That's a bit dicey. The listening and reading components are not subjective.So its either you are right or wrong,and I don't think the markers could make such mistakes. But never say never,no one is beyond mistakes, and a marker may have inadvertently mixed up the nos . So if you feel u did very well in listening ask for a re-mark. Nothing is cast in stone.

I am also new to the Canada Immigration Process and I have quite a number of questions. I am waiting for my WES evaluation and in the meantime, I calculated my CRS score using an online tool. To my surprise it came back with a total of 393. I strongly believe I haven't input all the details required and probably missed a chunk of my points. Can anyone help with a rough estimate of my CRS score? Below is a summary of my details;

IELTS Results; S-8.5, R-8.5, L-8.5, W-6.5. Total Band Score = 8
Highest Degree qualification - MSc.
5 years work experience in Engineering/oil & gas
No family or relatives in Canada
Single
Age 34
No Canadian job offer (yet)

I got 2 email messages from WES on June 7 that the photocopies of my documents have been sent to my institutions for verification but up till now, they are yet to receive them. How can I track the packages, though they were not sent by Int'l courier. I guess they used Canada Post to send them. Does it really take longer time like this? Please EPP your bro cos my IELTS results would be ready tomorrow and I wan enta pool asap!

Just other documents to validate the gift. In my case my mom gave the the money so she wrote a letter stating that she is my mom and she is giving me the money as a show of love and she is not expecting it to be returned.

LoL a. Deed of gift is one of the easiest things a Barrister can do for you. Just make sure you supply all necessary info and review the document when it's ready before you append your signature and those of ur witnesses.
However the cost may not be "easy"

I really want to thank every single person that took their precious time to reply me, God bless you all. Also I just discovered this thread and just from last night to this morning I have gained a lot from you all. All the while I never thought of my issue as a Major One, all I was more worried about was the change of travel intent within 1week from my last week application that was denied (vacation for 2weeks) to this new present one I am reapplying for that's (child birth 12weeks) was just SCARED that the VO might deny me based on that sudden travel change.

I wasn't given during first delivery here in 9ja cos blood group was showing AB+ only for me to do another test during this pregy n my obgyn said it's AB-. I've done the test like 6times n it's still -ve so I'm really concerned cos my doc isn't sure if I was given during the last delivery. So since I'm planin on delivering in us that's y I want to knw if they do charge for it separately.

1. No, it is even advisable you initiate evaluation of your credential alongside your IELTS
2. It must be sent directly from the institution
3. In fact, evaluating only your MSc. will suffice
4. Different surnames do not matter. I used my maiden name and it did not matter. However, it will be better if all the documents you will be submitting have the same name. For instance, is your bank account still in your maiden name?
