Yes it can. The car specification was reviewed a couple of months back ..any 4 door car, 2006 to date now qualifies.

Here is to both share my testimony and also encourage someone that's indecisive.
Like I've stated somewhere on earlier on the thread, I wrote my IELTS on the 4th of June with the following result
L 8.5
R 8.5
W 6
S 7
I went for the result on the 20th of June & I didn't even bother to take it out refusing, rejecting and submitting for EOR, Long story short, 7weeks on, today I got my reply with the following result
L 8.5
R 8.5
W 8
S 7. My speaking was not increased but I forgive them TWO (2) whole band review on my writing.
So here's my big thanks to all those that shared link for IELTS prep way back. iphie28 (sorry if I miss the figure) et all, now I can boldly say THANK YOU & GOD BLESS YOU

Its just that the transcript request for my school (UK) is an online process with no option for uploading any document. I think I will just contact the school directly and see how they can help out with that.

One more thing am yet to understand about Fixed Deposit as POF.

I can't afford to put $15,143 (N4,600,000) in fixed deposit for six months. Can I just fix it for three or two months and get the certificate? Will the number of months be on the certificate or does CIC contact the bank for verification?

Please this money issue is a big headache as am not that buoyant financially.

Nope, play around with the CRS website you quoted to understand how your IELTS scores can affect your overall crs mark. You need 8.5,8,7.5,7.5 in LRS&W resp. Or @ least 8777 in LRSW

My brother,you need that 0.5 like kilode! That 0.5 took you from band 9to 8 with a concomitant 60 marks reduction in your CRS score. If you were about 40 years,the 60 marks wouldn't matter because even with that you'll still need to tour the provincial nomination route to get adequate points.

I want to begin the PR process with my husband and wanted to clarify a few things that were not very explicit to me as i read the thread.
I am a doctor with a Masters degree from a US institution. Currently practice with my Masters degree. and have about 8 years post-first degree and 3 years post Masters experience. '
My hubby has a BSc degree with about 10yrs experience but has other IT certifications. He's 38 and im 32.
My questions are:
1. who is better placed to be the primary applicant?
2.can we both apply individually (i.e submit 2 applications) to improve our chances of selection?
3. Do I need to evaluate my MBBS degree or only the Masters will suffice?
4. In general what is the best approach to gettingi a higher score and the ITA?

1. You,since you are younger wt a higher degree.
2. 'yes, i.e 2 applications with u as principal applicant in 1, and he in the 2nd.This helps in cases where only one of your occupations is on the list of a province (priority professions) that you wish to apply to
for nomination. E.g if sasks opens for PN and only your husband's profession is on their list. Even though your CRS score is higher, u wont be qualified to apply.It's in such cases the 2nd profile comes in handy.
3.Your masters should do but is your post Msc work experience in medicine or in your Msc field?
4.Ace IELTS,aim for 8.5,8,7.5,7.5 in LRSW.

If your 6.5 is either in writing or speaking, do you want to reconsider Enquiry on Result (remarking)

In that case book for another exam. But if I were in your shoes I would ask for a re-mark,except I feel I didn't do so well in writing.

I made enquiry at the bank yesterday and was told it's 283 naira to $1. Not sure i should take them for their word before they bill/charge me higher and I enter "one-chance".

Does anyone know of any currently open streams (province applications) apart from Manitoba on the EE platform. Im especially interested in Saskatoon bcz I have family there. Althlough its kinda scary to read here that its a bit complicated filling SINP.

Send the two degrees,it's safer. I know one can send masters alone,but not sure it's same for pgd. You could use either of the two. I used WES and I have no regrets. Someone mentioned IQAS being cheaper though.Whichever one you choose to use,send both degrees.

lol i'm sure i'm busier.Didn't mean you should go through the whole thread,just the page 0.The whole process is broken down there. Make I try breakdown the process.
1. Register for IELTS general training thru british council. Aim for 8.5, 8,7.5,7.5 in listening,reading,speaking and writing respectively. There is an ielts thread on nairaland,google it for more info.
2. Contact WES or IQAS to evaluate your degrees.
3. Enter the express entry pool...a draw is done on a biweekly basis. The higher your score,the greater your chances of being picked and invited to applyfor perm residency(ITA). I don try[ [size=8pt][/size]

Even for prov nomination you still need to be in the EE pool. If you don't intend rewriting ielts with the aim of scoring 8.5,8,7.5,7.5 or @ least 8,7,7,7 in L,R,S,W. Then your only option would be PN.
