Yvonne Jegede is an attention seeker. What has she done apart from 2face's African Queen video and some minor roles in movies. The only area i can rate her above Yvonne Nelson is in her boobs. I just hope her brain is bigger than her boobs. |

docjuli: Afam biko, it is not real.Ohh ok. It sounded sooo unreal but with the kind of things that are happening in this world, i could believe something like this. |
CFCfan: WTF!!Because it's allowed by those who would be molested. They have the choice to leave if they don't wanna.... So, this is the festival that Chukwudi told me he was attending in India. E be like say this boy wan contract HIV. |
Abagworo: You people write rubbish like you are on ground. Complete nonsense! Majority of Rivers people who of course live in Port-Harcourt and Ikwerre/Ogoni are in support of Amaechi and will follow him wherever he goes.Is your name "Majority of Rivers people"? Why are you speaking for Majority of Rivers people when you're just one person. Like i said in my previous post Amaechi is only claiming followership because he's still a governor and some people have something to benefit from him. The moment he's out of government house, he'll become a nobody. Go and ask Odilli. That's Rivers Politics for you. |
infonubia: While this maybe true, it's still an assumption. There are lots of Indians in Kenya as well and they haven't been deported neither are Kenyans being arrested around the world for fraud and drug-related activities. Let's not excuse our excesses but instead look inward and begin tackling some of our issues. This isn't a tribal issue but a Nigeria issue. And the government isn't going to solve all of our problems. We are the change we seek.As a matter of fact Kenyans are equally been arrested in India just like Nigerians. I read one article where Indians were saying Nigerians and Kenyans must leave Goa. It's just that due to our population, the attention is mostly on us. |
donphilopus: If I'm not mistaking, they were defaeted by 8 goals to nil at GermanyThat was Saudi Arabia. |
CFCfan: Mexico really struggled in the CONCACAF qualifying zone. They couldn't score a goal in 3 consecutive home games at a point. Going thru an intercontinental playoff is a new experience for the "El Tri", and their fans.Their football has swindled over the years. I think the US is even ahead of them now in that region. |
This is probably one of the most idiotic articles that i've read this year. How did the idiotic know that the Indians in Nigeria are living legally and are not involved in one crime or the other? Does she work for the Nigerian police? And how did she know that the Nigerian guy that was killed must have been involved in drug trade. Couldn't he have been killed because he was from a country which they(Indians) accuse of being drug peddlers? Are there no innocent Nigerians in india. So, if i go to India and God forbid, something happens to me, i'll be accused of being a drug lord? And how did this idiot know that there are not more than 10 Indians in Nigerian prisons and even she's right, could it not be a pointer that the Indian authorities are racist in their carriage of justice by arresting and prosecuting innocent Nigerians as opposed to the Nigerian police virtually worshiping anyone who looks like white. The writer should better shut up or else, i'll stop watching Bollywood movies. |

These Mexicans are playing a defensive game. We need to penetrate from the flanks. |
buchibabe: Well i dnt even know d diff btwn toefl and IELTS,but i know IELTS is used to gain admission in skool o ,esp in uk.because Wen i wanted to gain admission in uk,i took d exams at london school of commerce( because i was in uk at dat time) and dey told me it was compulsory, even after hearing me blow my queens english,IELTS is used mostly by schools in the UK while Toefl is used by schools in the US. |
ndu_chucks: You don't come across as a typical Nigerian sir, if I may say so.According to him, if it's not Chukwudi, Adewale or Usman then it's not a Nigerian name. @topic The guy is very lucky to have survived after two days. |
akereconfi: My friend, remember that before you apply to the school, you must have seen there entry requirement abi. If TOEFL/IELTS is a requirement for non EU students, there is nothing like waiver. Get your fact correctYou're wrong. I've processed school admission for people and in some cases, the toefl was waived despite been stated on the school's website. |
joeydozzy: That's what we say every seasonThe Spurs are like Barcelona. We know they're the best but that does not mean they must'nt win the championship. |
Katsumoto: Oh boyThat's why i say we see things a little differently. We have rules and not a constitution. While the latter if precise, the former is not and is open to varying interpretations. The truth is that a lot of threads even in the politics section can belong to any other section but is left here due to the discretionary powers of the mods. Like i said, it's not a white and black issue, so no one is right or wrong but the powers of the mods have to be respected. it is what it is. |
Is Tony Muonagor is not the same person as musician and Actor, "Tony One Week"? is he not in ACN? |
if it makes you guys happy, i'll move it back to the politics section. |
Gombs:Why the dash(-) in your comment. I hope you know it's not wise running and talking at the same time ![]() |
God bless you all for understanding. I've always known Pataki, Omonnakoda, femiogbangba and Illugunboy to be very understanding. Thanks for exhibiting this rare quality. God bless. |
Roland17: It would be a huge indictment on the NBA if queen James and the heats stroll into the finals and win it all for the third consecutive season, teams like the pacers, thunders, clippers and Houston must hide their head in shame and apologize to fans if they allow the heats win it all..But the heats are a formidable team na Though i think the San Antonio spurs have no reason not winning the title this year. My opinion. |
ilugunboy: So can you now please move it back to the Politics section.....Like i said, he didn't do the wrong thing by moving it there as the thread also somewhat fits the description of that section. |
Gombs: I understand y u can't answer me....I'm just glad viewers of this page can draw conclusion for themselves...Have a merry filled running. When put on the spot, you remove your shoe and take off. |
femogbangba: Please stop using words you dont understand. When I raised this issue, you said that it could either be in the Politics section or the sectarian section depending on how the Mod "perceives" it.That thread is not an extreme case of an ethnic thread but that doesn't mean that it does not fit the description. probably if i had come across the thread myself, i would have left it in the politics section but that doesn't mean the mod that moved the thread did the wrong thing. Moderating Nairaland is not a black and white issue and we try as much as possible to do the right thing or something close. |
boay: It is alleged that it is contributing to low standard in our education sectorSo, how are the full time students any different. The call for the abolition of Part-time studies is a case of cutting off the head because one has headache. Part-time studies and high standard of education have nothing in common. |
Gombs: Answer my question pls...then we can proceed....a yes or no would be fineI don't have time to engage in a verbal pilgrimage with you. Save us some time and show us where a pastor have laid hands on an obviously diseased person. I'm not here to answer questions. I've answered enough to last for a lifetime. |
0monnakoda: Logism 1In my first submission, i stated that the idiosyncrasy of that thread suggests that it should be in the ethnic section and not just because "Yoruba" was stated in it. The meeting that gave rise to that article was a meeting of ethnic groups and the discussions were ethnic discussion, so i don't know what you're arguing for or against. |
Gombs: Is the above bold a logical and cogent enough reason for your conclusion that pastors don't do such? Why don't you present us with a bold and cogent prove instead of gallivanting with words. I only highlighted the fact that our Pastors in Nigeria have left the true essence of Christianity to pursue vanity. |
boay: Hello intelligentsia on Nairaland. I have been considering so many things inhibiting the growth of this nation. Though I have been able to find answers to some questions that were lingering in my mind, some are still popping in my heart. There are many policies that are counter-productive in our dear country, nevertheless our leader refuse to see reasons to change them despite the fact that they are so obvious but some Nigerians claim that our leaders only refuse to do the right thing. Why do you think it should be abolished or what gave rise to the question? |
