best way to request your reference letter from the bank is to go formal with them - i wrote a formal letter detailing info i wanted. Same thing for my other banks. Try as much as possible to get reference letter from the bank biko.
@ GTB..Current or savings account?

Thanks for your response. The 2nd is the case. CIC states that unaccompanying minors or spouse must also do medicals. In this case the child won't be doing medicals to support their applicant. He wouldn't have mentioned the child if not that he has "Single with child" on his marriage certificate, you get?

After capturing the child's details that he has, he should state in the LOE that he is unable to perform medicals for the child due to the estranged nature of the relationship with the child's mother. This is an extenuating circumstance where the review officer will advise him of next steps directly at the appropriate time. It is not a reason for him not move on with his life, hope you understand. Let him do what he can and he will cross the bridge in due time.
Thank you !

Is it that he wants to add the child to his EE application and to take the child with him to Canada or that he just wants to be on the record that he declared he has a child but she is non-accompanying? You need to be clear on what they want.

If it is that he wants to add the child to his application so he can take her to Canada, then he first has to locate the mum and reason with her failing which he has to go to family court and file for custody. There is no guarantee he will get custody especially considering the age of the child where court prefer to grant custody to mothers due to the young age. It may be better to just locate the child, begin contributing to the child upkeep and try for joint custody when she is older.

If it is that he wants to just let the VO know he has a child, he can list the details he knows, (name of mother, name of child, date of birth etc) and use a letter of explanation to explain the situation that he has a child but is not in touch with the mum who has elected to keep the child away. Don't try to bad mouth the mum, just be civil in your explanation and submit with your application. Hope these address your enquiry.[/quote..

GTB is so messed up. If you have an alternative please don't keep your POF in GTB, they are claiming they give no reference letter whatsoever for savings account. So pissed off! Seems I'll have to make do with just my statement of account.

Hello All,

Please is there anyone living in Halifax, Nova Scotia? I'll be landing in July so I'm hoping to get tips on accommodation and employment. Thanks
Only thing I know about Halifax is that rents starts counting from the 1st of the month regardless of when you move in. So it'll be good to land close to the end of the month, sort accommodation and move in 1st week of the new month.I have a colleague there, says its really beautiful, calm and not so expensive.

Hi. Sorry to jump in like this but i would like to know if you had to take your kids with you for all the registration and picking up cards or one person can do it on behalf of all.

What age can kids start proper school? Can they go to just any school or it has to be around where you live? If your kid is young for a class will he still continue in the class he was in Nigeria or will they step him down? Can one get part time whilst getting more certifications? Thanks a lot.
In some provinces, school starts fully at age 4 and in some others 5.
Yes they step children down, they are put in classes strictly on the basis of their ages.

Well done Salmon! Doing a great job! Seems I'm tilting towards Regina. Please how's Regina as compared to Calgary...cost of living wise and the weather? Which areas in Regina can be termed highbrow? And which areas are good middle class? I read the crime rate is on the high side, true? Which areas are"safe"?

guys, please has anyone here used ETX-NG to process transcripts from his or her institution to be sent to IQAS or WES?

I need to know if they are reliable and their delivery time.
I used them and they delivered. But it depends on your school, if the transcript staff are lazy and tip requesting,it'll be a long thing. However,If they are official and hard working it'll go through in no time.

Dear All,

Thanks for the fantastic job you all are doing.

My wife is the primary applicant for the FSW application. I want to find out if it we require 2 separate WES accounts for our certificate verification.

She will be verifying her MBA from OAU while I will be verifying my MA for a United States University (I understand we should be verifying our highest levels of education - I hope this is true). Please advise.

Thank you.
You need 2 seperate accounts. Yes, your highest degree is cool.

Help Help Help
I got an ITA last month and since then have had mixed feelings whether to accept it or decline cos noticed errror in my express application after I got an ita
Firstly, My wife stated in her work experience that she's self employed in poultry and this a business that she dose behind the house and sells to final consumer. The business is not even registered, now i have read that accompanying spouse will also prove their work experience even doh no crs point has been awarded for this. She can't even meet up with cic self employment requirement.
Secondly she stated in her application that she has a relative in Canada who's her cousin but she chose aunt. Now all the documents she and her sister has to tender will only prove she's her cousin not aunt. Will this not amount to a misrepresentation? Or can we remove this from our application after an ITA has been received. I recalculated my point and i noticed nothing has changed cos they didn't even ask questions concerning relative in Canada or wife's work experience.
Please advice
Not really a problem but to prevent high bp during the wait period, just open another EE profile with another Email, once you get ITA on the new one, you decline the old.

Bro,

I can confirm to you that you can actually use your soft copy for WES. I did the same and I never had any problem. Besides, all CIC need is the reference number on your ECA, the one you fill in your application, they do the confirmation themselves. Its in cases in which they are unable to confirm that they usually issue ADRs.

Point is you can use your soft copy as long as its authentic.

Hmmm that's a first. Pls what stage are you? Gotten PPR yet?
