BetaThings: 2 months ago, we were never given any space, it was Buhari truncated democracy, Buhari truncated Buhari When did that happen? more than 27 years ago; against a civilian president who was clueless and vicious while rigging
Now somebody is exonerating Mark for what he did 26years ago Now let us think a little If Mark as Minister of Communications said phone was not the poor, how is that related to that era A minister is to cater for all Nigerians - poor or rich If such became president, since we still have poor people, will he not be a president of the rich? Ok, what law that benefitted the masses did Mark champion as senate president Since he was "strong", he should have been able to get certain things done What did the senate under him do about electoral reform As for passing a resolution to make Jonathan ag president, it was done to forestall a coup An who would lose from a coup Above all, Mark was amongst the people who insisted that the June 12 election should be annulled Mark is the greatest anti-democratic element who has benefitted the most from democracy my brother thank you for saying the truth. Most of the people online in forums are kids, that is why they don't understand anything. |

KnowAll: I am not saying they should make him a minister if he is an humpty-dumpty, but if he knows his job, why not, don’t you think he is a victim of his popular name. I am sure he has a degree and he has worked with the FCTA for some considerable time, which makes him more qualified for now than say someone who is an outsider, it then goes without saying if he aspires and wishes to move to the next step up and become a Minister, why not?
And Secondly people are generally envious of their friends; you are saying you know him personally I am sure you would view any appointment he gets as a perversion of justice and not the right decision just because he is an Awolowo, we need to look beyond parochialism and into the content of one’s character.
You would need to re-appraise what u wrote, because it is dotted with envy and jealousy an unenviable trend I have noticed by most of the contributors to this thread.
Let the poor boy be, we have had worse people as ministers, everything is “ asiko” – “time”. is he the only nigerian who has worked in the FCTA? KnowAll: Note- I am not holding court for Mr Awolowo, neither have I met him b4 or seeing him in flesh, becos I know our people on NL, they would start asking silly questions of how much did he pay u, this is just a thought from an independent free thinker. You are campaigning for somebody you have not met or seen before? in Nigeria and you want people to believe you? Why not go to aso rock or NASS. or is nairaland now a place to solicit for ministerial appointments? |
There are a lot of downlow men who are dating women as a cover and sleeping with men undercover that why they are called downlow men. It doesn't matter if he was cheating on his wife with a man or a woman he committed adultery if he is married. It is that simple. If the woman wants to remain with the cheating dog that is her right. Unfortunately.
To James, it doesn't matter if it happens in Nigeria or Tijuana the point is IT HAPPENED.
you posted the correct situation. she is married to a downlow, if she can bear the burden, then let her continue. her hubby is in love with the man and has never been in love with her. he has been pretending |

the way the igbos and yorubas look down on every other culture is one of the reasons the "WAZOBIA" Nigerian language project didn't see day light. Why, because the minorities were vehemently opposed to it. so people should only dress as yorubas, igbos or hausas and we hope to move this country forward |

kasiem: This issues emanate from the fact that we see feel inferior to the whites. The other day my elder brother who works with one engineering outfit in lagos told a story of one expatriate who cant even read a drawing that a secondary school guy in nigeria can read, yet he's being paid as an expatriate. A certain day the i.diot opened up that he was just a bleeping welder in britain and here in nigeria he's serving as an expatriate. Okay, the other day refineries were annihilated in abia and was termed illicit, cos it was built by natives. Why cant those natives be harnessed to replace the expatriates? I reside in aba and as a resident there, i've had the opportunity to know the kind of brains that waste there cos of our blind reliance on honkies. Could u imagine , when okada were debarred this guys constructed tricycles with motorcycles? The pathetic thing is that we think that our nationalists have gotten independence for us without knowing that we are in bigger fetter with this kind of mentality. Go to any construction site u'll that the real workers are the locals while the so-called will be smoking and chewing gum. The bolded is very true and yet our leaders are deceived by being told that they are expats and atimes being paid 15x salary of Nigerian worker doing the same job. expats are supposed to be people with specialized knowledge which they are to transfer to the locals over time. |
