I can't remember how many of peter Obi's project that i've seen. the last one i saw was the inter community road and was very impressed with the quality. It behoves on you people that live in Anambra to take more pictures for us to see.

Is the poster the governor of Enugu or an official of the Enugu state government? Since there's no marking, we'll assume that they're still working on doing it. Can't you see people on here asking why the roads have not been marked?

I think Igbo should be left to decide personally who they want to vote for and should not be cajole based on ethnic sentiments. But for me personally, i think the devil i know is better than the angel i don't know. I'll stick with Jonathan for now cos if what i'm hearing from APC is anything to go by, there's going to be a Northern presidential candidate and a SW vice and i don't see how that portends anything for Ndigbo. As much as Jonathan is not a messiah, i think his tenure as president has touched on some salient issues facing the east and even Nigeria. If our eye is on the presidency, then as things stands, we stand more chance of sticking with Jonathan as even if he decides to hand over to a Northerner after his tenure in 2019 or even 2015, most definitely, there would be an Igbo vice. That's my personal submission.

I also don't support an airport in Abia state at this point but i know if the state government wants it then they'll have it just like Akwa Ibom and Delta state. So, i'm saying if there must be an airport in Abia then it must be in Aba.

It's not about which is better. it's about which one you can afford. Creating a forum like nairaland will cost you nothing less than 150k(my opinion). You can just use smf. It's not everybody that has the luxury of creating a forum from scratch.

Nairaland used to run on smf and smf is a forum software that you can install on your site instead of coding the forum from scratch but as time went by, Nairaland thought it wise to create their own forum software due to a couple of issues which include but not limited to security. So, Nairaland was designed using perl scripting language instead of php scripting language which was used by those who designed smf.

Nairaland used to be smf but it's no longer smf. Though the database structure may well be smf but the template and backward was custom built a few years back.

I didn't say he has done nothing. It's just that it isn't all that good, even when you factor in the constraints the our pretensive FG system poses. We are just to used to poor leadership we celebrate average jobs.

Of course you're right. What Fashola is doing is what an average state government should be doing but due to the dearth of good leadership, we tend to worship an above average job. But we have to be thankful nonetheless for the little we have right now. I know how Iju road and College road in Ifako used to be in the past and i can see the difference.

Whoever says fashola hasn't done anything should have themselves checked. Even in my area which isn't even a highbrow area, i can see the changes especially in roads and walkways. Though i also think the achievements are overestimated and that is because for long, Lagosians had not experienced visible developments.
