iamdsam: The Battle of Musangha and Nautty Jeff and many others I can't remember their name right now. I really miss these movies and I wanna watch them again.
The guy that produced "Battle of Muzhanga" has to tell us how he was able to convince those women to go topless in the movie.

alaoeri: Take me to mama - Saint Obi and Igodo what a nice movies they are.
Take Me to Mama wasn't really nice. it was a movie produced by St Obi where he set out to tell us how he burnt a car in the movie like it's any of our business.

Portugal must score at least 2 goals to be in contention.

Pls, let's desist from discussing England or any other useless team here. This match is between Portugal and Sweden, two of the best teams in the world.

asha 80: what are you afraid of?
I'm afraid this Obiano guy might just nick it. If elections were decided on nairaland and the internet then it would have been a walk-over for Ngige but if there's one thing i've noticed about elections especially in Anambra state, the polls from Non-Anambra based outfits don't usually represent the reality on ground. I remember how those of us outside Anambra were shouting Soludo all over the place during the last election but he ended up coming third. Things are not always what they seem especially if one is viewing from outside. Though i hope Ngige wins sha. I just hope so cos i'm not comfortable with this Obiano off a nwoke. But whoever wins, we have to support him.

AtlanticBreeze: The pump action as was reported belongs to IMO security who I guess were escorting them. Either the CP was being skeptical or he was playing pranks
The news article made it seem like these guys were the ones carrying the weapons.

PoliticsRe: Arrested Election Observers Are Bonafide & Accredited Officials - INEC by Afam4eva(m): 5:47pm On Nov 15, 2013
if this actually came from INEC then we'll have to take their word as gospel. But what i want to know is if they were truly found with pump actions like alleged cos i don't understand what election observers and weapons have in common. Are they there to observe a war or what? #JustAsking

As long as their father see nothing wrong with it then it's ok. Respect is not when you call people Dad, Mum, Aunty, Uncle. It is when your actions show that you respect them.

Igbo speaking part of Delta is still delta. The same way Yoruba speaking part of Edo is listed under the South South region.
This is quantum Cluelessness. it seems you don't know the difference between a tribe and a state. Are you aware that Keshi is also from that part of Delta state? What a joke.

I like Sweden too but Portugal is the second country i support after Nigeria and i'll like to see them qualify. I wonder why they didn't qualify through the normal process. How many teams are going to qualify anyways?

Echiejile is actually from the Igbo speaking part of Delta state. I'm really not sure about Onazi though.

Nnewi1stSon: Are u kidding me? grin Afam you should know me better by now, or is it cos of the change of name? Anyways to help u out, i did the sokoto pishures thread, u catch my drift? I was a staunch supporter of Soludo, b4 Adaobi backstabbed him ever since then i've hated anything that has to do with Apga, and who is saying ubah is from my place? You forget our dear leader Ojukwu( who incidentally founded Apga) is equally from my place? Just for the records i'm supporting Ngige, but just incase he doesnt cross the finish line, i'd appreciate if he'd hand the baton to ubah or anybody else besides ObiAnuOHiA! angry
Ok, i know you now. I was wondering why i've not been seeing you around.

Nnewi1stSon: it is not a 'maybe'@ i dare jonathan to conduct the elections free; Adaobi and Bamanga tukur will be stunned by the results! People over here are fed up with Apga!
So, who're you supporting? Let me guess, Ifeanyi Uba. Why? Because he's from your place?
PoliticsRe: Accredited Anambra Election Observers Arrested In Owerri, Imo State by Afam4eva(m): 12:29pm On Nov 15, 2013
If election observers can now carry pump action and election materials about then i wonder what the real election riggers will carry. Maybe, Weapons of Mass destruction. SMH
PoliticsRe: Anambra Governorship Election Tomorrow At 8am by Afam4eva(m): 12:26pm On Nov 15, 2013
Nnewi1stSon: Is this a joke? U mean tony nwoye that started campaigning Last week stands a better Chance than Ifeanyi ubah? Well sorry to bust ur bubble but this election is between Ngige and Ubah? Any other result not having these two as the winners is a product of a rigged poll! QED!
I actually thought so too. Maybe Labour party could displace PDP from the 3rd position but we can't ignore PDP in any election in Nigerian. The presence of Jonathan and other governors alone will give Nwoye a push but i don't know if that will be enough though.

PoliticsRe: Hoodlums Arrested With Guns & Fake INEC ID Cards In Imo by Afam4eva(m): 11:42am On Nov 15, 2013
ba7man: Yoruba boys going all the way to Anambra to rig an election??.......Doesn't add up.

If Ngige really wanted to rig, why didn't he use Igbo boys that can easily blend in unlike yoruba boys that will stick out like sore thumbs in the east and won't even be able to communicate or find their way around without guidiance.

If distance was the issue, why didn't he use Edo boys since Edo is an APC state??

This reeks of a desperate political set up to smear Ngige using Osun State to hammer the fact that APC is a Yoruba party.

I won't be surprised if the boys were even mobilized by the perpetrators while under disguise as APC agents.

This is a new Low in Political Strategy.
This is a close to rational conclusion but i'm sure if it was PDP, we would have sentenced them to death before proving their innocence. As much as i believe people should take this story with a pinch of salt, i hate hypocrisy. Do unto others what you want them to do to you.

igbo boy: whichone be SE igbos?
So those of us for south south kwa?
A lot of people use SE and Igboland interchangeably. SE can mean the region that's made up of 5 states or Igboland. The term SE is just a political moniker. How is Onitsha SE and Asaba isn't? Is Igboland more SE than Cross River and Akwa-Ibom?

PoliticsRe: Ridiculous Statements Made At Anambra PDP rally by Afam4eva(m): 4:47pm On Nov 14, 2013
Pukkah: Does it not belittle and demean the President to sit by and watch while such reckless statements were made?

It is noble that you admitted that the statements were reckless.

I would not have minded so much as a Nigerian if the President or any other national symbol was not there.

I would have also ignored it if such statements had been made by anonymous people on Nairaland.

But making such a statement in the presence of the President is a disrespect to that office. That the President let it go also speaks volume about him.
That's the sad reality of the Nigeria that we live in today. The recklessness didn't start with Jonathan and won't end with him until be get our act together. I thin it's also imperative that we talk about some reckless actions that bore these reckless statements.
PoliticsRe: Ridiculous Statements Made At Anambra PDP rally by Afam4eva(m): 4:30pm On Nov 14, 2013
It's called politics. people will go to any length to get political power. As reckless as some of the statements sound, they can garner a lot of votes based on what they said. They have played on the emotions of the people.

ngozievergreen: Please help me out.
I wonder what unesco think they speak in the east.
English?
Hia, in my sec sch, ppl that speak English because they were based outside igbo land, had the fewest friends and acquaintances
The thing is, most of the recognized Igbos live outiside the east and because those in the east have not been able to sell themselves to the outside world, the ones who live outside Igboland are used as the parameter to judge Igbos. I used to belong to the school of thought that thought Igbo language was dying but i realized that i thought so because i was judging based on people that i encounter in Lagos and i don't think those people are a true reflection of Igbos. But that's not to say more and more people are refusing to speak and learn Igbo.

macof: Hausa is second most spoken in African territories

Yoruba is second recognized in the sense that people learn it outside Africa, just little less than Swahili
You're wrong. Why don't you tell me why most International media outfits have Hausa as one of their broadcast language but not Yoruba or Igbo. Don't push it. Hausa is more widely spoken and more widely recognized.
CultureRe: Nigeria's Disappearing Languages by Afam4eva(m): 4:15pm On Nov 14, 2013
macof: Statistics show that Swahili is Africa's most recognized language.

Yoruba comes second
The person you quoted says BEST and here you're saying MOST RECOGNIZED. Why don't you ask him what he means by BEST. And btw, the most recognized languages in Africa are Swahili and Hausa before any other.

Lovetinz: He was a Professor,
He is still a Professor.
Obama was a student,
He is now President of the USA!
Typical Nigerian mentality. If you criticize someone then you're beefing the person. Who told you the Prof wants to do anything but teach? You think it's like Nigeria where you change profession as the stomach leads.
