that would be a very attack minded right sided but dont u think we would be weak defensively on that side with zaha in front of valencia?

i get ur reservations about jones but i think he is actually more comfortable on the ball than d ungainly smalling.

montelik: Fellaini is not what we are looking for. He looks less than average as central midfield. £25m is too much.
u too dey see am? if you take out his aerial presence in and around the box the guy is actually really limited when it comes to actually playing football.

he can succeed in a mid-table team but i doubt if he will make it in any top team that tries to play attractive nd flowing football

dayokanu: He is pardoned, EPL fans have been known to be extremely ignorant
u guys should be concerned pep guardiola is turning bayern into a less incisive possession hungry version
of last season's treble winners.

congrats on ur win,but u guys needed an injury time equalizer against a chelsea team that played with 10 men
for about 30 percemt of d match?

montelik: Finally smart moves. Grab De Rossi at a discount and then scout, identify and go in for the main targets next summer if Tom C and co haven't stepped up enough. Any player we try to buy now, we will have to pay an insane premium.

Unfortunately Roma won't be too eager after just losing Lamela. But they now have the resources to bring in replacements.
read somewhere that roma accepted the bid but de rossi was not interested

chamotex: He isn't playing with the senior team, he's playing with the reserves. Most of his training is with Warren Joyce and Nicky Butt
How do you expect him to get games now when everyone is fit? Kagawa has yet to feature, Zaha, Nani, Chicharito are yet to come in. Young only just played a handful of minutes in the last game.
I'm a big fan of his and this is not about what I want, it's about what is going to happen realistically.

About going on loan, that's why I said as long as it's the right team, it will do him more good than harm.
ok.well i hope whatever decision is made concerning him is d best long term for both player and club.
however i suspect they wont send him on loan just yet.like u said a loan deal might not be a bad idea if its d right circumstances
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by afrodoc(m): 8:09pm On Aug 30, 2013
chamotex: It shouldn't make any huge difference since he has the talent right?
Why waste an extra year that could be used to get valuable playing experience.
If training with the first team alone aids development then most players do not need to go on loan then
Why cant he break into the first team at 19 if he goes on loan at 18.
He can't be training with the first team on a regular and then playing reserve games, it doesn't work like that.
The earlier the better...and then proper assessment can be made on his future.
who said if he trains regularly with the senior team he would be restricted to reserve games.this boy is good enough and can play a part in double figure games as we speak.and there is even no guarantee he will feature in matches if sent on loan especially if the manager of that team is under pressure and not ready to trust such a young player.
a year with the senior team now is not a year wasted in the long term.if he goes on loan again and has to make adjustments again just 2 years after moving to england it might stunt his growth.i believe wt d guy needs NOW is continuity and limited playing time with d senior team
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by afrodoc(m): 7:53pm On Aug 30, 2013
chamotex: You think those names are better than PSG's in terms of creativity?
Toulalan and Kondogbia are not creative players though neither is Moutinho
PSG has been suffering from lack of creativity from midfield for a couple of years now.their game lacks fluidity and
they usually have to depend on individual brilliance from zlatan or one of their other forwards to bail them out
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by afrodoc(m): 7:51pm On Aug 30, 2013
chamotex: Actually it's more beneficial at his age now. It will aid his development.
Is it until he is 20 before he goes on loan? That is the age he should be looking to break into the first team for good.
A handful of games wont do him any good compared to more games on loan.
He trains mostly with the reserves and would probably only feature in the Capital One cup realistically.
If he has the talent, then he should shine at a mid table or lower league side.
i said 19,next year. and ur point of him training with the reserves is why i said he should be trainig with the first team
cleverley, welbeck and beckham all went on loan at 19 and not before.personally i think he should train and play more with the first team for now and get used to whats expected of him.he can go on loan if necessary when he turns 19
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by afrodoc(m): 7:37pm On Aug 30, 2013
moutinho, toulalan, kondogbia, ocampo and james rodriguez ...not a bad midfield for AS Monaco.
possibly better than PSG's midfield especially in terms of creativity
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by afrodoc(m): 7:30pm On Aug 30, 2013
i am not saying going on loan is bad.i just look at januzaj's age and talent and i believe he would benefit
more from training with the big boys for now and playing in a handful of matches for this first senior season of his.

when he turns 19 next year then he can go on loan (if necessary) and get more match experience.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by afrodoc(m): 7:15pm On Aug 30, 2013
januzaj is just 18 so i believe he still has time to develop.
however i actually think he would benefit more from training alongside players of the class of carrick, rooney, kagawa
for now and playing a handful of matches rather than going on loan and playing with mediocre players.

i am of the opinion that the really talented players should have a full season with the senior squad first and at the end of season u reassess them and consider a loan for the next season.
going on loan too early could affect some players negatively as they mix with average players and they get used to low expectations

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by afrodoc(m): 4:05pm On Aug 30, 2013
i agree.
like i said before SAF and David Gill leaving at the same time was a big mistake.
important to get the new manager in early preseason but david gill could have delayed leaving until d end of this transfer window.this woodward is scary o,i hope he is not an ivan gazidis in sheep's clothing?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by afrodoc(m): 3:29pm On Aug 30, 2013
its just disheartening to see the pillar to post nature of our transfer moves.
there seems to be no design or coherent strategy.what i can surmise is that moyes
probably wants a CM who is good on the ball e.g Modric,Fabregas,Thiago,Herrera AND Fellaini.
i say this cos fellaini is d only player of his ilk we r linked to while we continue being linked to
a plethora of other similar possession midfielders.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by afrodoc(m):
Mr_TA: I've heard his name but in truth I've never seen Herrera play. Either way 30mill is way over the top.
u must have seen play.he was a major part of the athletic bilbao midfield that embarrassed us in the europa league 2 seasons ago.bigger things were expected of him subsequently even at d national level but the emergence of isco, ilaramendi
thiago and the poor season bilbao had last time out have pushed him to d sidelines.
a good passer of the ball, not as careful with as cleverley but more incisive also.
having said that 30million euro is over d top
i still dey siddon look sha

they are loaded,not overloaded.
their weakness is their manager who tends to overthink issues and complicate things

bxg: Nd wer busy chasing unrealistic targets wen deir cheap alternatives under our noses our scouting team is useless
i agree fully.there are good central midfielders that can improve our midfield in terms of both quality and depth.
i really need to know who played the board over that fabregas saga, cos definitely someone was being lied to
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by afrodoc(m): 10:27pm On Aug 28, 2013
bxg: He isn't a striker more of an attacking mf/wg....plus seems deir also getting Eriksson from Ajax...Lots of Good midfield signings for spurs
yeah u r right.eriksen could slot in behind the striker and dembele drops deeper into midfield.
spurs central midfield options will be 2 from dembele, paulinho, capoue, sandro shocked
and against tough teams they could field 3 out of the 4
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by afrodoc(m): 9:51pm On Aug 28, 2013
LOL i like it.it would be a good challenge for our bench players.
they wont underestimate liverpool the way they underestimate those wycombe and plymouth teams
its not like we need the league cup anyway
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by afrodoc(m): 9:41pm On Aug 28, 2013
he is not a central striker .u shouldnt compare him to strikers.he plays mainly on the right or behind the main striker.
so he is to replace lennon or play behind the striker(soldado).
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by afrodoc(m): 9:30pm On Aug 28, 2013
coogar: 19 league goals in the last 2 seasons? i was a better striker at 22.
2 seasons ago he struggled but last season alone he scored 15 goals in the serie A
and thats a big jump from 4 to 15
PLUS he is not a central striker
