sholay2011: Lmao! But seriously, I also thought the question was a no brainer since the eye is quite important but have you ever thought about not having the sense of touch (skin) or taste (tongue)?Does not having a "sense of touch" imply that if one is being beaten, it won't hurt? If that's the case then good riddance... As for taste, hmmm, i like the taste of my food very much but i think i like my sight more. |
Seeing they say is believing, so i'll rather have an eye and believe ![]() |
lionness: I havent commented on nairaland for years, because I believed it went to the dogs the day someone as shameless and partisan as you became a MOD. The only reason people like you started condeming this act was simply because Fashola, a Yoruba governor did it. You never for once said anything critical about this trend when until it affected the Ibos. You are a disgrace to even exist on this fora. Kindly delete my post for all you care or refrain my posting privleged. And to Seun, see your life. See how your adverts keep increase to zero! Shame.I condemned the governor of Abia state when he did something relative. You can check my post history. The reason why Fashola's own was more pronounced is because he's the governor of the most important state in Nigeria. I condemned Fashola's action from a constitutionally point of view and not from a tribal prism like a lot of people did and i will continue to condemn any state governor that carries out similar actions because it's not in tandem with the laws of the land. |
Radoillo: I cannot claim to know what it means. I'm not Ikwerre. I lived in Port Harcourt for a year, and while there, I observed that the people accentuated the 'Igbo' in Rumuigbo quite differently from the way 'Igbo' as an ethnic group is accentuated. I only made an observation. If you're referring to the meaning then you may be right butlet's not forget that any town with Igbo as part of it's name in the South East does not inply that it means Igbo(the ethnic group). It has never been about the ethnic group but is about being part of the ethnic group because it's from that word that the Igbo ethnic group derived it's name. Imagine a town in Edo named "Yoruba" and they speak Yoruba and they now tell you that they have absolutely nothing to do with being Yoruba. That's laughable. |
alexchiny: You are not from Anambra nwokem! Speak for your state! Anambrarians have rejected APC. GBAM! I cannot wait to see the boos and scorns Ngige will receive during campaigns.IS APC contesting? HWat part of Anambra is He/She from? I said Ngige and not APC and you're not more Anambrarian than i am. |
As things stand, i think i'll go for Ngige. |
I guess this is the latest trend and more states will continue in the show of shame. Very soon it will be extended to non-beggars. One NIgeria. |
mikeapollo: OAU was conceptualised and built by the Western Region Government under Obafemi Awolowo....It was conceptualized under Awolowo but built under Akintola. |
Radoillo: And I doubt if Umuigbo/Rumuigbo meand 'Igbo people'. The 'Igbo' is kind of accentuated differently. Then what does it mean? |
I think that school called LASU should be shut down. The school is a glorified nursery school with kindergarten teachers that they call lecturers. |
coogar: mumu - my wages per hour can fund your entire trip. you are going to he traveling on a donkey like young moses. so what's the biggie? you are talking to someone staying in one of the most expensive cities to live in the world & you are adding poverty mentality to the sentence? how does that go together? Then why did you sound shocked that someone could afford a trip like that. it shows that you're not used to that kind of life. I wouldn't expect anyone from peckam to be able to afford such trip anyways. |
coogar: he would get a written note from peter obi to secure a month leave from seun's clutches. the problem is, how's afam going to fund this expensive expedition - is he going to travel by a car or a camel? You London boys and poverty mentality. I know it seems strange to you that someone has the money to tour the entire country. This is something that income from peke(spraying perfume for a living) cannot do. |
Jarus: Awolowo/Akintola govt of western region (1962).I thought when they say a school is a federal school, it means it belongs to the federal government. if this school was built by a regional government then i'll say it's impressive. |
Jarus: Africa, used to be, but doubt it is now. But Nigeria, none comes close (in terms of aesthetics).I think we should start from West Africa. Most of the university campuses i see outside Nigeria are beautiful. Even Ghanian universities have very beautiful campuses that may be more beautiful than that of OAU. Not to talk of Africa that includes South Africa, Kenya and North African countries. I think this is a topic i have to blog about. My research begins now... |
Mercedez Benz reminds me of the bible passage "Occupy till i come" |
joeydozzy: I can see the little weed you took has shrouded your reasoning.I don't take chelsea dry gin if that's what you're asking. I think chelsea will go places in the UEFA cup and carling cup. God bless you. |
Rasheed02: Dear Bonehead, the very fact that you a are a la liga fan shouldn't make u curse EPL Teams.football is a gentleman's game not for touts and rogues.i know your type,Bandwagoner fan!I'm not a chelsea fan, if that's what you're asking. |
Havilah93:I doubt if they will stand in chelsea way to the UEFA cup. But i wish chelsea could qualify though so that at least one premiership team will represent but unfortunately, if wishes were horses, beggars would ride. The only way i see chelsea qualifying is if at least 5 major players of Basel die in a plane crash. |
