how are they worse than rooney? rooney had a longer time to improve his performance against a tiring palace side that went a man down since the first half. if rooney was taken off at the time young went off, your tune would be different.



a beautiful cross can be floated into a box and if no player connects it, it would be deemed inaccurate. if a fluked cross gets floated and a striker manages to connect with it, it's an accurate cross.

in a nutshell, what makes a cross accurate depends on the recipient. the crosser does not know if his cross would be met by an opposing defender or his teammate. they just cross & hope for the best.

then Ashley Young must be specially unlucky cos this season he has made 20 crosses and only ONE was accurate!

elampiro: Overall, we weren't impressive against 10 men. However we can console ourselves when we consider even in SAF era we have had times we struggle to get off the block and ended up with the title. With time, the players will get used to the new tactics and improve in attacking creativity.

the guy has great touch and technique and he has got vision and passing to back it up.and dont forget he is 18,he will get bigger

Young's assist was an indirect one through a possible ref error and his on target shot was a poor shot at the keeper from point blank range

i dont want this boy januzaj to be loaned out.
he is 18,let him train with the big boys and play the odd match with United first and in January or season end IF u think he is not ready then u can send him on loan.
however in my opinion this boy is ready to contribute,maybe not in the biggest matches but at least in some home matches against minnows(where he might not have to put in much of a defensive shift)

what a relief - i was beginning to divide £250,000 per number of minutes without a goal.

young made the match easier for us. he got a man sent off smartly. we got a goal from the incident. young then produced a masterclass performance in the 2nd half.

he made the job easier no doubt but inadvertently so.i am looking medium to long term.
