Rhino.5dm:Rhino, i don tell you say make u no dey lie. Be proud of what you do for a living. We're all one. @topic Nice one flavour. |

This sounds like the story of Jesus and Mary. I feel these things are staged. |
Nomski0:No be Agege you dey live? Why u dey wait make person wey dey London bring Agege bread for you ![]() |
How are we supposed to know if it's hygienic or not. It depends on the person preparing it but we don't ask questions about hygiene before buying stuffs like that. We just buy them. |
I hate beer parlor with a passion. |
CFCfan: @Afam: In the engineering/IT field, UCSD is a top public university. It won't be as expensive as the ivy league schools.I'll consider it. Btw, does San Diego have a beach? |
I never knew screaming was a cultural trait. |
Bread and Banana because they're sold on the way and they're cheap. |
A lot of artists have used Adamma. What's so special about the name? |
femogbangba: Then it is better to look for colleges that are technologically focused i.e. MIT, Caltech etc however the aforementioned are very expensive and the entry requirements are very onerous, if you have a good GRE Score and a good GPA from your undergraduate degree, you can apply for a scholarship- extremely competitive but not unattainable.MIT, Caltech and maybe Georgia Tech are out of it cos of the reasons you stated. I don't want an Ivy league school or their friends. I'll most likely attend a public Ivy league school as it's often called. I prefer the US cos that's where i know people and there's where would be comfortable for me. I don't like the UK. |
femogbangba: Lets start from the basics:IT & BIS |
Why's APC running after Thieving PDP governors. have they forgotten that APC is for progressives? |
Dannylux: This is the same with me. I enjoy prayers when It's brief and straightforward. I wonder if making it lengthy unnecessarily has It's benefits too?The longer your prayers, the closer you are with God ![]() |
sholay2011: I beg to differ...nobody is scared to talk about our over-religiosity...at least on NL...those dt feel ppl re scared to do so shud go to the churches and make dia cases, not hide behind computer screens and spam internet with how pentecostal pastors are synonymous to fraudsters. So, i get we shouldn't also discuss the economic, social and political problem in our country. Everybody should just mind their business. |
deols: Only mature people should be married!I don't even think the woman set out to marry from outside her tribe. She probably felt she was more or less marrying her fellow Yoruba since the man spoke the language even better than her and was probably more disposed to Yoruba things hence the reason why she didn't seem it necessary to discuss these issues. Some ladies would actually have no problem acceding to such a man's request, that's why people should marry someone they can agree with most of the time. If you can't agree with someone, no matter how in-love you guys are, it's a waste of time. |
deols: It causes conflicts simply people decide to allow it. In my family, we don't ask any woman married to us to change their names. They don't have to.It will take two extremely mature people not to get into conflicts because of issues like that. If don't want to change your name to that of your Husband, it's your choice but you have to communicate it to him before marriage to see if he's like your family that don't care whether someone bears their name or not. But i think that's quite a stretch in a place like Africa. As much as a man shouldn't have married a woman outside his tribe if he soo cares about her and his children speaking Esan, the woman shouldn't have also considered someone like that or at least she should have discussed these issues before agreeing to marry the man. Marriage is about agreement. If i go into marriage agreeing that my wife should be giving me ten hot slaps everyday, i won't see it as an insult when i eventually get into marriage because it's what i signed up for. I think this woman should accept things the way they are because that's what she signed up for. A lot of parents are aware of this issues, that's why they fight tooth and nail to make sure their ward does not marry outisde their tribe. |
Try again...bad belle people. |
Those Lateesha and Shareefa names used by African Americans sound like Muslims names. Is it their own version of Muslims names? Are they Muslims? |
A 10 year old lured a 26 years old into molesting her? The guy's eye should be plucked off one after the other. |
That's not Nonso Diobi. |
CFCfan: You can come to Anaheim or Los Angeles.Which nice schools are there. I know UCLA. How is it compared to Berkley? |
ighoosagie: facts abt 9ja.How do you know this? have you been round Nigeria? |
Mamacita007: What are you waiting for? there are 50 states to choose from. It's really hard to choose from 50 states. If i was going to the UK, it would have been an easy pick(London) but the US is soo big and i can't seem to make up my mind. I'm coming there for my masters and i'm looking for a very good school(Not the Ivy leagues or their friends oo). |
It's funny how these musicians disapear without notice. I'm not surprised with the likes of Bigiano cos people like that usually just have one hit song and you don't see them for a long time. The next time you hear from them, they're telling you about how they're cooking something in the studio. I'm surprised at Style Plus and they faded due to the fact that they called the bluff of those who told them that if they weren't in Lagos, they can't succeed musically. It seems those people were right. Eedris Abdukareem can never be a musician to be reckoned with no matter how many songs he releases. No be curse. Music has just moved on without him. His friend, Tony Tetuila tried at least. He released some hit songs and went on a short break and came back with one song that goes thus "Ti oba tun kini ye le, awon kiniye ma jabo...do re mi fa so la ti do omo ele". Lol I think he can't keep up with the swagalicious music that peeps are releasing these days.Mavelous Benji never had the opportunity to make it big. Before he went into oblivion, he was signed on to kennis music but they didn't help his career at all. Right now, his kind of song cannot sell in Nigeria. |
ighoosagie: dat awkward moment, wen rams and cows re counted in d northern part of one country in West AfricaI think if anything, it's the northern population that's exaggerated. |
olarwarlay: Visitors plenty for thread today ooo... Sunday things ba?I officially welcome you to this thread. Na we own am ![]() |
adaobi123: Interesting. Holla at me when you are done. I need to prepare myself too. That would be nice. |
adaobi123: So afam when exactly are you moving to America ?I'm looking at next year or the year after. I'm not in a hurry. I have some things to do down here in Nigeria. |
ighoosagie: nigeria populations is not more than 40million.Is that not the population of countries like Ghana? Nigeria is like 6 Ghanas in one. We may not be up to the over 100 million population being bandied all over the place but our population is around 100 million. Isn't it weird that there's no single official figure of Nigeria's population. Some people will say it's 140, others will say 150, while other 160, 170 etc. |
ighoosagie: my Craig list experienceLol ![]() I think the guy is an American living in Nigeria. Wey Rossike? |

I am not absolving any MOG of any accusations but there are more pertinent issues that would have been more reasonable to trash out...not this.
