lereinter:Great point. Exactly what I was pointing out. These white folks will do anything for money. We assumed we are bad when it comes to money or material things. If we go back in history and see what white folks have done for laying their hands on material things or money that didn't belong to them, you will open your mouth agape. |
Most Nigerians don't know these white people and how they operate. This Campbell guy is surely under the payroll of Buhari govt or someone within Buhari govt. He is probably employed secretly as a lobbyist. So, he has to write positive things about his clients. The interesting angle to the story is the assumption he came up with that only southerners believe that Buhari and his cabal are corrupt. Be careful of these serpents and agents of Satan. This is how they lead countries into internal wars. |
When one read few of the comments here, you begin to wonder that Nigerians deserve every bit of suffering they are going through in the hands of public officials and security agents and even bandits. Because many have no bit of conscience or goodness in them. |
Ossimhhen21:Exactly what you are. Only a mad person will be referring to an individual standing up against injustice as mad. Who mad now? See your life. Better jejely waka go Yaba psychiatric hospital make them examine your head. |
Possiblegee:"Lily liver" men. Except if you are a kid. Our history is filled with stories of bold and courageous women who often come to the rescue of their people when the men start acting like roosters that see an eagle launching in from the sky. |
Rucheen:You all can't read. Few keep asking where it happened even though it's stated clearly in the story. Go back to re-read the story. |
Afam4eva:The thing is that the authorities from many of the countries of people and businesses he stole from will not rest until they hunt him down. It doesn't matter if you decide to stop doing yahoo. They will still come for you. It's hard to imagine that this guy did not consider that there will be days like this. He knew it will happen. So, he rather damn the consequences of all the social media blitz and enjoy all the fun and attention before D-day. If he didn't consider he would be arrested some day, then he deserve to swallow rat poison administered by himself. |
Let's see the outcome. The United States just need Hush and Wberry to tightening there system. You think US are stupid like Nigerians government that will prosecute fraudsters, don't be surprised if Hushpuppi and Mr Woodberry worked with the US Artificial Intelligence(AI). Hush and Wberry will help them with a lot of things and they need someone like them in there country to make sure there database is secure. The whites are more intelligent than African countries and shameless Nigerian will be criticizing Hush and Wberry. Your government are looting you every fucking days and you keep quite criticizing the rich Hush and Wberry. Wise upYou are probably in the same business as these common criminals. Your own time is coming. Don't stop. |
hakeem4:What kind of CEO go invest in a state where a policy was been in place to restrict use of motorbikes in some parts of the city. They thought they could come into an African country and they do as they wish. |
Drchristian:No he does not. He is too much of a "lilly liver" individual. I don't see him performing at that level as he would be too scared to raise or help implement unpopular but needed laws because of fear that some party godfathers will not be happy. |
Osagyefo98:Ignoramus, was she not a member of the Federal house of assembly in the recent where she performed excellently? Or you were brain dead during those years. |
JONNYSPUTE:You may be wrong on this. If it's a deity that selected a candidate, it has nothing to fo with hierarchy or whether the person chooses has a father or elder brother. The "Ori" (i.e. destiny) determines this. Yours may be what pleases the deity as the tight person for the kingship. |
Greenvaiper:Are you into trafficking human organs or body parts? That look line a line you will use to convince the poor fellows that you are putting on the market. |
Greenvaiper:It seem you have a loose "bolt" in your brain. It's folks like you that will go sell your kidney for a little change. Imagine! |
shiwex:Nigerians for the most part are a bunch of clueless people who always choose to remain wretched. Even me that live in America, I cut off my cable service several years ago. I use to pay between $60 to $100 every month, and I kept the service just because of soccer as they always offer the service as packages. Often you can't choose soccer channels alone. I realized it was only soccer I was watching as I did not have time to watch other channels. These days I watch playback on YouTube, and NBS show 2 matches free on Saturdays. That's enough. Virtually, Nigerians and other Africans are dashing UK $250 million every year, and another $100 million to Europe generally. See why these western countries are richer while Africans are getting poorer. Show me one African media product that Europeans will pay to watch. |
Stupid Nigerians throwing their money at UK. I prefer they don't show premier league and champions league on Nigerian TV anymore, if the youths and people will forget their own league but pay so much attention to foreign league. They will rather watch premier league than participate in important national issues that will affect their lives. Thats why Nigerians remain poor. There is too much focus on outside and foreign things. So, people are not thinking of ways to solve local problems. |
Danny50: Efikos always have a different look. I was never one, though I excelled. And will never be in another world if chanced. I love a balanced live. It's the end that justify the means. Of course, there are things I will do differently. Better time management at a young age. |
MightySparrow:That's what I was thinking. I am dead sure these kids will end up in North America in the future because it's their kinds that go on to pursue Masters and PhDs, and they usually prefer US and Canada. Nigeria loss, America or Canada's gain. I know so many examples. I am good example too but I didn't have a JAMB score as nearly perfect as these kids. It's sad. |
XXXXTENTACION:Don't mind that stupid religious zealot. People like him/her are partly responsible for the mess the country is in. They use religion as a cover and the masses go to sleep waiting for Jesus to come solve the problems they can solve by themselves. How stupid. |
Imagine, a former public official wanting to live like a CEO of a billion dollar company. Why not go into business and be an entrepreneur? But no, they want to steal to achieve that rather than take the risk and put in the work. This is the easy way. Just like Yahoo Yahoo. |
They are just advertising, looking at fact that there are evidence that new cases is increasing daily. |
Poloyanabo2:Those are more noble men. These people did not steal public funds. Abiola was only a private businessman and a govt contractor. And was So, why compare a confirmed criminal to these individuals. Or do you ever heard of Awolowo forcefully collecting dues from any UPN states during his political years. Or you are just one of those ethnic jingoist who can't see beyond your nose? |
Anneka101:"We are still smarter than the so called international student." I could see you are really smart. All you do is re-sell what the "smarter" Chinese developed in their country. You may be street smart but not wise. Being smart and being wise are two different things. |
babaolofin:I am not Igbo. I am born and bred Lagosian. So, leave that story. This is not even about the crook... Face front. |
Only in Nigeria that you want to bury dead body on 48 plots of land. She did not even ask for 1 plot. A whole 48 plots. Thief! What is paining her is the property she could not lay her hands on. |
itsme01:And what's your point? Labour cost is cheaper in those countries. That's the primary factor. Multinationals have standard of practice across different countries. The motive to move certain services offshore has nothing to do with not providing good working conditions for employees. It is primarily to reduce cost of labour. Often we don't understand the implications of what we do or why our country is the way it is. It's because Nigeria is filled with irrational people. For example, what's the culture of maintainance in Nigeria? Where people use things and do not take care of it, even if it is making money for them. You see, individuals like Funke Akindele cannot excel beyond Nigeria. Here people give and take "shits" from each other. Is it not a country where an employer paying you N30k per month will expect you to go buy lunch for him/her everyday even though thats not part of the job description. Where banks send out ladies to go and prostitute themselves to get customers. What a culture. Why did you think that slavery lasted for 400years? It was because those that were profiting from it locally didn't want it to stop. No one is telling her to go break a bank. Simply provide the little you can. Even mechanical equipments need proper maintenance, not to talk of human body and brain. Funke Akindele is just an ignorant individual. |
edoairways:This is the way Nigerians encourage foreigner employers or companies to abuse their local employees. If the foreign owners is trying to do things and provide conditions that is conducive for the employees, it is going to be a Nigerian at the management level that is trying to lick the ass of his/her foreign boss, that will advise the company not to provide such resources for the employees. Your own people recommending that it is okay for you to be abused just because of position and money. This countru is filled with sick and mentally deranged people. |
codemaniacs:Do you know what is called a culture? Nigerian employers have a culture of "abusing" their employees. So, thats why it is okay to not accept that you can't put people in a place for 8 to 24 hr and you expect them to be productive without providing other resources for them to relax physically or mentally. It has nothing to do with big companies. Its a culture. A small company or individual provides what they can afford based on their pocket. |
itsme01:Productivity for any project does not work that way. It's like a slave mentality to have workers in place you arranged for them without any other resources for a break or leisure, and you expect them to be 100% productive. Do you understand how the brain and human body work. The employers you listed are those who believe in using workers as slaves. Even if you don't provide a TV set, you as an employer must provide resources for leisure or break. Look, I used to work at one of the very top oil&gas companies in the USA. I was invited from Canada to the USA where the head office is located for an interview. After the 3 hours of meetings, discussion and presentation, I was taken round the huge complex of the company. And while walking around with a future colleague, he pointed to a soccer pitch right in the middle of the complex. He said they play soccer every lunch time. It was at that point I decided that, man I am joining this company. I am a soccer addict. There are gyms, basketball court. Almost every day at lunch time for 30 to 45 min we play soccer.. Some days we used to play table tennis. This way you are working with employees who are physically and mentally balanced, and healthy. The company benefit from this as well. You don't get the best out of people by putting them under a "slave" condition. Apparently Nigerians love to be abused. Just yesterday, I saw a news of an Indian company that locked it staff up to work continously for several months in spite of Covid-19 only for extra N5k per month without adequate food. |
These folks always think they are the one that deserve to be rich. Even when you play by the rule to earn your wealth, the next thing they want to obtain you. |
A government with no 0.1% reputation, not to talk of 50% or 100% reputation. These government officials are fraudulent. That's why yahoo yahoo is popular among the youths. |
adioolayi:That's what they all do, they move their profits out. That;s why Nigerians have to invest in their country and should not expect foreigners to do it for them because they are not here to look after the interest of your country but their country. Imagine, only after 3 months due to Coronavirus, they are already crying. |
