Fighter Pilot: Don't worry, one day you will grow up and start to realise some of your mistakes. I hope that time would come when this post will still be hanging here, so that you will personally be disgraced everytime you see it.@Fighter Pilot, hang your air force uniform on a mango tree beside that of @andrewza . |
. https://www.stumpedmagazine.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/nigeria-flag-294x294.jpg naval blockade of a giant ? andrewza: I already posted my views and point out just how foolish agaugust is.you want me to counter your views ? okay here it is below. andrewza: This is a very poorly writen source....but it sank all your navy ships to sea bottom andrewza: Firsly SA would not send in all 4 valours. At most 3 more likly 2 and 1 sub with drankenberg in support.the less number of valour ships you bring to nigerian coastline of 800km, the less effective your naval blockades, even ordinary pirates will sail ships through the porous leaking gaps on wide sea between your few scanty warships that can only be in one place at a time and travel slower than a running horse/animal. also the fewer valour warships south africa brings, the more artillery shells ratio will be showered like rain of fire on each of your warships and the quicker it will sink. and when they sink, nigeria will release its world class 300 navy gun boats/fast attack crafts to send all the surviving south african sailors who abandon-ship in floating life jackets on water surface or tiny dinghy boats to meet their creator above in heaven...or hell andrewza: SAN would load the 16 spare VLC with umkontoi 32 SAM'sthe extra anti-aircraft missiles umkhonto you load on south african valour frigate is useless because i did not fly any nigerian jet fighter aircraft to attack your ships, i am not a FOOL, i have good combact tactics training in my office. i used only nigerian air force ATR-42 Surveyors maritime patrol aircraft to fly safely 30km away out of range of south african navy anti-aircraft umkhonto missiles with only 15km missile range. ATR-42 surveyor aircraft can do its job 330km away from enemy forces, safe out of reach. i dont even need to use ATR-42 surveyor, the nigerian satellites are enough to locate, track, target, report GPS coordinate positions of south african valour warships, then direct and constantly re-direct nigerian army artillery fire-power to sink all south african navy down to sea bottom. andrewza: If the NN dose not want to play SAN riads the off shore and costal gas/oil faclties and pipe lines.nigeria has more gas than oil, you dont know. also i said the west african gas pipeline runs from nigeria to ghana on land and we continue to export safely and make money as usual. also a trans-sahara oil pipeline is in project stage to run from nigeria to algeria for europe and american export customers. we will shut down off-shore platforms and use the crude oil export barges that pirates use along the shallow coastline of nigeria and export crude oil through west african coast, cameroon and benin are just few kilometers away from nigerian borders and once the barge sails there protected behind the decoy shield of extra empty barges, the barges are in another country's territorial waters goint to francophone Total/Elf oil and gas ships. nigeria continues to export crude oil easily. we can also let south africa attack the off shore oil facilities which are property of american, british, french, chinese, and italian companies exxon-mobil, shell, agip, total/elf, etc, just K.ill these w.hite m.en and you F00LISHLY drag the worlds biggest super powers to attack your south african navy ships and submarines....same mistake of Japan in war history 1941 pearl harbour attack on america which dragged america to join world war II in anger and the americans dropped two atomic bombs on Japan as a reward of F00LISH war strategy of Japan. andrewza: It would take one masive feet of logistics to move every nigerian gun to the coast. And it is doubt full they would all be 100%.dont be FOOLISH to say nigeria has no logistics to move about 800 artillery guns to the coast, they are already there in large numbers in the many nigerian army artillery barracks along the coastal states in lagos, ogun, ondo, edo, delta, rivers, akwa ibom, and cross river states. the 100 archer and palmaria artillery are self propelled artillery and they move by themsleves like a car or lorry, the engine only needs petrol/diesel. the other towed artillery needs only a small lorry to tow them around and there are thosuands of lorries and trucks or trailers in nigeria, and the army has its own huge fleet of 4x4 and 6x6 towing trucks in our army logistics commands. also dont be a FOOL to say nigerian towed artillery may not be working, why not ? towed artillery has no real engine like a ship or even a car, all it needs is just oil and grease and it will work perfectly as it is just a mechanical piece of parts fitted together and very cheap to maintain. rather it is south africa that will have a major trouble of logistics by sailing warships and submarines for a journey about 5,000km from south africa to nigeria, and we know your country cannot afford to maintain its Grippen jets to fly, 12 out of 26 jets in long term cold storage and only 8 pilots maximum available to fly them in the whole south african air force. south africa is the one that will have serious logistics difficulty doing a naval blockade 5,000km away in nigerian waters. andrewza: In order to find the frigate radar will be needed. This will give advance warning.no radar needed by nigeria, i am not using any nigerian warship and artilley guns use no radar and far away on land beyond range of south african total 4 pieces of 76mm guns with short range of maximum 16km and only effective up to 8km. nigerian satellite uses no radar and is far away in outer space beyond enemy reach and ATR-42 uses electro optical, electromagnetic, long range television video camera image relay systems, and all weather electronic mapping devices to track but uses no radar for this particular mission even though it has a powerful 330km radar range. nigerian ATR-42 Surveyor is one of the most modern in the whole world and it is a master ocean surveyor in action, and it is safe 30km away out of range of 15km south africa anti-aircraft missiles. andrewza: SAN dose not need to close in to the coase to blockade. You own acstion did that all for me. You buttoned up giving the lone SSK all the rome in the world to find and destroy targets.south african submarine will just roam about nigerian waters wasting its time and running out of fuel/diesel, i did not sail any nigerian warchip for the submarine to see and torpedoe, all nigerian navy ships are removed safe to inside the port/dockyard/dry dock/shallow inland rivers/water creeks where the submarine cannot submerge safely below water level or else it will run aground and get damaged and trapped in the water bed for ever unable so sail back home. andrewza: Nigeria has no ari born ASW wepaon so can operate with out threat. If any NN comes out it will be found and destryed.from my answer above, we dont need ASW weapon, but if we want to use it, ATR-42 Surveyor is a modular aircraft technically the same as ATR-72 ASW, we just import the anti-submarine sonar, torpedoes and few extra hardware, then we hunt and d.estroy your submarine after we sink the valour frigates with nigerian army artillery and there is no more anti-aircraft threat. andrewza: Nigeria dose not have the means to stope the blocked. Your plan will only aid SAN and bankrupt nigeria. In a sense you would be helping us.i just stopped the naval blockade above. Gas and Oil exports continued above as i explained. andrewza: Try again.i dont need to try again sir....i already ended your military career. CONCLUSION : I did not reply your counter-counter attack that day on page 236 because your response was a F00LISH military error that will disgrace the whole south african navy, and i have a habit of not saying everything i know at once, i save some information for later use. i started my simulation by refusing to use nigeria's new anti-submarine weapons on order from france or to add ASW hardware to ATR-42 surveyor, i did not use the 100 mobile long range artillery and the 4 new stealth warships nigeria is awaiting from china and india, and yet nigeria still wins the battle. imagine what nigeria will do to south africa if we deploy our full military might against you. all the combined admirals in your south african navy cannot break through that nigerian coastal defense, they will all be sunk to sea bottom in 5 minutes, and south africa will have no navy anymore, your navy becomes history. see the photo i posted here, of a ship tracked and located by a satellite from outer space, NO RADAR IS NEEDED, its a good way to d.estroy a stealth warship instead of using imperfect radar. good night @andrewza, remember to hang your south african navy uniform on a mango tree.

. nigerian army new weapon in kaduna city...Grippen Jet Destroyer & Anti-missile Weapon The Type 90 twin-35mm anti-aircraft artillery (AAA) is a Chinese copy of the Swiss Oerlikon GDF, one of the world’s most capable low-altitude air defence weapon systems. The weapon was designed to engage high-speed, low-flying aircraft, helicopters, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) and cruise missiles. The Type 90 replaced the obsolete Type 65 and type 74 twin-37mm AAA to provide field air defence for the ground forces at the division and group army level. The Type 90 was first revealed to the public during the 1999 National Day parade held in Beijing. Type 90 is much more advanced in terms of technology and capability. Once set up, the AAA system can be operated by one person. The autoloader make it possible to feed and fire all the ammunition available on the gun without manual intervention. The system’s reaction time to an airborne target is only 6 seconds, and the whole system can be set up or retreated within 90 seconds. The Type 90 includes a computer controlled electro-optical director for 3-dimensional target tracking in conjunction with the laser range finder. The Type 902 (Chinese copy of the Skyguard) millimetre-wave target searching radar has a detection range of 8,000m. The AAA system can work either in conjunction with the Type 902 fire control radar or autonomously. A typical battery using the Skyguard radar consists of two twin 35 mm gun platforms with a single fire control radar. In addition, the 35mm guns are also highly lethal against ground targets. The fire-control unit used by the Type 90 was based on the improved Skyguard-II, which differs from the basic variant Skyguard in that it has two tracking systems, first a Type 902 target searching radar and second electro-optical passive tracking director. The electro-optical tracking system uses high-resolution optical/infrared TV for passive tracking The advantage of continuing tracking without emitting radar signals increases its survivability when facing enemy anti-radiation missiles (ARMs). Fighter Pilot: That which you have written and fraudulently claimed it to be a war simulator above is a clear indicator of your ignorance and that you know nothing about military weaponry. That was just a sign that I would clearly be dealing with a small boy instead of knowledgeable chap. I will never sell my country for just a mere ignorant civilian like you. There are many spies who now and then peep in this forum. you are lost behind modern times in your south african cape town cage. all over the world in asia, america and europe in their public internet forums like this nairaland, competent soldiers use their countries known weapons to simulate war with a rival or perceived enemy nation, e.g. american/south korean forces vs north korean military forces...freely on internet. dont find excuse for avoiding a test of your military battlefield capability. no big secret in war simulations, any country can hire a mercenary retired asian, european, or american colonel and pay him some $50,000 to do a full scale simulation of south africa vs nigeria military in war, he will do it if he is a good combatant soldier, he will get all the list of imported weapons of both our countries from internet. so is there any security issue you make by avoiding my challenge ? NO ! you are just empty of battle field tactics. |
Donian007: u idiot, u kum here hauling insults, its so much ignorance stinging u 2 tink dat Nigerians still dream of having electricy, in my grandmums region in Rivers State wch includes 3 LGAs, dae enjoy up to 23 and half hrs of electricity wit no charge, d 3 local council pay d bills witout public refund<free> 4 nearly 3 yrs nw.true talk bros. |
Fighter Pilot: I don't blame you, you know nothing about intelligence.photo of prince harry son of the queen of england in war zone of afghanistan in public newspapers and free internet. no secrets about faces at war zones unless you are special ops, commandoes, espionage ops, etc. most soldiers on the war front are the 'expendable' and form the larger numbers of any military force. faces of senior military commanders in hot war zones is all over the internet. no secret except in the categories i stated above.
|
Henry120: You are correct.open faces of Nigerian soldiers and other countries soldiers in combat zones are freely available and visible on internet, televisions, newspapers etc including prince Harry son of queen of England in combat zone of Afghanistan posted down this page, no secrets. |
Fighter Pilot: I'd only be a fool to disclose our military tactics since that is an information that should be meticulously guarded against landing in the wrong hands. Our inventory is however not a secret to anyone and there is no doubt about it that it has an upper hand over that of Nigeria. I have vast intelligence about Nigerian arsenal and is really disappointing. That country really need to invest a lot in their defence. You actually have almost zero battle field tactics in your h.ead sir, I know a competent combat soldier when he talks...by their fruits you shall know them. |
Fighter Pilot: Agaugust- officer is ofcourse carrying out administrative work and has a vast knowledge about art of war and military law. Officer's formative/training is different to that of NCO's which is more into combat but that does not mean that officers cannot carry riffles and assist comrades in arms to fire. We are leaders in any combat and assist in planning defensive as well as offensive approach. Your performance of trying to display your military knowledge is rather immature, satirical and full of childish rantings. Do you even know what is war simulation before we touch everything else? LMFAO!!!Don't confuse people here mister, a combatant soldier simply put, it trained to be deployed for direct engagement against enemy forces e.g artillery sergeant or colonel. A non-combatant soldier simply put is trained to be deployed not to directly engage enemy forces but rather provide auxillary services to the military, e.g a seargeant in army music band, a colonel in army accounts and pensions department. Rank does not matter. Also you say it is security risk to do simulation of war on this forum, so did south African navy officer @andrewza endanger south Africa by accepting my challenge to start simulating of naval blockade of Nigerian water by south African navy ? You are the most cowardly soldier I have ever known. All the weapons we used for simulation on this forum are already known to general public all over the world since they were imported from overseas. So what excuse do you have ? None. Please accept my challenge on the naval blockade or I can give you an easier simulation of Grippen jet vs Roland SAM, these are not secret weapons and the whole world already knows. Please don't put your fellow south Africans on this forum to shame by running away from a civilian like this small me, I am not your Seleka rebel so don't run away from me. |
Fighter Pilot: Generally what you are asking of me is impossible sir. Talk less of war games we are not allowed to divulge our war strategy to enemies. My position and that of Agaugust are completely different, since he is just a mere civilian who educated himself about military through internet. His knowledge about military is very limited and can only deceive those who have never set their foot on military base.@Fighter Pilot, you are NOT a combatant soldier...by their fruits you shall know them, your duty is just administrative paper work. |
Fighter Pilot: There are so many people who rely much on internet and hence live under misconception that they are some kind of military expects. If you havesure you are refering to me. okay i will show you what i showed @andrewza in his dismantled naval blockade that sank all south african navy warships to sea bottom. i will show you that i am not a soldier by profession but i am a dangerous civilian who knows military combat practically, the seleka renel soldiers that disgraced your over-rated south africa army in CAR are not professional soldiers and their commanders are civilians turned into rebel fighters. many times in war all over the world since war history started till today, we ordinary civilians have disgraced military academy generals in rebel/guerrilla warfare and it proves a point, a weapon is science but real war is an art, the best fighters are born and not made. charles taylor is a civilian and defeated the army of liberia jonas savimbi is a civilain and held angola's military to standstill war for about 25 years samora machel is a civilian and he fought against portugal's military saddam hussein is a civilian and fought against the whole world and mighty america seleka CAR rebels leader mitchel djotodia is a civilian and he defeated the CAR national army and south african army some civilians are more dangerous and skilled in warfare strategy than many of you soldiers. war is an art...and war fighting is 60% natural in-born talent and 40% profesional training. there is a long list of dangerous civilians in war history who have defeated military academy professional soldiers and generals in batttle. no human being is a master of all war knowledge, but very few military men in the world know what i know because i cut across all the 3 armed forces and i can marshal all navy, army, air force weapons into full combat against an enemy. i will simulate south african Grippen attack on NIgeria Roland SAM air defense....then you attack, i defend...then the public will watch us display what we know about real war...not copy and paste photos of DENEL weapons manufacturing. i will simulate and challenge you today/tomorrow. ======================================================================= Fighter Pilot: This is what the score was 800 Seleka rebels killed against only 14 SANDF members, then how do you conclude that we lost"General Hassan Ahmat, commander of the 558-strong Brigade Rouge, said in Bangui this week that he and his seleka rebel men had killed at least 36 South African soldiers and captured 46, releasing them soon afterwards." http://www.dispatch.co.za/rebels-claim-more-sa-soldiers-died-in-car/ ============================================ Fighter Pilot: My dear compatriot, one thing is that we do not beat our chest for killing over 800 rebels in CAR yet the likes of Agaugust are boasting about thequote source for your fake claim where few south african soldiers fought and contained 12,00 cuban soldiers. be careful about telling propaganda lies on bush war, i have posted details from neutral sources and proved that south african army was NOT much out-numbered in the bush war, both sides were almost balanced in number of soldiers. i have neutral sources so please keep quiet or i will open up an artillery of imformation please sir, which military academy did you attend ? are you a combatant or non-combatant soldier ? no insult intended sir, i am sorry to ask. you say south africa could have used atomic bomb on cuban army in angola and k.ill soviet military officers in the process ? you are a bad war calculator, soviet union will reply by dropping 10 atomic bombs on south africa. did you pass military academy exams ? the way you talk about war, you will just get yourself k.illed at an early age, dont you want to live long to old age and collect military pension money ? ================================================================================================================== saengine: This is an answer given by the defence committee regarding the number of pilots. This was in 2010.you said you wont argue with me again, so why are you posting reply to my comment ? try to be a man of your words. anyway i will reply you my dear enemy. you now say its 8 Grippen pilots, i said 6. okay lets accept your 8, what is the joy in it ? south african air force has 8 pilots to fly 26 grippen jets...you should all be ashamed for this didgrace of your over-rated military on nairalan forum...south africa is a toothless bulldog and you are not even ashamed to post this disgraceful information to show your airforce is over-rated...you have onky 8 Grippen jets pilots to defend against Egypt, Algeria, Ethiopia, Eritrea....just in case it happens. ==================================================================== Fighter Pilot: There is no so called AKASH in Nigeria's military inventory. Why do we have to go from pillar to post in order to reach that conclusion. The onlynobody said Akash has entered service, but many sources say nigeria is buying the Akash SAM. i posted 5 indian sources that say India is modernising nigerian air defence and they all post photos of Akash....no smoke without fire. Akash is the only modern SAM India produces, so it is the only option nigeria can buy from india. nigerian army does NOT talk too much about its weapons purchase plans. tell me what you think nigeria is buying from india to replace the deadly Roland SAM ? bows, arrows and spears ? you can think like an adult, or you cannot ? =============================================================== Fighter Pilot: Of course, we cannot have all weapons that Nigeria have. We might not be interested in some of their inventory. The fact is we have more ofsame way nigeria does not have interest in some of the weapons south africa has, we dont need them and we dont buy them, nigeria buys only the type of weapons we need for our environment and level of threats around us. Fighter Pilot: I do not really mean to undermine your arsenal chief, but it is really not that impressive. I told you from the first time I engaged in this debates.i am NOT impressed by south african military arsenal too, you have too many old weapons and i proved that already and @andrewza agreed. the story that south african military is full of modern weapons is the same as saying nigerian military is full of modern weapons, you are not better than us in. period. south african 50 year old Dakota maritime aircraft vs nigerian world class super modern ATR-42 maritime aircraft south african 35 years old Ratel armoured vehicle vs nigerian world class super modern BTR-3U and Cobra and VBL armoured fighting vehicle south african 30 year old navy Gunboats/IPV vs nigerian navy world class super modern 40 stealth eagle, x-38 catamarans, 9 shaldags, 16 mantas, 15 defenders etc south african 30 year old GV5 vs nigerian super modern world class M-56 artillery south african 30 year old GDF 35mm anti-aircraft guns vs nigerian brand new world class super modern Type 90 35mm anti-aircraft guns nigerian upgraded army tanks match south african tanks. helicopter gunships nigeria has more, artillery nigeria has much more including 48 Archer the modern swedish made first class artillery and 200 latest modern yugoslav artillery...so how is south africa better ? it is a dream in the minds of people, it is NOT real. if any military officer is not impressed by nigerian modern weapons, his young widow wife will be very impressed at his g.raveside after the nigerian weapons sends her soldier husband to his early g.rave when his coffin/casket is lowered in the cemetary. ================================================================= zetdee: West African states must beg SA to help them with their piracy problem, I don't think they're capable of dealing with it.do you know the great size of west african EEZ waters from nigeria to mauritania ? it is about 1.2 million kilometres square, so you want nigeria alone to patrol that size of water ? and nigeria is not expected to be moving its navy into the other 10 countries territorial waters. somalia waters piracy reduced because the world's super power navies are there, and they need no permission, somalia is a half dead nation. many navy's warships from america, china, asia, europe/NATO are all patrolling the somali waters against pirates. use common sense to calculate the rest...i dont need to school you like a 5 year old boy. piracy is a crime for money making and it will never fully stop, you can only reduce it like drug trafficking and prostitution. simple thinking. south african navy will be a fool to use its expensive Valour frigates to chase pirates around west african EEZ waters of 1.2 million km/sq, and the continental shelf is shallow waters and NNS Aradu frigate ran aground chasing pirates there in 1987. you will just waste and damage your valour frigates, or you want to use your type 209 submarine to chase pirates and run aground like it did before and got damaged ? do you know the money cost of sailing those naval platforms all the way from south africa to nigeria and keep them at sea away from home for many months ? you are just a copy and paste military 'journalist' on nairaland. you dont know how weapons are deployed in reality. ================================================================= saengine: One month ago, soldiers from 5 Special Forces Regiment were caught in an ambush outside Bangui in the Central African Republic (CAR). So beganwas your south african political party on ground right inside the battle zone of the seleka rebels vs south african army fire fight ? even your south african army ran away for their lives, so which one of you south africans actually counted the number of dead seleka rebels ? simple common sense...tell us the name the person that did the counting of the dead seleka rebels on the bloody battlefield where soweto's soldiers ran away. "General Hassan Ahmat, commander of the 558-strong Brigade Rouge, said in Bangui this week that he and his seleka rebel men had killed at least 36 South African soldiers and captured 46, releasing them soon afterwards." http://www.dispatch.co.za/rebels-claim-more-sa-soldiers-died-in-car/ ===================================================================== |
@south africans, i am posting a long post combining all your comments together. i missed much action yesterday, so i deceided to post replies to all the r.ubbish you guys wrote yesterday. i will be posting in the next one hour or so. |

Fighter Pilot: I do not really mean to undermine your arsenal chief, but it is really not that impressive. I told you from the first time I engaged in this debates.nigeria dont need to impress you with our weaapons, all we need to do is to k.ill our enemy in war, simple. i will post a list of modern weapons nigeria has that south africa does not have, maybe monday. i am going for a meeting now...catch you guys tomorrow sunday or monday. ![]() |
nigeria has a new modern air defense weapon in service now that is not published in any arms sales log, i will post photos of it with nigeria soldiers operating it. you need to enter niegrian military armoury before you can count what weapons we have that is not yet known to the general public. i am going for a meeting now today saturday...catch you guys on sunday. dont fight yourselves o ! peace ![]() |
zetdee: I don't believe the above is correct....then prove it wrong with weblink sources that are reliable, or else you padlock your mouth. |
.. andrewza:: zetdee:: Fighter Pilot::the source quoted above by @andrewza says the pirates are moving away from nigerian waters to ivory coast, ghana etc. it does NOT report any piracy attack in nigerian coast in that article. i hope you can read english language and not only afrikaans/dutch/zulu. that story is the silent proof that nigerian navy is flushing pirates down the toilet hole like s.hit in nigerian waters, so they run away to other countries. west african coast piracy does NOT mean nigerian coast, it includes 10 other countries, Benin, Togo, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Senegal, Mauritania. dont mix them all up, they are NOT nigeria. nigerian navy has the best and largest anti-piracy small boat force in the whole world, south african navy has one of the smallest and outdated does an ant help a elephant to fight ? pirates are now running away from nigerian waters http://www.thisdaylive.com/articles/navy-warns-pirates-to-keep-off-nigeria-s-maritime-area/148933/ http://beegeagle./2011/09/22/how-the-nigerian-navy-maritime-guard-commandnimasapartnership-reduced-pirate-attacks/ https://www.israel-shipyards.com/images/p-naval-002.jpg |

DictatorZAR: Now why don't u provide the proof of active AKASH systems in full service in nigeria before you talk, because even your own beeagle says you still haven't taken hold of that system and its still under negotiation.most of the south african weapons posted on this forum are NOT yet in service with your military, including the BADGER AMOURED IFV, many are under development stages in DENEL research center. why did you south africans talk about it and post it on nairaland ? nigeria is buying new air defense weapons from India to replace Roland SAM, already confirmed world news posted above on this page....or you dreamed in your sleep that India is selling bows, arrows and spears to nigeria as the new modern air defense to replace the deadly Roland missiles ? ![]() a herbalist sangboma in soweto must have been manipulating your dreams ! andrewza: i am back, what i miss. was just busy, cant say with what but it was work relatedyou came back too late, their was fire in soweto, 20 of south african air force 26 Grippens jets were burnt down, only 6 remain to fly ![]() https://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51nRaMz95YL._SL500_AA280_.jpg https://www.saabgroup.com/Global/Documents%20and%20Images/Air/Gripen/The%20face%20of%20success_JamieHunter_440x277.jpg welcome back....but you came too late to put out the fire in soweto ! |

https://www.ausairpower.net/XIMG/Su-30MK-Asia-Users.png DictatorZAR: You continuesly come with your bullsh*iit talk just to gain favor amongst your naija boys without even giving anything with substance. This 6 pilot sh*iit you portray have been disproved before. You also refuse to take SA sites saafairforce forum as a credible source where mostly SAAF airforce personnel/reserves and experts comment yet you want us from SA to believe and quote Beeagleblog which is the equivalent to Saaf forum you don't see as credible.your south african air force peoples forum/blog made a false claim that south africa used the 4 Grippens sent to sweden's war game operation lion effort (another proof you have maximum of of 6 pilots) to shoot down 9 other country's Grippens hwile you lost only 1. that story is not in any reliable publication from the massive details released by SAAB who organized the war games and south africa colonel who led your team there never mentioned it, he said you were ther to learn from better experianced Grippen user countries. i posted that with direct source from sweden. i quote beegeagle blog because he himself provides credible sources for his claims, if he has no source he will say it...i am waiting for source to post on this topic. he is a honest man with no intention to boost ego by propaganda lies. DictatorZAR: You @Aguagust are one of the most foolish people I've come across maybe this is one of the reasons why this very thread is now dying a slow death because most of us SA guys have desided to give you Naija Air Heads the freedom to shore up your EGO.this thread was already dead on page 12 when i joined on page 13, nobody posted comment again for 2 months, only @snydergp and @andrewza were enternaining themselves there. i can humbly say i restarted the topic on page 13 and we are now on page 291. i made over 1,000 posts in 6 months, so how did i kill this thread ? i rather encouraged it. DictatorZAR: Nigeria's airforce is pretty much a 1970's style airforce with all its F-7's which by the way you had 15 and three already crashed because of incompetent untrained pilots, even one pilot lost his live because of this incompetence. south african air force crashes as much as nigeria airforce. i posted a list of your many air crashed this month, i can repeat it if you want it. one south african pilot flew his Rooivalk helicopter gunship into electricity wires on the street in broad day light just like a blind man ....he crashed trying to do some nice stuff for video/photos i guess. DictatorZAR: Now SA has 26 Grippens with 12 in storage leaving SA with 14 air craft active. Now can you fool explain the so called less then 10 aircraft being not even capable of flying theory.show us proof on this forum that south africa has more than 6 qualified Grippen jet pilots. I QUOTE SOURCE : "March 19, 2013: The South African government recently admitted that 12 of its 26 Gripen jet fighters had been placed in storage because they were too expensive to operate and there were not enough qualified pilots to fly them. Moreover, of the remaining 16 Gripens, only about 8 were flyable and there were only 6 qualified Grippen pilots. Corruption, shrinking defense budgets, and political pressure to find more black combat pilots and technical personnel has led to the South African Air Force having fewer operational aircraft. All this has been going on for over a decade." https://www.strategypage.com/htmw/htlead/20130319.aspx I QUOTE SOURCE : "DA MP David Maynier, who had posed the question, then issued a statement in which he sarcastically commented that these jets were “presumably vacuum-packed, like frozen chickens, in a hangar somewhere in South Africa”. Maynier said that while the Gripen jets were supposed to provide the country with air combat capability, out of the 26 Gripen fighter jets bought, 10 or fewer were operational and there were only 6 qualified pilots and about 150 flying hours available to the entire 2 Squadron for this year." http://www.iol.co.za/news/politics/gripen-fighter-jets-kept-in-mothballs-1.1485479#.UalQ2EDvsbg DictatorZAR: Here is a report from a news site where 4 SA Grippens were stationed after coming from Uganda airforce base. http://m.news24.com/beeld/Suid-Africa/Nuus/SA-was-reg-vir/nog-20130409thank you for the above source you gave, it also confirms what i say...south africa NEVER flies only flies a maximum of 6 Grippens at a time, you have only 6 qualified pilots. thats why you have only 4 jets in uganda. DictatorZAR: Please don't tell me about you planing to get J-17 or Su-30's because you don't fly them anywhere in Nigeria. By the way the SU-30's are no longer in active production line only upgrades and service parts are now available for that fighter jet, because Russia is gunning for the SU-35's now, so Nigeria is yet again going to buy second hand 3rd generation aircraft like they usually do the giants of hand me down second hand hardware.okay my school boy its time for me to educate you again on some basic military stuff ![]() nigeria is planning to buy JF-17 Thunder or SU-27/SU-30 Flanker as at today, they may choose F-16 Condor tomorrow. nigeria has the money, just trying to get the best. i am tire of posting source on the JF-17 Thunder nigeria is considering to buy, i did that today for @Fighter Pilot, i wont repeat it today again. you are wrong again today by saying SU-30 is no longer in production, it is still being built today and Russia has many on order for its air force yet to be delivered. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sukhoi_Su-30 SU-30 has about 20 different versions and the recent version SU-30 MKI is far superior to Grippen jet. it is the class of the Euro Typhoon and Rafale 4.5 generation jet fighters, India is involved in the latest version and the best version. class ends for today my boy, time to go home to mummy for dinner. take the photos i posted on top for lesson revision at home ![]() |
https://lh5.ggpht.com/-M5t16iWiNh4/UA5ctop0tlI/AAAAAAAANy0/ddSFH4cLo4s/entebbe_raid_thumb%25255B14%25255D.jpg?imgmax=800 souldust: why do you think we might fight Iran? Surely. Do you think it is possible for us and Iran to fight a war? We both lack the capacities to attack each other you know.many surprising things are impossilbe in life, surprises happen. may i go to war history sir ? british military headquarters believed it is impossible for britain and argentina to have war because the distance is 12,000km away from each other, but they fought falklands war in 1982. cuba is 11,000km away from angola and yer in the 1980's cuba fought war with south africa in angola. nigeria can have war with iran in another country's territory like sudan, each supporting different sides of a conflict. also, nigeria can have war with south africa in a third country's territory like it was shown in ivory coast where we supported opposite sides of the ivorien civil war. what if SAS DRAKENSBERG and NNS THUNDER had clashed in the waters of ivory coast when the south african navy logistics warship moved there ? fortunately nigeria was moving to ivory coast by air not sea like we did in liberia/sierra leone. war happens sometimes in the place you dont expect it. distance from iran to nigeria is 5,000km and to south africa is 7,000km. sometimes nations with distance engage in navy versus navy war, ships sail and engage in open seas. air forces also engage in air refuelling or stop over flight in friendly nations....israeli raid on entebbe uganda 4,000km away in 1976, israeli air force stopped over in kenya to refuel their C-130 hercules air crafts. |
agaugust: new enemy prepares for south african army....My honest advice to south African army is to avoid close combat infantry engagement with M23 rebels, use stand -off tactics to avoid heavy casualties. Use heavy fire power weapons and less man to man close in weapons until you put the rebels in disarray and want to do mop up. |
@everybody, I think south Africa has a new opportunity to redeem its military image now they want to attack M23 rebels in Congo DRC and many other countries armies will be sending soldiers to support south African army in this new war, Tanzania, Malawi, and multinational forces of SADC Brigade (I cannot remember the full list sorry) are helping this time so that south Africa will not be alone, but they will lead the attack. Tanzania has good soldiers too and will be very helpful to south Africa. Congo DRC desperately needs help...the people are suffering in the land of riches ! |
@patriot4, @Henry @Fighter Pilot.....take it easy guys...its weekend today....cool tempers I beg you all. ![]() |
Fighter Pilot: Do you know that Nigeria does not have even a single new generation qualified advanced fighter pilot? in that case they will be forced to utilise the services of mercenary pilots. I am sorry to reveal that information. It is only Egypt, Ethiopia and SA who boast about such pilots.i revealed that same information many pages backward on this forum when @andrewza argued with me about nigeria's defence pact with ukraine but he was convinced when i proved the nigeria-ukraine defence pact with a document published here come months ago. i said it them, nigeria did it in biafra war, sudden tranformation from zero combat jet to 54 combat jets all purchased with mercenary pilots during the biafra civil war. nigeria is in the market shopping for a 4.5 generation jet fighter for air superiority and the new JF-17 Thunder block II is equal to Grippen jet in all areas approximately. we may but it of buy the great SU-27/SU-30 Flanker jets. "In early 2010 it was reported that China had been in talks with around 5 to 6 countries on the JF-17, some of whom had sent air force pilots to test-fly the fighter.[123] Bangladesh, Myanmar, Egypt, Iran, Lebanon, Malaysia, Morocco, Nigeria, Sri Lanka and Algeria showed interest in the fighter plane." weblink source : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CAC/PAC_JF-17_Thunder also, nigeria still has the most powerful air-force in west africa sub-region, and the most powerful air defence systems in the whole of africa, Bofus AAA, Roland SAM, very modern Type 90 AAA, and very modern AKASH SAM coming too. sorry to repeat this photo posted already some months ago in this forum. https://www.channelstv.com/home/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/nigeria-pak.jpg modern and powerful Akash air defense systems coming to nigeria from india. https://media.defenseindustrydaily.com/images/ORD_SAM_Akash_Exhibit_lg.jpg |
