♛AndrERush♛:totally agree |
coogar: buy ozil first - raid any bottom club with a decent hatchet man and we are sorted. there are millions of players like herrerra in the french league. not to many ozils in the world. getting the scarce commodity first should be the main priority - the herreras can wait till 11pm.well lets see what happens . Fellaini,Herrera,Ozil,De Rossi etc 2 of them should come in |
coogar: yes, it's mccarthy.....i think we should strengthen central midfield first but u have a good point there. truth is if we buy ozil i will be very very ok with it but it should be as an addition to a central midfielder not instead of a central midfielder |
coogar: yes, that guy was as good as carrick if not better than last season. he cannot be more than £5m. he would reduce his wages to play for us sef.thats McCarthy (the younger one) not Mcarthur. he was quite good last season, but its a big step up from Wigan to United as Valencia has proved.i need to see more of him Ozil is a good player but his best position is behind d striker where we already have Rooney and Kagawa jostling for position.our priority should be someone who can play with Carrick in central midfield but has more in his locker going forward than Cleverley |
superstar1: Report indicates Anders Herrara has lowered his wages from GBP4mm to GBP3mm in his bid to get his move to Unitedyes i read same thing.seems d guy is very interested in coming to United.thats a first ! ![]() last last last we don see babe wey like us |
hopefully herrera or another quality CM coming will send cleverley to the bench where he belongs. and i really believe some bench time will do him some good.like some have said he showed some promise initially but he has now being infected with d spirit of sideways and backward passing AND he he is not aggressive enough in his forward play. having such a player partnering carrick in midfield has placed too much pressure on our wingers to offer the creativity we need but unfortunately they also suffering from their own malaise at d moment . @Ruudie its not like fans are panicking (at least i am not) and its not even the results BUT i struggle to remember a stretch of games in which United have struggled so badly to create chances.right from preseason its been the recurring decimal in our games, the lack of chances created for an increasingly frustrated strike force esp RVP. the last match was like watching Everton playing in United jersey. |
as a winger if you make ZERO dribbles in a match and u make ONE accurate cross out of NINE like Ashley Young did you know u had a tough day at the office. while there has been so much said about our lack of creativity from central/attacking midfield an insidious problem developing is the lack of quality wing play from our players. when a team has wingers that are unable to deliver an accurate cross (Young,Valencia), unable to beat a man (Giggs), and unwilling to even take their marker on (Young) then you know that Manchester United wing play has gone to the dogs. I believe in the medium term starting shirts will go to Zaha and Nani |
coogar: young of today was better than everyone in the midfield that started the game.makes for interesting reading. however whoscored.com gave ashley young the 2nd lowest player rating in our team today, only higher than RVP maybe because young had 0 dribbles, 0 shot on target, and just 1 accurate cross from NINE attempts! |
SailorXY: I think Fergie purposely left this midfield this poor to satisfy Giggs' quest for "breaking records" cuz aint no way you'll have a Dembele, Witsel, Pogba, Pastore, Hazard, Essien & several other missed CM targets on the bench only to start Giggs in CMFtrue.though that pastore na jobber! common french league he dey struggle like person with marasmus.he is the major problem PSG struggle to break down teams cos thats what he was brought in to do.allowing pogba to leave was a bad mistake, already looking better than all our midfielders AND he just STARTED developing |
chamotex: Arsenal don't need players abeg u wan start kasala |
this moyes na were o. so even with rooney injured kagawa cold not get a place on the bench? AND he started an elder like giggs? what message does that tell the rest of the squad? that a soon to be 40yr old player-coach who has been playing woefully is preferred to start important matches? |
coogar: it remains to be seen.....just correcting ur statement that vidic is left footed.we all know he is not comfortable with d ball at his feet |
mithel: spurs are playing shit, possession doesnt win you games, at the moment they have over 60% of it and arsenal's chances have been more threatening ,kinda reminds someone of one yeye german team that wont gree they were very inefficientyeah they do need to be more direct the way andros townsend is going on d right |
Mr_TA: I'm more irritated by the fact Giggs started this match while Moyes just said he had to choose between Kagawa and Nani for one place on the bench than anything else.is dt what he said? |
coogar: how was young poor? he made the first cross as early as the 2nd or 3rd minute. he kept the ball well, retained possession and if evra had been more clever with the ball, something would have come out of their combo in the first half. young's side of the pitch was our only penetration in the game until nani/valencia were reunited!I agree that giggs was poor, but young did not exactly cover himself in glory either. FYI Nemanja Vidic is RIGHT FOOTED just that he plays on d left side of defence usually cos he is more comfortable there than d other centrebacks apart from mayb evans |
remove capoue and bring on lamela . i wan make we play music for here too today ![]() dayo ,no lock up instruments o |
coogar: young was very good...young was poor.he kept getting the ball backing his marker and as a result kept passing the ball back to vidic and rio giggs and nani on the other hand were able to face the full backs even if their final ball was inconsistent. vidic had a near howler back pass and rio was partially culpable for the goal after young's mess up. poor performance all round |
♛AndrERush♛:nice one.good talk but our wingers are all off form or unfit and u know how much we depend on good wingplay plus we are not even creating any chances at all |
debosky: Some people were seeing 'positives' from the nonsense of Monday. I hope y'all see some more positives in this performance.debosky see as u dey be like bebelube? better no talk yet cos i foresee spurs nacking u guys deep seated apako today meanwhile is it a sin to see positives and negatives? ![]() unlike gunners who keep seeing silver lining at subterranean levels ![]() |
capricornian: TO THINK THIS TEAM IS GOING TO PLAY CHAMPIONS LEAGUEomo i dey fear o. e b like say this moyes na one chance coach sha |
elampiro: The hub is clearing missing- Rooney. No one to hold the ball & cordinate. Except De Gea, Vidic & Valencia, everyone else has been clueless.bros go sit down! not everything is about rooney ![]() u sounding like an overplayed and broken record |
chamotex: How terrible can Giggs get?he can get worse than this.the legs have just plain gone now and he was never the greatest or most careful passer of the ball. i am almost certain he wont last until the end of the season, its becoming so obvious he is past it.watch out for a gary nevillesque mid-season retirement |
nateevs: Ordinary United.very ordinary. infact EXTRA ordinary |
van persie is an idiot!!! is he planning to gt sent off or what? |
coogar can u see how useless young has been on the left? |
carrick AND cleverley on yellow plus rvp.red dey smell |
at all at all liverpool's pressing game denying our midfielders ball and silly individual errors everywhere |
remove giggs and bring on nani |
i believe kagawa must be injured not to even make the match day squad |
coogar: @MUFCXI : De Gea; Jones, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra; Valencia, Cleverley, Carrick, Welbeck; Kagawa, Van Persie. #MUFCsoccernet has giggs there instead of kagawa |
and elampiro and fabville pls lets discuss the match at hand instead of rehashing United's admittedly glorious past. having said that i think fab and ander are correct ![]() oya with dt outta d way what u guys think abt today's match |
coogar: if we play welbeck behind van persie today, we will beat liverpool. young on the left, valencia on the right. kagawa/chicharito can come on later in the game.very attack minded lineup there and i sure wont complain too much with that. just that playing young on the left turns him into a "cut back and whip in inswinger one way master" ,he doesnt even try to beat his man or take him on at all. welbeck behind van persie aint bad and valencia is manageable if he can learn to whip in early crosses instead of always trapping d ball and trying to beat his man to d byline with d pace he seems to have lost a bit of |
