Nigeria went through a terrible corrupt period where persons started making money illegally without anybody questioning them. In fact, when they drop fat money in the church, the pastor will pray for them and thank them. Pastors were preaching prosperity Gospel only, which led many to seek any way including illegal ways of making money.
And now the terrible monster has been born.
Nobody wants to work again as so many have made money without working. These are the Yahoo boys you see here and it is extremely difficult to convince them to stop.

I came across this thread on front page this morning https://www.nairaland.com/6588135/should-follow-mother's-advice where a lady sought advice on the type of man she should consider for marriage due to her uncertainty on an advice she got from her mother.

The thread got a lot of comments and a lot of guys and maybe some ladies lacerated her based on her will to consider a rich man over a struggling one. Though she didn't pass her message well due to her unabashed display of derogatory statements she made pertaining to her mother and her line of thought.

My mind also didn't agree with a lot of people in that thread thus I decide to bring my questions here. Please educate me as my brain is open like a thirty sponge about to receive some wathering.

My questions are these;

Was it wrong for her to consider a rich man over a struggling one even when she herself isn't reasonably rich as well? If yes why is it so?

Was her mother's advice sound and is it logical or not?

How often do women who remain with struggling men eventually end up with them later when they turn rich? Do you know any woman like that?

What would a woman be doing precisely if she chooses to struggle alongside a struggling guy?

Should a struggling guy be with a woman in the first place?

Should a woman be compelled to carry the mantle of a provider as well in the home? If she does, is she to still accord total respect and submission to her husband?

Please judge these questions according to your wisdom and give your replies. Thank you.

But God never called you to emulating Israel or anyone of the Israelites. He instructed you never to put your trust in any man, not bind yourself to flesh and blood in such a way as to make such your strength. God called you, a gentile, to emulating one and only one, Jesus Christ, the New Covenant Law, the agreement He made with you.

So why do you go around emulating those He did not call or bind you to?

God made that agreement with the Israelites, not you. The only agreement He made with you is Jesus Christ which does include a tithe Law. When you "add" a tithe Law of your own to the agreement, Jesus Christ, you nullify the power 0f God in your life(curse) and you also render your worship of God meaningless(curse).

16 times in the bible, the tithe was mandated by God to be only fruits, vegetables and clean animals; Never money, gold, silver, wages or anything else....Never.

NOWHERE in the bible did God ever transfer ownership of the tithe from the levit to any apostle, prophet, evangelist, shepherd(pastor/bishop), teacher, church, religious organisation or anyone else.

Exactly,but how can I really do this,I have honestly tried,Studying the scriptures, listening to messages and spiritual songs,and trying to engage my mind with good thoughts, which seems to be the most difficult. It is also not fair that the army is yet to comply with the FG's declaration of Boko Haram being technically defeated.
Our Attorney General should please pass a law that incriminates anyone; bank or individual who exchanges dollars above 1Naira.

Because the speed used in implementing one decree should be the same speed used in implementing other fictitious declarations.
