[s]What Will Be The FATE Of APC After 2015 Presidential Election[/s]Silly thread, Please change it to what will be the fate of Dr. Jonathan, after he loses 2015 election? What will he dedicate his time to? Traveling? Or fishing in Otuoke? Will Mamma Peace busy herself with frying/smoking the fish for him the Otuoke style? ![]() |
XketchDesigns:I tell u. And the money will come out of the state coffers as well. Kai. May God help this country. |
Nonybb:Silly post. Pls replace the highlighted with GEJ. Why didn’t he confront the terrorists initially with like 25% of our military resources given the size of that region? Assuming a decisive action has been taken against the terrorists initially, the situation won't have deteriorated into the present situation where they are holding parts of the country to ransome. If na election, dem sabi release plenty soldiers. Everything just seems like a coordinated attempt to have that region in disarray before the general elections. And back to the topic... Why do we like massaging our ego in this country? These are not pictures of military deployment to battle. |
soma042:Thanks for educating me. My mind was fixed on only those truck like ones used for troop movement. Albeit, the report still lacks professionalism. It would have been better if the reporter stated that the Colonel was commanding an armoured unit than stating that he was commanding 3 APCs. He/She may then go further to state the assets being utilized by the unit. And for your information, I never claimed to be a military expert. The news was not written for military experts only; it is for public consumption. |
The way they report news these days is baffling (especially Vanguard). The reporter said the colonel was commanding 3 APCs. He then went to talk about the fire power of Nigerian Armoured tanks. APCs are for conveying personnel. While an Armoured tank can be used for offense and defence as necessary. They are different! If the reporter told us the man was the commanding officer for a tank unit or an armoured unit, it will make more sense. The report is somehow. Anyways, anyone found wanting in the discharge of his function in the military should be dealt with timely and appropriately in line with military code. We cannot afford to play with disciplinary issues in the military at this critical time. That will be an invitation to total anarchy. |
christopher123:Cut the guy some slack. You can't force your opinion on another person. If he says he's not Igbo, then let him be. |

This should be on the front page! We need to let everyone know the China success story. |
TRUTHTELA: Very silly comparison by the Op. Why are you tribalising issues? Linda has millions of fans that cut across the different ethnic groups in Nigeria. She is a success and she's being celebrated by people of different ethnic groups. Don't you dare bring your shallow, bigoted, tribalistic mentality into her business. Your last disclaimer, that I highlighted is the new strategy of tribalistic and highly bigoted souls. They will throw insults at other people, they will now be claiming neutral observer thereafter. You must think yourself smart, bringing the Linda Ikeji issue up and because of the high number of fans she has and the impressive support she is getting on this issue, you now cunningly brought President Jonathan into the picture. We can see through your dirty scheme. The issues are very different, dont bring them together. I like LIB, appreciate her efforts and contributions to the society and I empathise with her during this traumatic period. President Jona on the other hand has failed this country. He didnt deliver up to expections and has compounded Nigeria's problems. |
A big congratulations to China! This is the success result a country gets when it has a no-nonsense leadership with zero tolerance to corruption and a massive hardworking population. Nigeria! This is a lesson for you! We have the resources, we have the population and we have hardworking folks who will persevere to the last breath until success is achieved. But unfortunately we lack good leadership. We lack selfless leadership. What we have are voracious and rapacious leaders who are only concerned with stealing as much as they can for themselves and their family. What we have are leaders whose only objective when they attain leadership positions is how to perpetuate themselves in power. The billions that are being looted in Nigeria from the Federal Govt, to the states to the Local government if put to right use will transform this country and set us on an enviable position in the global stage. We need to do all we can to stamp out corruption in this country! That is what is killing us and drawing us back! Given our resources and our die-hard spirit, there is no reason why we should not have constant power supply, good roads, good schools, standard hospitals, low unemployment, etc. I am seriously and particularly pained about the power issue. As I am typing this post now (around 12 am in Lag) different generators in my street (mine included) are making a hell of a noise, disturbing my peace. Why should we be crawling when we can be flying?? I once read an article some years back, when China became the 2nd largest economy on how long it will take them to overtake the US. I cant remember the figure the article gave then, but it was quite a long time. I was seriously surprised when I read this news on the internet today that they are now the largest economy using PPP (Purchasing Power Parity) as the yardstick, I had to do some browsing to confirm from other sources before believing. The China story is a perfect example of someone who refused to crawl, walk, run, but is now flying! Nigeria! When are we going to stop crawling and start flying?! ![]() |

Ngwakwe:And you think they will go on air if indeed this is an unwarranted suspicion? Please shut up with this your anti national progress rant!! It is becoming obvious by the day now, the people that are anti national progress. |
This is getting messier by the day. All you doubters casting aspersions on the APC for this revelation; recall that it was the same way your lots were abusing Sahara reporters when they informed Nigerians that the jet belongs to the CAN president. I'm sure after the news fully breaks out you will have another thing to say. pathetic people |
fkaz:I wasn't referring to you. I was referencing you to the other guy. |
Demdem:Are you sure about that? Nyako played a key role in the case that enabled the deputy to win as someone stated earlier. fkaz: |
gabriel212:It seems both of them are kind of close to each other. I mean Nyako and his deputy. Because Nyako also assisted him in the case by stating that he did not receive any communication of resignation from him. |
House please what will happen if PDP appeals immediately and then file for a stay of action pending the determination of the appeal? |
I will comment after getting today's court ruling. |

This is crap, and only aimed at drumming up ethnic sentiments towards the 2015 election. This is the handiwork of the PDP. If one reads it well, u'll see how insults were subtly delivered to the minority tribes in the North and the Yorubas. It is still part of PDP calculation towards 2015, to pocket the votes of the minority tribes in the north, a good percentage of Yoruba and with the heavy chunk they are expecting from the SS & SE, they hope to win. And it is following the same pattern daily. They post a topic maligning the support base of the opposition and their supporters. Before u know it, their own supporters & paid agents quickly storm the post to attest to its authenticity and continue the strategy of drumming up ethnic rivalry by attacking the main support base of the opposition, calling them all sorts of names and demonising them to the best of their ability. This hatred they are sowing and using as a winning strategy, when the kasala will burst....only God will set us free. And unfortunately, it is the common man that will suffer the most |
Vanguard needs to be cautioned about the way they report news. They purposely report news to stir up ethnic sentiments. A radio station played this same role in Rwanda during the genocide. I still have not come to the conclusion of what they aim to achieve by stirring up ethnic strife at any given opportunity. Every reasonable Nigerian should take not of this observation. If they are sure of their news, why withholding the name of the person? Why not categorically state the identity of the cowardly General? And as such let the whole country know the individuals frustrating the Army? Why reporting in such a way that a particular tribe is to be maligned instead of an individual? I'm referencing Vanguard as most blogs picked the news from them and twisted the title. |
