Sapiosexuality:correction. .... state project, yes, but with the support of the FG. Not order. The FG does not order states around on how to spend their money. The Lagos state govt in conjunction with some investors are the proponents of the project. They had to involve the FG due to some inconsistencies in our constitution that put some items under the exclusive legislative list. They curried the favour of the FG and got approval for the project. There is nothing stopping other states from doing same. And I think Akwa Ibom is even doing something similar. |
sirusX:If you see the way those Sars guys operate, dress and act, there is a thin line between them and armed robbers. They lack discipline, if any one gets disengaged among them, it will take the grace of God for such not to become an armed robber. |
Cannonleo:Continue deceiving yourself. The Bible says: "There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory. 1 Corinthians 15:41 God is not restricted. He uses people as he deemed fit, and no one can question this sovereignty. There is so much arrogance and pride in your assertion that majority of people that left C and S did so just because they were not given leadership positions. |
What is this supposed to communicate?? I don't get it at all. What's the relationship between the coming baby and the fruits? |
boringnigerian:And the solution is to send them away and bring in an outfit that does not have the capacity and effectiveness the people that were sent away had? The govt should have looked for a way to increase the efficiency of the existing system. An adage says you don't throw away the bath water with the baby. They should have supported them with this their new initiate and gradually increase the capacity of this CLI. The inefficiency of the PSPs became noticeable after Ambode came on board and was making a lot of moves to frustrate them. Before he came, they were regularly coming (at least in my area). When they started delaying and coming once a week. We asked what the issue was, they said they have to go all the way to Epe from the mainland to discharge, that govt has stopped them from discharging at the previously approved places. Now, for the past 6 weeks, my area has not seen any waste disposal team. The CLI has not set foot here and with wastes mounting to unimaginable quantities, this has brought back the Abo.kis. And you know these ones will just carry the wastes and dump them anywhere they like. |
twentyk:You are ignoring the main issue. Same with the govt. The people are bringing out the waste to dump on the roads because waste disposal teams have not been coming to their inner streets and markets to evacuate them. Even if they evacuate all the waste on the street in a jiffy, it will come back in two days. If they put out policemen at night, people will start dumping the refuse in drainage and any free spots. The PSPs were the ones going into the inner streets and the markets to clear the wastes. And it has been working since. Ambode wants to greedily corner that business and it is seriously backfiring. They should address the underlying issues speedily if they still have an iota of same and sobriety. They should bring back the PSPs. Those guys have invested their time, money and intellect in the business. Ambode is being selfish and not sending right signals to local investors by pushing them away like that. |
Lovely woman. Take Lady Bosses for granted and they will sure treat your mess up. Though beautiful, but this particular one looks mean and resolute under. All those smiles and gap na film trick. |
This VisionScape does not have the capacity to cover the entire Lagos. Those other guys invested in the business and were doing well, all of a sudden, Ambode came and sent them away. This is no way to encourage local investors at all. Even if you want to bring this VisionScape in, first allocate an area to them and let them show their competence and develop their skills. And do a phased withdrawal of the PSPs. |
Ambode should swallow his pride and bring the PSPs back. He is not getting this right at all. |
gabinogem:My personal ashewo is different from just calling her ashewo. |
Ken4Christ:Bigotry is synonymous to low level intelligence. |
Sack Abba Kyari. |
OreMI22:You are saying this because you dont fully believe in the authority reposed on an elected official by the electorate. If he gets elected, he has the mandate of the masses to shut the mouths of lions. And he can appoint and fire service chiefs as circumstances dictate. Atiku na snake, he has been gaming with those guys long before now. Instead of stepping on any toes, he'll rather subtly allow their interest to be met. Atiku cannot cannot checkmate the greedy elite holding Nigeria back. He is part of them! |
He seems a good candidate. Please which senatorial zone is he representing in Kaduna state. |
The drama continues |
Why is the story different from the reference aka source? |
whirlwind7:Men's mind are becoming more and more perverted. And they cant get women willing to put up with some of those perversions, hence sex dolls are getting more popular. |
fastjet001:Oga I stay in Lagos. Ambode is not getting it right as regards waste management and road maintenance. There is no need for hypocrisy. He'll be given credit for what he does well and criticism in areas he is falling behind. Its not a big deal. Fine, he is coming up with some sound novel ideas, but he needs to up his game in some other areas. |
Okoyeebos:Does this Visionscape have the capacity to cover the entire length and breadth of the state? I have not seen any trace of Visionscape in my neighborhood this year, and refuse is mounting up. The PSPs were disengaged and the govt of the day did not even think it necessary to withdraw them systematically. Everywhere is messed up now. Ambode is really not getting it right as regards maintenance. Same story with the roads. The speed at which Public works were maintaining the roads in the days of Fashola has greatly reduced. Bad portion of the road takes ages to be attended to, if they even ever get attended to. As regards waste management, presently, everywhere is almost covered in waste because they want to bring their own persons into the business. |
1shortblackboy:Victoria Island is different from Lagos Island. |
Soludo is a good candidate. Let the youths rally round him. |

GavelSlam:They are conserving their bullets now. After using the guns to disable the fighting opponents, they will use machetes in the weaker ones. |
The President is showing an unholy weakness in this regard. This issue can throw up the country into crisis. States as federating units can enact laws according to their circumstances so far that law does not conflict the constitution. The arrogance of these herdsmen (both the ones in the bush and city) is bewildering. The law was a response to unbridled crisis and killings. Trying to pull the wool over our eyes and claiming the law is responsible for the crisis is silly to say the least. |
Every reasonable person said it then, that the backdoor judgement ain't going no where. The election is going forward as planned with the exception of the PDP. APC suffered similar fate in a number of senatorial election as well. This should send a strong warning to political parties carrying out shaddy primary election. |
Anambra Central controversy: Court cancels judgement that affirmed PDP’s Obiora Okonkwo senator An Abuja Division of the Federal High Court has set aside its December 12 judgement affirming a Peoples Democratic Party candidate, Obiora Okonkwo, as the authentic candidate to occupy the Anambra Central Senatorial seat. In a judgement on Friday, following an application by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, the court said its previous judgement which was based on the consent of parties cannot be viewed as a final judgement on the matter. According to the judge, John Tsoho, the judgement which was strongly relied upon by Mr. Okonkwo’s lawyer cannot be regarded as a final judgment on the matter. “It must be realised that the judgement entered in this court is a consent judgement. It is not one on merit, therefore the court has jurisdiction to revisit it. It cannot be regarded as a final judgment”. Mr. Tsoho held that the actions of the respondent counsel in the suit, namely the Peoples Democratic Party, which resulted in the December judgement was questionable given the Appeal Court judgement which ordered a re-election without the inclusion of the party. “It is enough ground to set aside the decision,” Mr. Tsoho said. Friday’s ruling means there is no legal stumbling block barring INEC from conducting Saturday’s election for the senatorial district. aonag:How will the target beneficiaries get to know of the scheme?? |
bigboss80s:Did u read the news at all? |
ifyan:The way Buhari kept mute about the Fulani herdsmen is the same way Wike kept mute about the River killings until things went out of hand. Buhari is being rightly criticised about his handling of the fulani killers, but you lots are still shielding Wike and defending him. Continue, day go soon break. |
Truth be told, they have a point. How come those names are just being released now? And the most important thing is "how were the names compiled"? How are we sure the names are unbiased? Alongside the names, Wike should have released some information about the terror acts they have perpetrated to which they are being declared wanted and a bounty placed in their heads. |
jazinogold:Sincerely I stumbled on a similar article sometimes back and was surprised to discover that petrol price (in $) is cheaper in Nigeria than Saudi Arabia and Qatar. |
