Pls, Seun, Slyr0x, adewasco2k do the needful. |
Vanessa225:There are other ways to advertise your hosting company without being criminal about it. I think you deserve a ban to serve as a deterrent to others. What nonsense. |
pcguru1:Same here. E don tey small. I kinda need to re-master it. |
That's probably the best way to do it but if you're recommending for Nigeria, then it won't make much difference as the selection by a judicial panel will definitely be influenced by the president. |
DukeNija:Wow, moodle has reared it's head again. I actually have a copy of moodle that i designed sometime ago. I can help you tweak it to suit our needs. |
The only question i have is "Does it fly"? If it doesn't fly then it's not an innovation. Aeroplaes are made to fly. The fact that it looks like an aeroplane does not make it one. |
ceejay4real:Can't you see Berlin on the list? I tbink they actually only used the leading business cities in the world as opposed to population that i posited earlier. |
Boyedex:LONDON, Sept. 06, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- London claims pole position for the second time in a row in a comprehensive benchmarking study of 30 leading business centres globally, boding well for its ability to withstand post–Brexit competition on a number of fronts. https://globenewswire.com/news-release/2016/09/06/869907/0/en/London-ranks-top-in-PwC-Cities-of-Opportunity-Index-followed-by-Singapore-and-Toronto.html Fulfilling human needs appears as a cornerstone of successful cities in the study—notable because our 30 cities are all business and economic centers http://www.pwc.com/us/en/cities-of-opportunity/finding-patterns.html Whatcha say now? |
Unimaginable123:Whether you like it or not, Lagos is a city and a highly urbanized one with a staggering population. So, based on that, it will make the cut most times, but will definitely score badly because it's nowhere as developed as any of those other cities. If a city like Abuja can make the cut, then it will rank better compared to Lagos. |
Actually, PWC is a London based multi-national, so it's understandable why London will come first. In other rankings, you would see New York on top and in others, you will see Paris leading. SO, it just depends on who is carrying out the findings. |
Bifwoli:That's because those cities were not included. I think they only used the 30 most populous cities in the world. |
Actually, only 30 cities were used in the finding, so don't make it seem like Lagos scored a point as Lagos came last among the 30 cities. It's better they don't include Lagos in these rankings than put it just for us to carry last as usual. |
spyder880:I've definitely been following your blog like twitter. Keep up the good work. |
The way we treat baby in these parts is deemed as harsh and wicked in other parts of the world. African mothers should wake up and wise up. |
What's the name of his website or business? I assume that someone who has been given an award for entrepreneurship should have an enterprise. The guy in the picture with him giving the award is even Kingsley Ogboso, the winner of the Next Movie Star reality show that Tonto Dike and Annie Macaulay took part in. |
I live in lagos and have visited Ibadan on several occasions, so i think i'm in a good position to compare both cities. I believe that any two cities in the world can be compared to each other. Even Ife can be compared to New York as it definitely will have something that will make it better than NY. It doesn't necessarily mean that one city is better than the other overall. It just means that, when considering some variables, one is better than the other and vice versa. Let me tackle you point one after the other. 1) One of the positive things people say about Ibadan is how affordable things are over there especially food and accommodation. Now, under no circumstance should you compare the cost of things in other Nigerian cities with what it obtained in Lagos and Abuja because these places don't have the kind of grandeur that you find in Lagos. The more developed (not urbanized) a place is, the more expensive things are bound to get. Ibadan for instance, is not cheaper than other urbanized (not developed) areas in Nigeria. Can someone prove to me that things are cheaper in Ibadan compared to Akure, Ado Ekiti, Abeokuta, Osogbo, Kaduna and Makurdi? The only reason why that of Ibadan usually stressed is because of how large the city is. Which takes me to your second point. 2) The term "The largest city in Sub-saharan Africa" not "Africa" is one that can just be used as bragging right and in no way makes it better than even a city that is one tenth it's size. So, a city been large just has a lot to do with landmass and nothing else. Actually, what i've said so far covers the other points you made. Like i said earlier, Ibadan thumps Lagos in some areas like you have pointed out but i can assure you that if Ibadan had the amount of business and human population that Lagos has, things will be just as expensive as Lagos. |
Please, make an attempt to format your article for better reading. This is an important topic. One which i'm interested in. |
CFCman:Only 29? I think she only can ascertain whether or not she's getting old. I know people marry even at 40 but it's her choice to make. If she thinks marriage is so important to her at this point that her choice has to be respected. Apparently, the guy doesn't want to enter a marriage where they will mostly depend on the lady's income. |
I wonder where we're going to in this country. She says she wants to marry now due to her age and you say you're not ready. So, why exactly did you open this thread again? Please, let her go and find someone that can wait for when you're ready. Her patience has run out. |
afrobaby:Yeah, I know. I've just being watching it at my own time for the past few years. |
Some people are just unbelievable. You want to travel to a place outside Africa with just 150k? Your question would have been in the line of "Where can i travel to without being detected?". |
Please, let's do something to help some of us who are looking for the best seasonal movies out there. It seems, there are too many films these days and choosing which one to watch has become a tall order. Let's list our top 10 or top 5 best seasonal movies with their respective genre, to make the job easier for us. Let me start: 1) 24 (Action) 2) Breaking Bad (Crime/Thriller) 3) The Walking Dead (Horror) 4) Devious Maid (Comedy/Drama) 5) Gotham (Crime) I'll be back with more. |
Abeg make we hear word. One minute you're saying one thing, another minute you're saying something else. The only thing consistent in your articles is the grammar you use to deceive people. Choose a stand and stand by it and stop moving wherever breeze puushes you to. |
Odkboy23:Gotham is something...I love watching series with characters such as Penguin. This villain is very likable. I'm in the 7th season of Castle which i have been watching for the past 4 years now and i have not stopped. I just like my crime series and Castle just seems to bring a twist even though most episodes follow a similar template. I just love it. |
It's good to see Nairaland regain it's number one spot that it lost sometime ago. However, i believe Nairaland's highest point was when it became the most visited site in Africa ahead of the Soutb African site. I wonder if it still holds that position. |
Nna, ke ife na eme na Enugu. This our new governor doesn't seem to be pulling weight like his predecessor. This thread is too dull for my liking. |
Why's her friend putting fire when the person involved has already lied about being photoshopped into the video. At least everyone who loves her would have stood behind that lame lie. I don't know if this her resend it intentionally trying to wreck her destiny. If it is, then it reinforces the typical behavior of Nigerian women who will pretend to care for someone when in actually fact, they want to bring the person down. Even in churches, you will hear something like: church, let us all stand up and pray for sister Chinyere, she has HIV. |
JingoOAU:Can't you see that his name is Rasheed? What's more Afghanistan than that? |
One of my most important domain name is due to expire next month and i don't have a dime in paypal. I think i should have followed my instinct to transfer it top my Naija backup (web4africa). |
Abagworo:You're pro-anything but pro-Igbo. You have contributted to the disunity of Igbos in this forum in no small measure. We thought it was just a Chino problem but you keep stoking the embers and it has become worse since Igbos refused to support Buhari. You are just as guilty or even worse than Chino because i thought you should know better. But everytime i see you, you are either insulting Igbos generally or insulting anything Anambra. Why not restrict your insult to Chino. Why must you insult your Fatherland so that other Nigerians can clap for you say stuff like "If every Igbo man can be like Abagworo, Nigeria will go forward". keep feeding off the support of the haters of Igboland. When they're done with you, they will dump you. That is what they do. Jisike. |
Abagworo:You're the worst Igbo person on this forum even worse than Chino. Your political affiliation has made you a dummy and you use every opportunity you have to insult Igbo people. If I didn't know any better, I would have discredited your Igbo claim. As someone who should know better, you should be ashamed of yourself. |
Nigerians should make it very clear what they're selling. I'm confused here. All i see here is ukwu. |
