A government does not exclusively mean that of a state(governor). It can be a Fderal government, Local government etc. I think it's imperative that we use the correct terms next time to avoid misunderstanding.

You didn't say anything about governors. You mentioned APC and not governors. How does APC having 1 governor each in all the regions mean that they are more widespread? What happened to National Assembly members, Reps members, LGA chairman etc?

Exactly! I even forgot that Ojukwu was alive when Obi won his second election. Now that Ojukwu is gone, i think it's a test for APGA cos Obi does not even wield 20% of the power that Ikemba wielded in Anambra. So, his support for Obiano will count for little.

Isn't it enough to say "APC is in every region of the most country, North, West, East and South" instead of trying to compare it with the most widespread party irrespective of their shortcomings. I think the opposition should stop chasing shadows and start telling themselves the truth because when people start making statements that are obvious even to the blind, it brings some stain on the integrity that the opposition professes.

The rural dwellers in Anambra are massively pro-Obi and those dudes count a lot at the polls. You can stay on NL and cast your vote for Ngige but it won't change the fact that he won't and can't win a Governorship elections in Anambra state.

Obi got 97,843 votes to defeat his closest rival, Dr Chris Ngige, who came second with 60,240 votes, while Professor Chukwuma Soludo came third with 59,355 votes. I think that's a poor result for an incumbent who recieved the support of the church according to you.

Pls let's not over-estimate the support of the church. If the support of the church was sooo important then Peter Obi would have won by a wider margin in the last election owing to the fact that he was the icumbent, so i don't think the church support will be enough for Obiano this time around.

It's Commonsensical that cities that have larger populations than they can manage effectively always rank badly. You don't need to travel to other countries to know what's obvious. If Lagos had a population of 5 million, it would have been a different case.

An Igbo-Efik/Ibibio marraige is no biggie. It's something that's usually not even discussed cos it's not worth discussing. Igbos and their Efik/Ibibio neigbors have a lot in common and are not very far apart. So, i don't think you'll have a problem there as far as cultural difference is concerned.

If recent events are anything to go by, then it is safe to say that Ngige has secured victory in the coming Anambra elections because the Actors that could have challenged him have either been disqualified or in a state of disarray. Ngige lost the last Gubernatorial election to Peter Obi simply because Obi was the incumbent. Now that Obi is out of the picture, i think the race is now open but Ngige stands a very goods chance because his followership in Anambra state is massive and it was evident in the votes he got at the last election. The person that would have challenged him and probably won is Chukwuma Soludo but he's been schemed out of the picture. Soludo would have used his relative popularity and the popularity of APGA to get to Awka government house. Willy Obaino cannot win an election in Nigeria because he's a relative political nonentity in Anambra. The popularity of his party(APGA) and the support of the incumbent governor may get him some votes but that will not be enough to win. As for the candidates of the two PDP factions, i think they should just forget it cos a house divided among itself cannot stand. So, invariably the loss of these people is Ngige's gain. My name is Afamefuna and due to events that have schemed Soludo out of the race, i hereby lend my support to Chris Nwabueze Ngige to become the governor of Anambra state.

A lot of things have changed in the last few months...let's discuss them.

If the story is true then it's a shame that a grown azz adult could take her life because of an Ipad. If she was a teenager or a university student, i would have reasoned a little bit with her, but a forty something year old woman? In Ondo and not Lagos? This shows the level of moral decadence in our society.

People are asking why some other Nigerian cities especially Abuja did not make the cut. It's simple, cities that were considered are megacities and cities of importance. If Abuja were to be included then it would rank highly but Abuja is not the kinda city they rank. When Abuja fits into the criteria of cities that they rank, it may be as worse as Lagos because the basic variable that always makes Lagos to score lowly in these rankings in the disparity in the ratio of the population and the social amenities. The infrastructure in Lagos is meant for the at most 4 million people but here we have over 10 million people scrambling for these amenities, so in a long time to come, Lagos will keep ranking low because the population keeps increasing and the amenities are not increasing in tandem with the population.

While i agree that Lagos is one of the worst cities in the world, i think it's sheer ignorance on the part of these foreign organizations to put Lagos and Terrorism in the same sentence. It's just a pointer that these people have no idea about Nigeria and Lagos in particular.
