omofunaab:You are right about the things you credited to Ogun state but those things do not really mean that a state is urbanized. What you have mentioned is geared towards "Development" rather than "Urbanization". |
Whenever i think of Ghana, this is the first face that comes to mind RIP Sir. |
Sam Okparaji of blessed Memory. |
Never heard of this Abdulsamad Rabiu dude. How can someone be that rich and not be popular. |
Jadekitana2:I don't thin the post says "beautiful". What is see is "Popular". |
I was going to ask the same question sometime ago. It's not unconnected with the fact that blogger does most of the work them. It's weird that i can't remember what the dashboard of blogger looks like. It's been almost a decade since i used it. That's why whenever someone comes to me for help regarding blogger, the only thing is tell them is "Why don't you use Wordpress". |
Igalas speakers in Anambra and Enugu are Igalas, Ndoki People are Ijaws but Iggbo speaking people in Igaland are still Igalas and Igbo speaking people in Rivers state and Delta state are not Igbos but Bini or Ijaw or Igala even though they speak no other language but Igbo. Una try. |
sassiemyk:So the clubs in the 1960 were being attended by chimpanzees? |
bigfrancis21:I don't know why people tend to mistake the fact that Anambra dialects are probably the most understandable for most Igbos to mean that Anambra dialect is central. Though it may not be uunconnected with the fact that a lot of Igbos find it cool to speak with Onitsha or similar dialects. No dialect in any part of Igboland can be said to be Igbo Izugbe (If i understand it to mean the same thing as "central Igbo" . Though Igbo Izugbo is most related to some dialects than others and one part of Igboland that seems closest to Izugbe is the Isu speaking people who are found mostly in Imo state and other states in Igboland. |
LastMumu:Most Nigerian feminists except the ones that are self accomplished like Chimamanda Adichie and Linda Ikeji are just online noisemakers. Many of them have taken beatings worse than this girls' from their boyfriends and instead of standing up for their right they will be apologizing to the guy just like the girl in the video was doing. |
Can someone use this guy as a scape goat by getting him arrested. See the way he was beating her like he was fighting his fellow man. The gurl was down and he was still punching her on the bad. Some guys na ezuzu ezuzu. |
If I hear say any of them leave America if trump win. What's it with Nigerians and supporting the Democrats anyways? From John Kerry to Obama(understandably) To Hillary Clinton. |
I'm happy to have another Izu Ojukwu's action movie. He is the very best when it comes to action movies in Nigeria. Can't wait to watch 76. |
jinneyb:Yes, i know but you don't get the results in real time or close. The person i gave to do it says he has been checking online for almost 3 weeks now but nothing. Except he's lying. |
This people can lie for both Nigeria and Africa. I told someone to help me register a company and this is the third week, yet they are yet to tell me if my business name is available or not. If name search is taking this long then how long will the registration proper take? I don't know why we cannot make life difficult for ourselves. Why can't CAC put all these things online whereby i can search for the availability of a business name in less than one minute just like the online domain name system. |
This one get as e be. Nigeria is one place that it is very hard to get refunds and this is probably captured in new Horizon's Terms and Conditions. Though i don't know what it says but you may need to go there physically to put pressure on them. But don't expect the entire amount. They might pinch 10% tight from it. |
HabaSeun:The head was full of ideas and money ![]() |
saintCaligula:What are you saying? You sound like a child as your conspiracy theory is nothing but weak. I don't know why everyone is making so much of a big deal that Barca lost to man city. I'm a Barca fan but we're not unbeatable even though formidable. No be everyday be Christmas. |
. |
What is this i'm hearing about Trump being ahead of Clinton in dummy polls? You sure say i go fit come America so? |
You article is more of Search Engine Marketing than building a quality website. I was expecting to see some theories and technicalities about the actual designing of websites. Nice article anyways. |
What manner of man is Messi. |
No be the man suppose die? I don't get. |
dollarprincess:Apparently, he likes LindaIkejiSocial and probably wants someone to help him create something better with the script that Linda Ikeji used. |
AjayiWrites:LindaIkeji has had it good all these years apart from when her blog was shutdown by google. But she has never been tested from the outide. Meaning that all this while she has been protected by the google umbrella. Let's see how she can shield her business from the evil machinations of some unscrupulous entities. I hope she has a good IT team to help her. Are you serious about the 1k per story ish? O boy, small small bloggers don suffer. many of them will just have to abandon their own stuff to write for Linda Ikeji. It's easy money in my opinion. |
EFCC should start investing all these artiste that had their last hit when i was still in secondary schoool. Where dem dey see money dey buy all these things. These guy's last hit was "YAHOZEE" and Shoki, Alingo, Etigi and Skelewu have come after it. |
Rizstar:This is not about how bad Orji uzor Kalu was when he was governor. We know he was a failure but that's all he is, it doesn't make him the worst enemy of Igboland. If he is, then where does Theodore Orji fit since Theo is reputed as the worst governor in the history of Igboland and Nigeria. Don't you think you're being a but emotional about things. I also get angry when i see Igbo leaders speak out of turn but what i do is i usually just treat their utterances instead of labelling them with a bogus moniker or claiming that they have an Hausa father hence their utterance. |
JusticeEquity:He/She is not looking for a Nigerian hosting company. It's just a guise to advertise a hosting company that the Op owns or works for. Where are the mods pls. |
ikennaf1:Then let's tackle his utterances rather than make bogus statements such as those the OP made. It's in the same way someone will say Okorocha is not Igbo because of some utterances he has made about Igbos. Let's learn to guard our judgements carefully. |
So, i visited Lindeikeji's blog from time to time and i come across her posts about coming up with something new with the acronym "LIS" and there was even a time she told people to guess what the acronym means and most of the comments were saying "Linda Ikeji Studio". I think many people thought it was a studio because she has always talked a lot about starting her own production company/studio. Anyways, i visited her site today to see about three posts where she introduced LIS as Linda Ikeji Social and i just needed to check it out. I've been followingp this lady's career almost about the same time Nairaland started and i'm always happy whenever she makes a big leap. Infact, i dey happy pass her sef. Anyways, i just wanted to check out the social site and here are a few things i encounted before actually logging in. 1. It looks like facebook: Isn't this like the first rule when building a social media site? 2. I registered and was asked to activate my account in my email but I waited for 30 minutes and I didn't see any email. I even Checked my spam but nothing. I even clicked on resend email but nada. Só, I tried logging in and I was told that I have tried logging in too many times and I should wait for bla bla bla seconds before I can login. Even though that was the first time I was logging in. I didn't get to login so I don't know how the inside looks like but I hope it's promising cos I read where she said that it's a convergence of social media and blogging and I think I heard her mention something about eBay. Is it also a shopping site too? Let me sha wait to see if they will end up sending my the email. I'll be back. Update After waiting for more than one hour, the activation email arrived and i activated. I had a bit of a problem logging in on my mobile device but after a few tries, i was able to login. But i still can't login on the desktop version as i keep getting the error. I have finally been able to login. Let it be said here that, no new social media site in Nigeria can sweep me off my feet. Those that i have registered under was just for me to access them rather than having a liking for them. Even the largest social media site in NIgeria, Yookos (i think so) did not impress me. It was just same same. Nothing new to jolly about. Plus everything on the site just seemed cramped up at the time. After registering some years ago, i never stepped foot there. I actually don't know what the site looks like now. I had a liking to LIS even before checking it out just because of my bias nature. It's freaking LindaIkeji. I like her and like seeing her succeed nuff said. So, i enter the member area and i see a social media/network version of her blog and i'm like OOOOK. It's cool actually but not something we've not seen before. I also made a post and created a page. Apparently, she has mot features that facebook has. She probably used a facebook script. One thing i like is the fact that it's not a conventional social site. She uses it to promote her blog and also allows other writers to submit their stories and be paid for them (not confirmed). You can also shop on there and i think that's where i saw her saying something about ebay. It's very similar to ebay. You can buy and sell on her site. All in all, the site is OK for a start but she fix the problem of people receiving their activation emails very late and her login has to be worked on as this can dissuade a lot of people from the site. I think the site will have a lot of membership due to her already popular brand (linikejisblog). it remains to be seen if the site will become a force to be reckoned with or if it will just be a Nigerian version of Google+.

Someone who has investments in Igboland cannot be the greatest enemy of Igbos. I thought Okorocha had that title? |
People are hungry and you're changing leadership perceptions. You should be more concerned with poverty perceptions. |
