Lol. State project? Without the backing of the FG it's bullshit. Without the FG to regulate the custom services in the ports it's impossible. State Project? Yes, but with the order of the FG.
correction.

.... state project, yes, but with the support of the FG. Not order. The FG does not order states around on how to spend their money.

The Lagos state govt in conjunction with some investors are the proponents of the project. They had to involve the FG due to some inconsistencies in our constitution that put some items under the exclusive legislative list.

They curried the favour of the FG and got approval for the project. There is nothing stopping other states from doing same. And I think Akwa Ibom is even doing something similar.

Know this right from time, hate or love it, the eternal sacred order of cherubium and seraphim has been the bedrock and nurturer of huge number of Pentecostal brands many of which their founders left because they were not given ranks or privileges when they deserved no such (some really did leave due to spiritual instructions)

I rep C&S
Continue deceiving yourself.

The Bible says:

"There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.

God is not restricted. He uses people as he deemed fit, and no one can question this sovereignty.

There is so much arrogance and pride in your assertion that majority of people that left C and S did so just because they were not given leadership positions.

Doing which well? Is it the PSP operators whose trucks breakdown as regularly as their irregularity in coming around to evacuate refuse? Just imagine the stench from a dump truck parked outside your compound for two weeks! Sometimes for three weeks to a month or even more, you wouldn't see them. Refuse would pile up and cars would be jostling for space with mounds of refuse. Yet they would be sending bills on a regular. If this is what counts as doing well in your books, then you don't deserve to live in civilized society.
And the solution is to send them away and bring in an outfit that does not have the capacity and effectiveness the people that were sent away had?

The govt should have looked for a way to increase the efficiency of the existing system. An adage says you don't throw away the bath water with the baby.

They should have supported them with this their new initiate and gradually increase the capacity of this CLI.

The inefficiency of the PSPs became noticeable after Ambode came on board and was making a lot of moves to frustrate them.

Before he came, they were regularly coming (at least in my area). When they started delaying and coming once a week. We asked what the issue was, they said they have to go all the way to Epe from the mainland to discharge, that govt has stopped them from discharging at the previously approved places.

Now, for the past 6 weeks, my area has not seen any waste disposal team.

The CLI has not set foot here and with wastes mounting to unimaginable quantities, this has brought back the Abo.kis. And you know these ones will just carry the wastes and dump them anywhere they like.

I just can't understand why a sane human being will just indiscriminately dump heap of refuse on walkway, gutter, canal, roads etc....
I swear to god these kinda stuff just piss me off anytime i see in.... I recommend a very strict punishment where whoever is caught be made to clear every rubbish and dirt in the vicinity....
Also if you have a shop, house or place and you allow refuse to be dumped there, you should be made to clear every damn thing...
You are ignoring the main issue.

Same with the govt. The people are bringing out the waste to dump on the roads because waste disposal teams have not been coming to their inner streets and markets to evacuate them.

Even if they evacuate all the waste on the street in a jiffy, it will come back in two days. If they put out policemen at night, people will start dumping the refuse in drainage and any free spots.

The PSPs were the ones going into the inner streets and the markets to clear the wastes. And it has been working since.

Ambode wants to greedily corner that business and it is seriously backfiring.

They should address the underlying issues speedily if they still have an iota of same and sobriety.

They should bring back the PSPs. Those guys have invested their time, money and intellect in the business.

Ambode is being selfish and not sending right signals to local investors by pushing them away like that.

This VisionScape does not have the capacity to cover the entire Lagos.

Those other guys invested in the business and were doing well, all of a sudden, Ambode came and sent them away. This is no way to encourage local investors at all.

Even if you want to bring this VisionScape in, first allocate an area to them and let them show their competence and develop their skills.

And do a phased withdrawal of the PSPs.

Sen. Sani is actually very qualified to be president of a diverse state as Nigeria.
He understands democracy, he understands the diversity of Nigeria but he lacks executive experience.

BUT, i personally prefer Atiku because most of the big dogs holding Nigeria hostage can be checkmated by Atiku's immense political experience and grassroot support spread almost uniformly across Nigeria.
You are saying this because you dont fully believe in the authority reposed on an elected official by the electorate.

If he gets elected, he has the mandate of the masses to shut the mouths of lions. And he can appoint and fire service chiefs as circumstances dictate.

Atiku na snake, he has been gaming with those guys long before now. Instead of stepping on any toes, he'll rather subtly allow their interest to be met.

Atiku cannot cannot checkmate the greedy elite holding Nigeria back. He is part of them!

What I still find baffling....

With the fact that there's too many willing women out there who are in need of men, yet this company is thriving. It shows a disconnect.
Its either the women keep pretending, and are rather waiting on the men to do the chasing, or the available women aren't living up to men's expectations anymore.
I mean, why would I buy a plastic doll, when I can have the real deal with flesh, blood, heartbeats and real emotion?

Well, if a man's fantasy is to have intercourse with an inanimate doll, he doesn't have much expectation.
For women: The game has changed o! Better step up and give out. These dolls ain't smiling!
Men's mind are becoming more and more perverted. And they cant get women willing to put up with some of those perversions, hence sex dolls are getting more popular.

Oga I stay in Lagos. Ambode is not getting it right as regards waste management and road maintenance. There is no need for hypocrisy.

He'll be given credit for what he does well and criticism in areas he is falling behind. Its not a big deal.

Fine, he is coming up with some sound novel ideas, but he needs to up his game in some other areas.

I disagree.

The PSP franchise have been been discontinued and Visionscape is now in charge.

It's basically transition-related hutches.
Does this Visionscape have the capacity to cover the entire length and breadth of the state?

I have not seen any trace of Visionscape in my neighborhood this year, and refuse is mounting up.

The PSPs were disengaged and the govt of the day did not even think it necessary to withdraw them systematically.

Everywhere is messed up now.

Ambode is really not getting it right as regards maintenance. Same story with the roads. The speed at which Public works were maintaining the roads in the days of Fashola has greatly reduced. Bad portion of the road takes ages to be attended to, if they even ever get attended to.

As regards waste management, presently, everywhere is almost covered in waste because they want to bring their own persons into the business.

The President is showing an unholy weakness in this regard.

This issue can throw up the country into crisis.

States as federating units can enact laws according to their circumstances so far that law does not conflict the constitution.

The arrogance of these herdsmen (both the ones in the bush and city) is bewildering.

The law was a response to unbridled crisis and killings. Trying to pull the wool over our eyes and claiming the law is responsible for the crisis is silly to say the least.

Anambra Central controversy: Court cancels judgement that affirmed PDP’s Obiora Okonkwo senator

An Abuja Division of the Federal High Court has set aside its December 12 judgement affirming a Peoples Democratic Party candidate, Obiora Okonkwo, as the authentic candidate to occupy the Anambra Central Senatorial seat.

In a judgement on Friday, following an application by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, the court said its previous judgement which was based on the consent of parties cannot be viewed as a final judgement on the matter.

According to the judge, John Tsoho, the judgement which was strongly relied upon by Mr. Okonkwo’s lawyer cannot be regarded as a final judgment on the matter.

“It must be realised that the judgement entered in this court is a consent judgement. It is not one on merit, therefore the court has jurisdiction to revisit it. It cannot be regarded as a final judgment”.

Mr. Tsoho held that the actions of the respondent counsel in the suit, namely the Peoples Democratic Party, which resulted in the December judgement was questionable given the Appeal Court judgement which ordered a re-election without the inclusion of the party.

“It is enough ground to set aside the decision,” Mr. Tsoho said.

Friday’s ruling means there is no legal stumbling block barring INEC from conducting Saturday’s election for the senatorial district.

Alongside the names, Wike should have released some information about the terror acts they have perpetrated to which they are being declared wanted and a bounty placed in their heads.
