the 3 most dangerous players in the Crystal Palace side are Jedinak,Gayle and possibly Puncheon plus they got one young attacking midfielder (cant recall the name right now).
we have to nullify Gayle's runs and especially Jedinak's physicality who can be a beast in the Fellaini mode

Fabville: This is my last post on this issue because it doesn't worth it when you keep on twisting what you wrote in English Language and not Japanese or Dutch.

You posted above above the bold. The first part of a football season in England ends in December and we always have about 4.5 months of active football within this period.

According to his record of appearances that i posted previously, Hargreaves appeared in 11 EPL and 1 UCL matches within that period. He played full time (90mins) in eight of the eleven appearances, average of over seventy mins in the remaining three matches. He spent the least time in a match within this period in the only UCL game he appeared in which was eleven mins.

These twelve matches altogether simply means that he played actively for about three months considering the fact that he played a game per week. Three months out of four and a half months gives us one and a half months that he did not appear in any match.

Where did you now see your THREE MONTHS?

He played eight full time (90mins) games between August 19th, 2007 and December 29th, 2007. The only UCL game was against Sporting on 27th November, 2007.

My question to you elampiro is:

1. How come a player who was not fit could have played full time in eight games?
2. How did you arrive at your two to three full games from 1st September to almost November ending?
3. How do you determine fitness when record shows that he actually played nine hundred and fifty four minutes (954mins) in all competition?
4. Why do you keep on distorting facts?

I am done with this because it doesn't worth it at all when you keep on twisting and distorting facts.
nicely put.elamps baba! kilonsele! where are the 3 months that hargreaves missed between august and december ending?

1. I accept the error- Kean didn't play final. However, it just but boost Hargreaves again. He is on 100%. Had he continued for us, we should have added at least one more. But Scholes
too was missing in the important games of 1999. To drive the point home, Kean and Butt started ahead of the shadow marker Scholes.

2. You said if one plays 10 Hargreaves against Barca one will still be disgraced? That is a lie. Why did they not disgrace Inter Milan and Bayern? How many times have they beaten Chelsea? United were beaten in scores and possession hands down.

3. Whether Kean won nothing for 2.5 year didn't matter. What matters was that he benched Scholes in Turin in their biggest match ever. Why did SAF play Kean and Butt ahead od Scholes?

4. Hargreaves playing from the right back against Barca meant the threat from Messi, Iniester, Eto were far reduced. These were the guys who love to attack from the side into the box. That was a big decision SAF took that helped us.

5. Don't even compare Kagawa to Sneijder in winning balls.

coogar: i doubt he would play tomorrow - this would further heighten the anxiety of the japanese football fans. ozil that played in europe is a doubt, how much more kagawa that went to south east asia.

we should give him 60 mins against leverkusen on tuesday and wrap him in cotton wool for the etihad battle next week! kagawa must play that game otherwise i would stick needles in the eyes of moyes' voodoo dolls!
thats what i would like . welbeck to start this match,he would be fresher.he played just one match in the international break and didnt have to travel.
kagawa can play for about 60-70minutes in the champs league match midweek

other crucial questions are does fellaini start the match and which of our wingers do we play? linked to that is when does zaha get game time?

Butt preferred to Scholes in big games? u r really hilarious.

1)in the quarter final against Inter 1st leg at Old Trafford Keane and Scholes started,Butt did not play......2nd leg Scholes came in and scored,Butt did not play

2)against Barcelona home and away Scholes started, Butt was on the bench

3)against Bayern Munich Scholes started,Butt was on the bench

4)in the FA Cup final against Newcastle Scholes played and scored,Butt was "not involved"

from the above does it look like Butt was preferred to Scholes in big matches to you? You took the exception and made it the rule

where do you come up with these bits of alternative history?

Fabville: The guy reads a lot of articles from bloggers and he believes so much in bloggers even if what the blogger wrote is totally in contrast to what he himself sees. The moment he posted an article to support all that he had said about Hargreaves, that confirmed what i was thinking that he must have been reading something from somewhere.

@elampiro believes so much in what he reads more than what he sees.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by afrodoc(m):
so according to elampiro
1) Roy Keane played in the 99 final

2) Sneijder is a "lion" who wins 50-50 balls unlike Kagawa

3) Messi started on the left of Barca's attack in 2008 but was chased to Evra's side by Hargreaves cheesy.......really?

4) As a corollary to no 3 above Messi was CLIPPED by Hargreaves cheesy

5) Hargreaves was preferred in big games to carrick and scholes despite the fact that in the 2nd half of the season Hargreaves started in CM in only ONE match against a top 4 team and only TWO out of 7 Champion's League matches while carrick and scholes started in 6 and 5 respectively.

Bros u might have played with karimu shaibu o cheesy but ur football analysis needs some reconfig.

UCL Knockout Stages

1) Away to Lyon Scholes,Hargreaves and Anderson in a 3 man midfield(Carrick on as a sub) game ended 1-1....home to Lyon Carrick,Fletcher and Anderson(Hargreaves on as a sub) we won 1-0

2) Away to Roma Carrick,Scholes,Anderson(Hargreaves on as a sub) we won 2-0......home to Roma Carrick,Hargreaves and and Anderson.Rooney AND Ronaldo on the bench and of course Silvestre started once again grin

3) Away to Barcelona Hargreaves played at RB nuff said............home to Barca Hargreaves at RB again
Vidic injured for both matches so Brown slid into CB and Hargreaves moved into RB

4) in the final Hargreaves at Right Midfield with Carrick and Scholes at CM.

Summary in our knock out phase Hargreaves started in CM 2 times(and one was a dead rubber match), Scholes started 5 times and Carrick started 6 times
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by afrodoc(m): 1:03am On Sep 12, 2013
1) home to Chelsea in September of the 2007/2008 season Manchester United used a 2 man midfield of Scholes and Carrick and we won 2-0

2) away to Arsenal in November it was a 2 man midfield of Hargreaves and Anderson(replaced by a returning Carrick in the 2nd half) and it ended 2-2
N.B Paul Scholes was injured for 3 months from October ending to January ending so he missed matches due to injury not coaches decision.
also Michael Carrick was making his first appearance after missing 6 weeks with an elbow injury.

Despite the 3 months lay off Paul Scholes started 22 EPL matches compared to Hargreaves starting just 16.

3) away to liverpool in december 2007 a 2 man midfield of hargreaves and anderson with carrick again coming on in the 2nd half(Scholes still injured) we won 1-0

4) 3 man midfield of carrick, anderson, scholes against liverpool in march 2008. we won 3-0.hargreaves was an unused substitute.

5) home to Arsenal in April 2008 (squeaky bum time) 3 man midfield of Scholes,Hargreaves and Carrick.Anderson came on in the 2nd half

6) away to Chelsea 3 man midfield of Carrick,Fletcher and Anderson.I believe Hargreaves came on early to play RB.we lost 2-1
scholes was rested while tevez and ronaldo on the bench (bigger fish to fry in the champs league).to buttress this fact Silvestre played! grin

ferguson started the season playing 2 man midfield even in our tough matches BUT by the 2nd half he had switched to a 3 man midfield against the same opponents.

hargreaves and anderson started 2 tough EPL matches by default mainly because Carrick and Schole were either injured or unfit
carrick was the ever present in the tough matches in the EPL in the 2nd half of the season

i am a cleverley fan but the truth is the guy has regressed in recent times.its all good having 90 percent pass accuracy but when that is at the expense of incisive play then there is a problem.

when he first came on board he and anderson were known for their quick interchange and FORWARD play but it seems without anderson he lost that mojo.well thats not good enough to start regularly for United in my books.

i am hoping the signing of fellaini will be the kick up the backside that cleverley needs as his United and England place come under threat.this could spur him to revert to the old cleverley.with carrick as a sideways possession junkie we need his partner to be more proactive and take a few more risks otherwise our game would be too pedestrian and easy to defend against.

i wasnt in support of fellaini coming on cos i preferred a modric or fabregas BUT i dont think signing him will be a calamity.as was stated earlier by Purist his poor disciplinary record has been exaggerated.

We could have done a lot better on d market no doubt.
But now he is a United player he needs supoort from the fans.he has weaknesses we know but he also has his strengths.
Big names have failed before while there have also been some unexpected success stories.
Fellaini is not the best out there but is an improvement IMO on cleverley and anderson who have both regressed for different reasons

Madrid only became more valuable a few months ago. partly because of our recent poor Champions League display the last 2 seasons . United was standing head and shoulder above Madrid for years. It's pity you had to wait all these years to have the opportunity to gloat about how Madrid is
more valuable than United. lol

And the currency played a huge part on their revenue period.

With all things considered (again, currency and individual tv deal ) the Glazers are doing a damn good job.

I'm not dwelling on anything, I'm just trying to tell you it didn't take the genius of Perez to earn them so much in tv revenue which ultimately inflated their overall revenue. it was as a result of the tv distribution system in the Spanish league which gave them an unfair advantage over us. had it been a level playing field, your incredible Perez wouldn't be looking that incredible.

Regarding shirt sales. If you had read what I wrote correctly, it would have saved you the stress of surfing through the internet searching for photos to post here. I said Madrid didn't sell moreshirts than United which is a fact.

It is clear what your mission is here, even though you'll deny it.the fact that left your own club's blog to come here referring to Manchester United as Manure shows you for what you are.
exactly.those stats he provided showed that no club sold more shirts than United globally.

Say what you want about Everton, I don't care as long as we're winning, insists Moyes

David Moyes has launched a staunch defence of his tactics and admitted he 'doesn’t care about criticism' so long as Everton keep winning.

The fallout from the Merseyside derby saw Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard and manager Brendan Rodgers comment on Everton’s approach – Gerrard later retracted his words – but this is not the first Moyes has seen his team criticised.

Sir Alex Ferguson also accused Everton of playing long balls on the opening weekend of the campaign but Moyes says he has paid no attention to disparaging remarks. He is thrilled with the way Everton are performing and wants them to continue at Fulham.

Happy to prove people wrong: Everton's manager David Moyes says he will take criticism while Everton are still winning

'I really don't care what people are saying about us,’ said the Scot. ‘We have to keep doing what we are doing, which is getting results. I think people who have watched us will say we're playing really well.

'But more importantly if you ask our fans they'll tell you they're happy with the way we're playing, and ask managers - they'll say they are impressed by what we've achieved. I genuinely don't bother. The facts prove it's not the case (that Everton play long balls).

'I don't actually care how we win so long as we win but we have been doing it in style and I think our football has been outstanding at times, it really has. I watched Chelsea play Bayern Munich in the Champions' League final and they didn't come out at all, they hit it long.

Star signing: Kevin Mirallas has played a key role in Everton's good start to the season

'But they are European champions. That means they played the right way on the night. There are different ways of playing. The most important thing is to win.’

Part of Everton’s transformation this season has stemmed from the outstanding impact Kevin Mirallas has made since his £5million arrival from Olympiakos in August, the Belgian’s pace, dexterity and eye for goal have quickly made him a terrace favourite.

He was outstanding in the 2-2 draw with Liverpool and there is reason to believe Everton would have actually won the Merseyside derby had Mirallas not been forced off at half-time with an ankle problem. Moyes is confident he will be fit to play at Craven Cottage.

Man of many positions: Moyes likes players like Steven Pienaar due to their versatility
Man of many positions: Moyes likes players like Steven Pienaar due to their versatility

'Kevin has gives us another dimension,’ said Moyes, who beat off competition from Porto and Arsenal to sign the 24-year-old.’ I’m surprised, if I'm honest, at how quickly he's settled in, because I was worried at the start of the season he wasn't ready to play 90 minutes in the Premier League.

'Yet he seemed to relish the challenge in the derby and in some of the tough away games we have had there have been real signs. You can see he can be a top, top player. His record of scoring goals is really good too, and I think there is that to come from him.

'Maybe in the second half of the season we'll see that from him. He can play in any of the three positions across the front line. I like that about us: we have some versatility, because (Steven) Pienaar can play in different positions too and we want options and alternatives.

'We want to ensure we are not one-dimensional in games. Kevin is coming to terms with the Premier League now. Every single game here you have to grind out a result. Mybe where he has played before, there have been a few ‘gimmes’ when you can ease off. You can't do that here.’http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2227224/David-Moyes-does-mind-criticism-Everton-winning.html
bro i think u should cut moyes some slack on this one.until he proves me wrong i will give him d opportunity to show us how he intends our players to play.
it is very possible he was merely utilizing the resources he had at everton the best he could, now he has better players and more flair at his disposal he might be willing to play more attractive football.

but going forward he is more ambitious than sideweays cleverley and will be able to improve our transition game while carrick sits
