omofunaab:
You are the one being economical with the truth or maybe you are just ignorant like others

I said ogun has four international stadium, am i wrong?
I said ogun has the highest number of public tertiary institutions, am i wrong?
I said ogun has the highest number of private tertiary institutions, am i also wrong with that?

Please i only entertain reasonable arguments

You said the industries in ogun doesn't produce for ogun alone, did i tell you the industries in ogun state should produce for only ogun state?
The fact that they are in ogun State is what am talking about

And what is the rubbish you people have been saying that mowe, ibafo are lagos extensions

Are you guys ignorant or what.

The question i will ask you is that if really mowe, ibafo are ogun state towns. ?

It's not my fault that anambra is far from lagos.

You should read the factors that leads to localization of industries and tell me the benefits of localization of industries to the host community , maybe then you will understand why I said those areas are urban areas.

The fact is most of you don't know the benefit of locating industries in some areas to the host community.

Besides I don't understand why abia is before oyo state.. Even enugu is not even there
You are right about the things you credited to Ogun state but those things do not really mean that a state is urbanized. What you have mentioned is geared towards "Development" rather than "Urbanization".

I was going to ask the same question sometime ago. It's not unconnected with the fact that blogger does most of the work them. It's weird that i can't remember what the dashboard of blogger looks like. It's been almost a decade since i used it. That's why whenever someone comes to me for help regarding blogger, the only thing is tell them is "Why don't you use Wordpress".

Igalas speakers in Anambra and Enugu are Igalas, Ndoki People are Ijaws but Iggbo speaking people in Igaland are still Igalas and Igbo speaking people in Rivers state and Delta state are not Igbos but Bini or Ijaw or Igala even though they speak no other language but Igbo. Una try.

Sincerely speaking , OP you are dangerously on point. She writes well shaa, but I don't understand how she mixes up the slutty American lifestyles when telling a typical Nigerian story. In Half of a Yellow Sun, I am still trying to understand 1. Onyeka onwenu's smoking. 2. The random sex in the movie. 3. The woman clubbing as far back as 1960 when our women still had a sense of "womanhood". So many questions to ask her but how we go take see her now?
So the clubs in the 1960 were being attended by chimpanzees?

bigfrancis21:
Anambra Igbo is not central. I am just hearing this for the first time. I am from Anambra. We speak and maintain our various 'Anambra dialects' which are similar to each other. Onitsha Igbo is easily understandable by most in Anambra and Igboland but it is not central Igbo. Also, observing Onitsha and central Igbo, you would find out both are similar in sentence lexicon but many words in central Igbo come from southern Igboland - Umuahia etc.
I don't know why people tend to mistake the fact that Anambra dialects are probably the most understandable for most Igbos to mean that Anambra dialect is central. Though it may not be uunconnected with the fact that a lot of Igbos find it cool to speak with Onitsha or similar dialects.

No dialect in any part of Igboland can be said to be Igbo Izugbe (If i understand it to mean the same thing as "central Igbo"wink. Though Igbo Izugbo is most related to some dialects than others and one part of Igboland that seems closest to Izugbe is the Isu speaking people who are found mostly in Imo state and other states in Igboland.

Most Nigerian feminists except the ones that are self accomplished like Chimamanda Adichie and Linda Ikeji are just online noisemakers. Many of them have taken beatings worse than this girls' from their boyfriends and instead of standing up for their right they will be apologizing to the guy just like the girl in the video was doing.

This people can lie for both Nigeria and Africa. I told someone to help me register a company and this is the third week, yet they are yet to tell me if my business name is available or not. If name search is taking this long then how long will the registration proper take? I don't know why we cannot make life difficult for ourselves. Why can't CAC put all these things online whereby i can search for the availability of a business name in less than one minute just like the online domain name system.

Though i don't know what it says but you may need to go there physically to put pressure on them. But don't expect the entire amount. They might pinch 10% tight from it.

I have and will always maintain my word and i still know that match fixing still exist and will continue to exist in football...
I'm a barca fan and one thing that i want you all to know is that even before the match yesterday i had that feeling that Barcelona will loose the match...
Its not because Manchester city are better or like most people are saying that they dominated Barcelona...
Its because the match has already been decided before kickoff...
There is no way barca boards, messi, coach Enrique and uefa and barca players will allow mancity to be eliminated from the tournament by messi's Barcelona that are close pals with guadiola and his players...
For uefa it was all about the money,.
For messi and co, it was all about friendship.....
Go and watch the match again, especially the first half and see how Barcelona players clearly sold the match...
If Barcelona were to be playing real Madrid and with the chances that barca playfully wasted, the match would be nothing lest than 4-0 by the end of first half in favour of Barcelona...
Now what was Lionel messi saying to Aguero and debruyne when they wanted to take the free kick that lead to the second goal?...
And take a look at the body movement of the keeper before the second goal...
he deliberately let the ball in...
I believe messi was telling Aguero the direction to play the ball to, which our goal keeper was aware of...
so debruyne had to take it, so that people will not suspect something fishy if Lionel messi's best friend and roommate Aguero had played the free kick....
Now the substitute of Enrique is still another factor to consider that the match was sold...
How can he remove rakitic from a game of such magnitudehuh
All the recent report of Lionel messi's involvement in a fight with fernandinho are all lies to keep the truth....

What are you saying? You sound like a child as your conspiracy theory is nothing but weak. I don't know why everyone is making so much of a big deal that Barca lost to man city. I'm a Barca fan but we're not unbeatable even though formidable. No be everyday be Christmas.

I am following and awaiting your reviews..

My own...

I felt she is just trying to monopolize blogging and having all the exclusives. Have you read the part where she says all exclusives will be paid 1k per story? I was like, this lady wan kill bloggers career. I also want to suggest her IT team needs to be on their toes now... Nigerians, hackers, Africans will want to test their prowness... They cant hack her all these years cos she was under google, now that she is alone... hmmm, I hope they caan stand the heat and she sabi look for trouble.

Over to you Afam
LindaIkeji has had it good all these years apart from when her blog was shutdown by google. But she has never been tested from the outide. Meaning that all this while she has been protected by the google umbrella. Let's see how she can shield her business from the evil machinations of some unscrupulous entities. I hope she has a good IT team to help her.

Are you serious about the 1k per story ish? O boy, small small bloggers don suffer. many of them will just have to abandon their own stuff to write for Linda Ikeji. It's easy money in my opinion.

Rizstar:
I made no bogus statement. I said what i know. I am from abia state, lived in aba before and after his reign as the governor of abia sate. OUK did no project in abia state. If you are doubting me, visit abia state or ask questions. Before his reign as the governor of abia, people trooped in from all works of life to do business in aba. People from every part of nigeria and other neighboring countries came to aba to do business and everything was going on fine until he and his co criminals, con stars and gangstas came and destroyed abia state. You people should ask him to point out one project he did during his tenure as the governonr of abia state that is still in existence. He came as the liberator of the state and we cheered him up without knowing he was yahoo yahoo man he is. Buhari is not fighting any corruption until i see him, t. a. orji and others in jail.
This is not about how bad Orji uzor Kalu was when he was governor. We know he was a failure but that's all he is, it doesn't make him the worst enemy of Igboland. If he is, then where does Theodore Orji fit since Theo is reputed as the worst governor in the history of Igboland and Nigeria. Don't you think you're being a but emotional about things. I also get angry when i see Igbo leaders speak out of turn but what i do is i usually just treat their utterances instead of labelling them with a bogus moniker or claiming that they have an Hausa father hence their utterance.

@Vanessa225..... Are you a learner... grin grin. If you are advertising your company, then it's unfair to this community. You need to pay.

To me, it doesn't look like an advert.

I don't know that Nairaland now has phD. police officers @Afam4eva preempting people's opinion.
@Afam4eva, i think your suggestion is not fair enough.

@Vanessa225

I have hosted with these Nigerian companies in the past.
@whogohost.com
@HostSleek.com
and I recently heard about mainone hosting.

There are couple of foreign companies too, but now that CBN and Banks are keeping dollar away...
it may be wise to host locally.
But don't choose cost over reliability.
He/She is not looking for a Nigerian hosting company. It's just a guise to advertise a hosting company that the Op owns or works for.

Where are the mods pls.

I know the angle you are coming from. But people locate their businesses where they will benefit. I'm not saying that Orji is an enemy. Just saying his greed has got the better of him, his utterances are unguided, and his emotions overly betrayed.

Now as per your analogy.... Even racist white men of the 18th and 19th centuries had investments (farms and slave workers) in black nations.
Then let's tackle his utterances rather than make bogus statements such as those the OP made. It's in the same way someone will say Okorocha is not Igbo because of some utterances he has made about Igbos. Let's learn to guard our judgements carefully.
WebmastersReview Of Linda Ikeji Social (LIS) by Afam4eva(op):
So, i visited Lindeikeji's blog from time to time and i come across her posts about coming up with something new with the acronym "LIS" and there was even a time she told people to guess what the acronym means and most of the comments were saying "Linda Ikeji Studio". I think many people thought it was a studio because she has always talked a lot about starting her own production company/studio. Anyways, i visited her site today to see about three posts where she introduced LIS as Linda Ikeji Social and i just needed to check it out. I've been followingp this lady's career almost about the same time Nairaland started and i'm always happy whenever she makes a big leap. Infact, i dey happy pass her sef. Anyways, i just wanted to check out the social site and here are a few things i encounted before actually logging in.

1. It looks like facebook: Isn't this like the first rule when building a social media site?

2. I registered and was asked to activate my account in my email but I waited for 30 minutes and I didn't see any email. I even Checked my spam but nothing. I even clicked on resend email but nada. Só, I tried logging in and I was told that I have tried logging in too many times and I should wait for bla bla bla seconds before I can login. Even though that was the first time I was logging in.

I didn't get to login so I don't know how the inside looks like but I hope it's promising cos I read where she said that it's a convergence of social media and blogging and I think I heard her mention something about eBay. Is it also a shopping site too?

Let me sha wait to see if they will end up sending my the email. I'll be back.

Update

After waiting for more than one hour, the activation email arrived and i activated. I had a bit of a problem logging in on my mobile device but after a few tries, i was able to login. But i still can't login on the desktop version as i keep getting the error.

I have finally been able to login. Let it be said here that, no new social media site in Nigeria can sweep me off my feet. Those that i have registered under was just for me to access them rather than having a liking for them. Even the largest social media site in NIgeria, Yookos (i think so) did not impress me. It was just same same. Nothing new to jolly about. Plus everything on the site just seemed cramped up at the time. After registering some years ago, i never stepped foot there. I actually don't know what the site looks like now.

I had a liking to LIS even before checking it out just because of my bias nature. It's freaking LindaIkeji. I like her and like seeing her succeed nuff said.

So, i enter the member area and i see a social media/network version of her blog and i'm like OOOOK. It's cool actually but not something we've not seen before. I also made a post and created a page. Apparently, she has mot features that facebook has. She probably used a facebook script.

One thing i like is the fact that it's not a conventional social site. She uses it to promote her blog and also allows other writers to submit their stories and be paid for them (not confirmed). You can also shop on there and i think that's where i saw her saying something about ebay. It's very similar to ebay. You can buy and sell on her site.

All in all, the site is OK for a start but she fix the problem of people receiving their activation emails very late and her login has to be worked on as this can dissuade a lot of people from the site.

I think the site will have a lot of membership due to her already popular brand (linikejisblog). it remains to be seen if the site will become a force to be reckoned with or if it will just be a Nigerian version of Google+.
