Pls, let's desist from making this about political parties and focus on the subject matter.

As much as i believe that those prominent men from that area are bonafide thieves. I don't see what they could have done really. It's not like they occupy(ied) an executive position that would aid them to salvage the situation of Otukpo. let's not forget that otukpo is not the capital of Benue state and in Nigeria, our governors have a culture of always developing the major city and leaving other cities to rut away. I don't see how Otukpo is worse than other mini-cities throughout Nigeria.

Download wither WAMP or XAMP server and install any of them. After you're done installing, you'll unzip the smf in a folder in the www folder in WAMP. That's where all your web files should be.

I never said that the bible contradicts itself and i'm not even interested in that argument. My point is that people understand the bible differently and a lot of people claim to be led by the spirit. Everyone thinks what they understand is right while other people are being misled. For instance, there was a day i wanted to even hear what the Jehovah witness people had to say about Hell not being right and i must say that they showed me a part of the bible that supports their argument and i even checked it in my own bible just to be sure that they don't have something different in their bible like most people think.

I can't tell who's right or wrong but one thing i've noticed about Nigerians is that they're not open minded and will rather die with what they believe it whether it's the truth or not.

However even if the actors you mentioned do not want to star in Igbo movies, there is a whole generation of actors (New faces and not-so-new faces) who are taking up that mantle and doing both Igbo and English movies...E.g., Michael Godson, Nuella Njubigbo, Muna Obiekwe, Uche Ogbodo, Yul Edochie, Princess Chineke, Chika Asoekwu, Chita Agwu, Jnr Pope, Mary Remmy, Angela Okorie, Chacha Eke, Chizzy Alichi, Rachael Okonkwo, Queen Nwokoye, Oma Nnadi...and many more. This is a great development.

Just watch out, once these marketers start pumping serious money into Igbo movie productions, everybody and their grandmother will start asserting their Igbo fluency. They all will be like, "I can speak Igbo very well. Anam asu Igbo ofuma". LoL

Just like Flavour and Phyno (amongst many other Igbo musicians) are making Igbo hip on the music-side, the aforementioned actors (and others who were not mentioned) will also make the language hip on the movie side.

FYI...I do not think Tonto can speak Igbo o. At least she claims she cannot speak Ikwerre and that she regrets that fact.

The reason i mentioned the likes of Genevieve and Monalisa Chinda is the fact that they're very popular and they represent the new generation and them switching to doing Igbo movies will make some people who thought speaking Igbo was bad to have a rethink. That's why i have always clamored for us to start having Igbo musicians rapping in Igbo like Phyno and Splash are doing and not just the Akanchawa kind of music. The world is moving very fast and hip hop has become a tool to attract the young ones, so we have to encourage the use of Igbo language in a swagalicious manner so that our young ones will key into it. I recently watched the auditioning for "Nigeria;s got Talent" and i saw several people coming out to rap in Igbo. Even though they didn't make it through but it shows that they have been inbfluenced by the likes of Phyno, Ill Bliss etc. I also commend Obi Emelonye for doing an Igbo movie in London where some whites were speaking Igbo. That will make some people down here to be ashamed of themselves that white people are speaking it while they can't. Lol.

Thick has a lot to do with having large bones while being fat means having a sloppy skin. People who are thick are said to be bootylicious while fat people are just fat and unattractive.

How exactly have those two brought growth and development to Igboland? It's not like they even feature in Igbo movies. They should have just being given the titles without giving a lame reason.

Mark Carney, the Governor of the Bank of England, is not British - he's Canadian. Despite London being the financial capital of the world (yes, ahead of New York). The UK has tons of great economists, however, non can compete with Carney's track-record and how he was able to manage the financial crises of two countries (Canada and Russia). That's what Nigeria also needs to do.

How can London be the financial capital of the world when it's not even the financial capital of Europe. Frankfurt has that title. I think you meant to say Commercial but even that title belongs to new York and deep down you're aware of that.

Read my post again and stop acting ignorantly. Setting up an smf can be done in minutes but changing the layout, coloring and adding those features cannot be done in that amount of time.

rutchiekens: Just accept u don't know a thing abt web designing cos u wud have heard of something called forum software and stop cursing people, have u even heard of Google.



It took me 20 minutes to get my forum up and running without designing it. It would take a web developer less than a day to design it and make sure it's on check.

The OP just doesn't want a forum, he wants a customized forum with some features that include frontpage script, like button etc. That's not what you setup in 20 minutes.
