Gbawe:@Gbawe, the bolded part of your posts is stretching it a little too far. Ribadu knowing he had the backing of OBJ, did to an extent arbitrarily lock up folks whenever that would help him achieve what he wanted. Let me remind you of the Plateau, Rivers and Bayelsa house of Assembly members, plus the storming of Adenuga's residence. Indeed the world rated him high and fancied him a lot, when he was diligent at doing the main EFCC work. Upon using that diligence to build up his stock, he however dabbled and muddied himself up in the politics of the times and allowed himself to be used by OBJ. The US govt did in fact reduce their funding of the EFCC at some point and did request for clarifications from him, when the noise about him being used was getting too loud. Corruption was allowed to fight back against Ribadu, when he started soiling his hands and therefore created the opening to enable folks ridicule or hold him to ransom. A case in point, for all of what Ribadu portrayed about Odili, and kept on saying the court gave a restraining order; it is on record that EFCC under his watch did not even try to appeal that judgement, as it was just convenient to hide under such. A closer scrutiny of that particular case would uncover more dirt, did you know that the EFCC lawyer in that case was not even bothered to be in court in 3 different sessions prior to the judge's pronouncement! In as much as I admire you and also Ribadu, I fail to accept a man that would compromise his principles for personal benefit. I can understand one that compromises for the greater good of all, but not one that compromises for personal benefit. |
Beaf:@Beaf, I support the bolded part in your post. To ensure this, we must vote out the party that practices this bigoted politics of zoning - PDP! As you remember, the Chairman of the BOT, the veritable OBJ, just confirmed that zoning is here to stay in PDP, even long after he is dead. Giving that OBJ is the main backer of GEJ, does that mean that you despise what GEJ is supporting? |
papadonkee:@papadonkee, Thanks for coming back on this. Let me reiterate to you clear once again, the pointblanknews IS NOT my basis for picking the holes, thus I aint interested in them. I got interested when I read her rejoinder and I saw some logical holes in them. Now to the items. Let me quote from the interview of the SSA "EC: How are the MDGs funded?Like I said, all monies saved from not paying debts/associated interest accrues to the federation account and is shared to all tiers of govt. The above confirms it, just that the FGN and States have an understanding to try and ensure that monies that would hitherto have been spent servicing such debts are diverted towards the MDG. To buttress, since not all states owed equal amounts (some states did not even owe), would each state then not budget towards the MDG? Yes I agree that our debt relief made more money available to the federation account and it was one of the selling points for the debt relief but saying that is the sole source of funds is stretching it too thin. You can check our budget since the debt relief and calculate how much have gone to education and other MDG goals. That ACN needs 240 million on election days does not support your stance. Irrespective of whether a lady is contesting or not, PDP would still need polling agents on election day. Thus they need not provide special money for women except to help them in their campaigns. Example, for the NASS elections, I am a volunteer polling agent and would cover for all party aspirants on that day, we would not require an extra person just because one of the candidates is a woman, would we? You believe she didn't embezzle because she gave out cheques to some people on inauguration day! Ok, let me give this illustration, if she was given 150M, and she gave out cheques of One Million to 100 aspirants, (note a 100 is quite a crowd), would that imply that she did not embezzle 50M? To clear the air, it would be a simple statement of accounts or a more transparent rejoinder stating how much was given and how many aspirants. BTW, I noted that while you alluded to the funds being provided by UNIFEM (now UNDFW), she did not provide that in her rejoinder but only claimed that UNDP was not involved. She cleverly left out that another organ of the Un was involved, and note that UNDP and UNDFW are close enough for someone to juxtapose or mistake them one for another. As you'd notice, I'd ignored your attempt to impugn my person. Stick to the discourse we are engaged in. |
papadonkee:Thanks for inquiring about my health. I slept very well and I woke up with a smile and had a happy heart, at work now and still in very good spirits. papadonkee:Unfortunately, you do have a right to say I lied, if you believed I did, I won’t sugar-coat o! Now what do you want me to Google? "Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on MDG", "Administering MDG" or "MDG" itself? Pray tell me what you want me to Google? Anyway, the MDG are a set of parameters that countries/govt have signed up for under the UNDP to achieve by a certain time. To ensure compliance and guarantee success, the UN through the UNDP has provided some backup funds to each country towards achievements of those goals. These funds are part of what Nigeria uses, possibly to fund your SSA on MDG ![]() As an aside, the savings from debt relief are kept in the federation account and shared in line with the Revenue formula and NOT given to any Senior Special Assistant. Except of course you are telling us that money has been growing wings through this your SSA positions! papadonkee:You really lost me in your bolded parts. What is the money for elections meant for, if not for campaigns? papadonkee:Hmmmm, nice of you to believe her story rather than others crying foul. For me I neither believed the story of those crying foul or pointblank, rather I have just said from her defence, in her own words, things are not adding up. papadonkee:Again, my issues are not taken from the pointblanknews, rather they are issues arising from her own press release. papadonkee:Awww, sorry on this one, I'm at work now, so would leave that till later in the evening. |
papadonkee:Papadonkee, please check the highlighted parts of your own post! The funds were given through the MDG, which is funded through the UNDP. The MDG is a joint project between the govt and UNDP and you would know that UNDP would definitely fund it. So her saying that it came through the MDG project does not invalidate that UNDP funds is, or does the fact that money gets to the players through NFF imply that FIFA doesn't share World Cup apperance fees to players? Also, she pointed us to the launch of the trust fund where she gave out cheques (Note that she expressly used the word "we" , if she was not involved and it was independent, how did she get to oversee things. Again, all parastatals have their own dedicated accounts, yet civil servants still lodge monies meant for salaries into their personal account, therefore saying there was a dedicated account is mute.papadonkee:So you agree that there was funds to be shared that she could have sat on or mismanaged? papadonkee:The only information I had was the pointblank report and her rejoinder. Note however, that my analysis were entirely based on her own rejoinder as I only saw holes in what she was saying. I have also not in anyway said she was guilty or innocent, I only pointed out that from her own rejoinder, she did not answer the pertinent questions that she herself identified to be the issues. |
papadonkee:Yeah, Thanks for accepting my right to hold differing opinions. Again, what you are stating are just legal/normal stuffs. That it is supposed to have a separate account due to its independence does NOT mean the funds are not being siphoned. For decades Ministers/Local Government Chairmen/Governors all deposit money into personal accounts. Coming out to say those government agencies have dedicated accounts does not in any way invalidate that money is being dealt with in an unwholesome manner. Let me quote her rejoinder "If money was released for a specific purpose, then as long as I have been given the authority, I will decide, with no apologies to anyone, how best those resources are deployed.” Does that not imply that she control the funds? So it is was independent and not under her control as you are implying, how could she then make the bolded assertion? I do not accept explanations at face value; I examine them, weigh them logically before I make decisions, especially when it relates to public figures and money. |
papadonkee:ok, let me break it down, all monies meant for government projects have dedicated accounts opened for them, it just happens that ost times, the funds are lodged in personal accounts! Nowhere in all her statements did she address where the money was lodged! Everyone, steals money based upon their roles in an establishment. What the people are saying is that she is using her position as the de-facto leader to divert the funds. Note, the diversion is not necessarily 100%, but most can still be diverted. Giving cheques on TV does not say that was ALL the money, or does it? |
There are two allegations in the report: debrief08:And reading through her rejoinder, she merely confirmed the two, only that she gave explanations as to why she did it! On the first issue of depositing N150M inot her personal account, this is what she has to say: debrief08:Notice she did not say anything about the crux of the matter: where is the funds deposited? Irresepctive of what the funds were meant for and how the funds were set up, the question is: were the funds deposited in her personal accounts or not? The second issue: I have likewise diverted a multi-million dollar fund provided by UNDP. And her reply/statement is debrief08:What she has only confirmed is that the money has been given to her as the de-facto leader for Anambra since there was no PDP governor. She also went on to state that she can do as she pleases as long as she is in charge. Now that statement does not say that she is not in control, neither did it say the funds were not diverted. Rather it only confirmed that the money is being used however she directs - and this is the diversion people are talking about! The lady should address the core of the matter by coming out to simply state the facts as it pertains to the allegations. The above has not in any way cleared her! |
damorac:Hmmm, I thought Goodluck is the name of the leader of that party? ok, here goes: 1. Who was deputy while Bayelsa state was being stolen blind? - Goodluck 2. Who was the governor who spent over N70B of Bayelsa money and can't point to a single achievement in the state? - Goodluck 3. Who is the President that spent N1Billion importing dustbins? - Goodluck 4. Which President promised to probe use of funds for the 50th Anniversary but 5 months after, NO ACTION! - Goodluck. 5. Which President promised to probe the amount spent on Nigeria 2010 tournament and 7 months after, NO ACTION! - Goodluck 6. Which president caused a 'nulle prosecur' to be issued against a murder accused for political reasons? - Goodluck 7. Which leader watched as his party made nonsense of politics and democracy in a state in Nigeria? - Goodluck 8. Which President proposes a budget of consumption? - Goodluck Do you still want me to mention more of Goodluck's name? |
redsun:Your quote actually started me wondering about all these people: 1. A certain Mr Fix It that spent N500Billion to fix roads in Nigeria, he is in GEJ's party. 2. A certain ruler that was accused of stealing $40B during his regime, is he not in GEJ's party? 3. A certain man that was accused of murdering a sitting AGF & Minister, he is still a member of GEJ's party. 4. A certain man that ran away from UK police and sent to jail for corruption, he is in GEJ's party! 5. All indicted governor's by EFCC, are all in GEJ's party. 6. The convict that stole NPA's money, he is in GEJ's party. So which party are you really referring to when you say we need to watch out? |
BABA IYABO: Ha! Goodluck, IBB and even you Atiku visiting me together? IBB: You know old comrades always come together no matter what! BABA IYABO: You are right IBB, but what about these civilians… especially you Atiku GOODLUCK: It’s the same matter that brought the three of us to visit you sir! BABA IYABO: Ehen? When am about to eat pounded yam and my favorite bitter-leaf soup? Okay o! As long as you guys don’t disturb me when am eating ATIKU: We will try not to disturb when the food is served IBB: But you have not even asked us what brought us here BABA IYABO: Eh! It’s because my mind is on the bitter-leaf soup, you should know I don’t joke it with. By the way it was prepared by my new catch! She is just 25, you should see her. You know my wife is dead shey? ATIKU: Yes we know, but the problem that brought us can’t wait it is very urgent! BABA IYABO: And I should forget the bitter-leaf soup because of the problem shey? IBB: Of cause not, we know you don’t joke with bitter-leaf soup BABA IYABO: So what are you waiting for Goodluck? Spill it! ATIKU: It’s about the new phenomenon sweeping the country? BABA IYABO: Mogbe! That is impossible I mean Japan is so far from here so how could the radiation get into this country? GOODLUCK: Not Japan sir, I mean the tsunami sweeping across the country BABA IYABO: Apart from Japan, there has not been any recent tsunami that I know of ATIKU: He is talking about the BB tsunami spreading like plague at an alarming rate! BABA IYABO: Buhari? Bakare? And that’s why you came to disturb me when am about to eat my special bitter-leaf soup prepared by my sweet 16! GOODLUCK: Sixteen? Is that not illegal? I thought you just said she was 25? ATIKU: She is 25 quiet alright, but we call young girls sweet sixteen! BABA IYABO: I never believe I will say this, but THANK YOU Atiku! By the way IBB are you also afraid of BB? GOODLUCK: Sorry sir, but at the rate they are going they might, BABA IYABO: Don’t ever interrupt me again when I am speaking or I will ask IBB to give you some military training right now! IBB: its not like I am afraid of them, but if BUHARI becomes president don’t you think he will come after us for corruption? ATIKU: That is what I am afraid of. BABA IYABO: Of cause, you should be afraid Atiku! You stole too much money ke! ATIKU: No just me alone! BABA IYABO: Oh! So you want to compare yourself with IBB and myself abi? Now tell me, were you in the military? And are you a general for crying out loud GOODLUCK: He was in the Customs sir! BABA IYABO: And that makes him a military man shey? Olodo! Oya tell me if he also fought in the War?! I should have known the first time I saw your face, you are not smart at all Goodluck I truly regret installing you, because you are not smart at all GOODLUCK: Tunde Bakare’s SNG helped too sir! BABA IYABO: When Queen Turai was treating you like her houseboy shey? All these happened because you are not a strong man! I should have installed an ex military man! Nigerians love strong people! The other day you were shaking because a little girl from CNN was interviewing you. Didn’t you see my own interview? I told the British boy straight to his face that his questions were silly! Same with IBB, nobody can intimidate us. Anyway as your father, I will still make sure you retain your post after the elections but you must be strong shogbo? ATIKU: But what if BB wins, what are we going to do? BABA IYABO: Has Mr FIX-IT left our dear party? I said we will take care of it! GOODLUCK: But how is that going to be possible if BB wins? They have instructed their supporters to go to the pooling stations with petrol and matches and if JEGA boys try to rig in our favor they should light them up! BABA IYABO: Action man! I trust BUHARI, you see we military men don’t take nonsense, we are ready for war at any time and that was why nobody dared me when I was ruling. Anyway now that you know all these, what have you done to convince the people that you are the best man for the job? GOODLUCK: Ermmmm!!!! Emm! Em! IBB: But they gave you opportunities to sell yourself to the public through debates BABA IYABO: I hope you didn’t take that your EMBLERA wife with you to the debates? ATIKU: Actually he has not attended any debates yet and he is not planning to attend any BABA IYABO: Goodluck, are you also afraid of talking to your own people? I mean this is not the CNN little girl o! GOODLUCK: They will ask what I have done since I became the president, especially on corruption and I am afraid I don’t have any answer for, BABA IYABO: So why haven’t you arrested anybody for corruption? During my time I arrested IG Tafa Balogun, I had the NAFDAC Woman working hard on fake drugs, Okonjo Iweala was on board working hard too. What have you been doing Goodluck? I mean why didn’t you arrest that Charge and bail Lawyer called Anakonda self! GOODLUCK: Aondoakaa sir! IBB: This is not time for names correction, you should be listening to Baba’s advice BABA IYABO: Leave him IBB, I don’t blame him at all. He has big mouth when it comes to me, yet he is afraid to even speak to his own people and has nothing to show for one year of ruling GOODLUCK: I speak to them on Facebook sir! BABA IYABO: Are you the one writing those things? You were given opportunity to speak directly to them but you ran away ATIKU: I wish you had installed me instead! BABA IYABO: You ke? so that you can loot our treasury dry! No thank you! I prefer a clueless Goodluck to you Atiku. GOODLUCK: Thank you sir! …, But I am still afraid that if BB wins, and we steal their votes all those angry Abokis will burn up the North and instead of the army to allow the country plunge into civil war, they will take over and we will be back to the military days BABA IYABO: Then you better think of attending the remaining debates, and arresting some people like Anakonda so that Nigerians will know you have Balls, because if the military takes over, IBB and I will be safe. We take care of our own but as for civilians like you and Atiku it will be hell… Anyway my pounded yam and bitter-leaf soup is ready… IBB please join me, Atiku and Goodluck wait for us here. By the time I finish eating I will have enough strength to think of a good strategy for your problem… Shey it is good to have a godfather that you can cry to eh? OYA LAUGH SMALL Jare! …….To be Continued |
We should buy 'Made In Nigeria' vehicles, where are they? Peugoet Automobiles Nigeria (PAN) stopped making cars in Nigeria a long time ago and they are into full time importation. So where does he expect them to get the vehicles? Rossikk:That is a classic assembly plant you pointed us to! All they are doing is assembling Made In China vehicles. I hope you do not the difference between Made In Nigeria and Assembled in Nigeria |
Odunnu:Odunnu, I would very much appreciate that you debunk the statements that I have made with facts rather than such grandiose delusional statements. It would be nice if you could itemise your responses just the way I bothered to list mine. It makes for better reading and passing of points across. I will patiently wait for the answers. |
You refer to Buhari as fanatical, can you please give me the pointers that make you refer to him as such. The ones I can remember are: 1. He fanatically supports good for the common man. Common man in Kano or common man in the entire Nigeria? 2. He fanatically opposes corruption. Yes like the corruption by the ABACHAS, hence he is rewarding the family with a governorship ticket afterall, some of the campaign funds are coming from Mohammed abacha, Yes corruption but was probably asleep when there was massive corruption in PTF that made one of the key officers commit suicide when PTF books where audited. 3. He fanatically preaches integrity and diligence. He preaches integrity but said in 2008 memorial service for sanni abacha that the corruption claims on abacha were mere fabrications. 4. He fanatically supported democracy once he decided to embrace it. Kindly tell me when he finally woke up to embrace it? at the age of 50? 60?. O yes i remember he was in support of abacha kind of democracy when all political parties adopted abacha. " five fingers of a leprous hand".Tell me what Buhari as the honourable you claim did when abacha was morking democracy. Kindly explain why in 20 months as HEAD OF STATE , there was no plan whatsoever to return us to democratic rule. Oh Sorry i remember he decided to embrace it when the PTF purse dried up and he decided to go for the bigger pie(presidency) in 2003 5. He fanatically believes that Nigeria can be great. And so? If you have some others forms of fanatism that he displays, I would appreciate that you list them out. Otherwise, stop blowing smoke.
Na_so, you have shown your shallow understanding of life. 1. Common man: Did I specify Kano, Lagos or Yenogoa? The man believes in the good for the common man and this is why he has massive support in the grassroots. Let me ask you, how much support can you, na_so, have in your own village? You would only have much if you've been supportive of the common good! And his supporters are spread across the nation, what does that tell you? 2. PTF: You are obviously trying to play the ostrich here. The only confirmed corruption in PTF was from the man that OBJ sent there to oversee it, and the guy ended up stealing when he couldn't find anything against Buhari. 3. Integrity and diligence are not based on personalities. He could have made those statements based on what he knows and is privy to. 4. You are indeed an Ostrich. You are accusing him of not returning to democratic rule by spending 18 months, when the guy that sent him parking and promised such, spent 8 years! Are you thinking right at all? And you'd choose GEJ over him: 1. Common man: He has no idea what the common man needs, and that is why he can spend N1B to import plastic dustbins that are being made in Aba. He can plan to spend N17B on a 50 years anniversary or spend N600M on foods in Aso Rock in a year. he has no clue! 2, Corruption: GEJ has not been able to explain which part he played in Alamesiegha's corruption. Or he didn't see it or partake in it? 3. Integrity: GEJ lacks integrity, he has shown that by denying documents that he himself signed, by double speaking and firing aides as cover up for his ineptitudes. 4. Project Nigeria: GEJ has only officially granted 3 interviews since becoming present, 2 to CNN and o course the Koko interview! Even his kids go to an American school in Nigeria. What fate does he have in the nation other than to continue to line the pockets of himself and his cronies. 5. Diligence: The govt he is part of, had a works minister crying at the state of the Benin-Ore road, 4 years into the same govt, and 10 months after he has been in govt, the road as still in the same bad shape. What I am trying to say is simple: Buhari as his faults, but compared to GEJ, he is FAR BETTER for the nation. |
EzeUche:That is some switch there! From the best end of the ladder, to the worst end of the ladder. What really was it that you wanted for the nation? What really made you support Pat Utomi? Could you find all these qualities in GEJ? |
Odunnu:It is instructive that you are responding to a post on abusive language by using the very same abusive language ![]() Is it that their minds have been violated or that the minds of the PDP supporters have been so violated that they have now come to accept rubbish as standard. PDP has so bastardised the populace that we have almost come to even accept rigging as part of elections. Some would ask that, what will happen if you vote, so therefore why vote? You refer to Buhari as fanatical, can you please give me the pointers that make you refer to him as such. The ones I can remember are: 1. He fanatically supports good for the common man. 2. He fanatically opposes corruption. 3. He fanatically preaches integrity and diligence. 4. He fanatically supported democracy once he decided to embrace it. 5. He fanatically believes that Nigeria can be great. If you have some others forms of fanatism that he displays, I would appreciate that you list them out. Otherwise, stop blowing smoke. |
ndu1988:So if you were a christian, you would refuse to read books of Romans, the Corinthians, Galatians, Titus, Ephesians, Philippians, Thessalonians, Timothy and Philemon as contained in the Bible simply because they were written by Paul who used to persecute christians? You indeed can't seem to rise beyond your bigoted outlook. |
richidinho:My guy, you need more than fresh air, you need to enroll quick-quick in on eof the new GEJ promised universities. Imagine your ignorance thinking NN24 stands for the bolded part above! Kai. |
I can't even begin to imagine why some of us Nigeria youth are thinking of voting for the ex-military dictator Buhari. Is it because to the discard-able appendage that Bakare is? Well meaning Nigerians should be considering voting in Pat Utomi. However, it's seems he didn't do his home work well this time around. Come 2015, we shall move a massive movement to help him become the President of Nigeria. Nigeria deserves a good leader, not this slightly above average politician (GEJ), or the below average despot (Buhari), and the screaming house green-horn (Ribadu). Anyway, the best option now is to vote for the GEJ, in-trust-for Prof. Pat Utomi (who would hopefully work harder next time).
I dey laff o! Is it the same GEJ that has promised the North the Presidency in 2015? and you're voting HOPING that he works better/harder the next time?? I can't even begin to imagine the logic behind your statement. The youths need to vote someone that can guarantee them a future in Nigeria, not someone that we hope can. And what basis is your hope based on? The performance in Bayelsa or the performance as President? |
2buff:If you look at things from a hardware perspective, you might say the Nexus, iPhone or HTC phones are ahead of the BB. However, when you look at it from the usage perspective, the BB has the goods over all this phones. A simple comparison is, what can the iPhone do that the BB cannot do? Conversely, what can the BB do that the iPhone cannot do? All GPRS enabled phones are capable of the same thing, thus all the phones are on the same level. However, the BB brings extra to the table. The multi-touch of the iPhone is just a slicker way of doing zoom, and that is just the difference - a different way of doing things! But in itself, the BB brings much more than that to the table - the security, the instant push email and of course, the ubiquitous BBM. therefore if all that the other phones have over it is just a non-traditional way of doing things, they are cool but not deal makers. The note has also being made of the 300,000+ apps on the Android platform compared to the 100,000+ on the BB platform, and I dare ask, the most a phone has is 4GB internal RAM (expandable to 32GB for most and 16GB for iPhones), how many apps do you think an average user would install, 10, 20, 100, 200 or 1000? So in essence, every user would get the few apps they actually need. And that is the main essence, that each user has access to what they need irrespective of how many possibilities exist. (And from my browsing the android market, you'd have 100s of apps doing exactly the same thing in different ways.) At the end of the day, the BB platform offers users what traditional phones do and much more, and it the added benefit of reducing the total cost outlay for the user. And that, is the main reason why Nigerians are crazy about the BB. |
rhymz:You aint got nothing, nada, zilch facts to show that there has ever been a Presidential debat organised by NEDG. EVen they themselves cannot claim that! I don't know jack ko, the jack you know is definitely a figment of your imagination. rhymz:You must be confusing an interview with a presidential debate. Kai, you must be kinda dense to say BON is part of a media house. To educate you, BON is an umbrella body of media houses. There has never been a debate in Nigeria, you can google it, you can research it, you'd come out with zilch. Do not attempt to fool us that know much more than you. Imagine you are comparing the reach of a news media house to NEDG which is just an NGO, you are definitely not improving in knowledge. |
Beaf:At least while waiting for the bown envelopes, I managed top read the PIB. GO AND READ THE PIB. Your logic is lost in transit. Why do you keep arguing? For fun? That we lose money is not in question, does that money amount to $150B was the issue, Dundee. Firstly, we do not have the capacity to satisfy demand for any petroleum product, we must import every type of fuel. Stop peddling lies. You are a certified ignoramus that has refused to learn. Giving all the available data, you still cannot process it. Buhari built 2 additional refineries in Nigeria in 1978/1979, and they satisfied all local requirements, much more so that we were exporting to Niger and Chad. The failure has been with successive govenment to maintain them and add additional capacities. That man passed through the best military schools in the world, he is amongst the elite military men of this world. One of the few men to hold the highest possible military rank in the world. If that man and Collin Powell gets to the Standhurst, he would have seniority over him! |
rhymz:You are a retard! You have only posted up here that BON has NEVER organised a presidential debate but rather have always proposed one! So to you, an organisation that has never done something should be respected and waited upon, than one that has put all plans in place to do one and has even done the Vice-Presidential debate. Cmon man, you can do better than this! |
Beaf:It is stupidity that makes you post two contradictory items in support of the same thing. I only asked you to think a little, but it seems that is also too hard for you to do! Well let me help you. If the guy had $2.8B he would not be in a position not to have several houses spread across this nation. He would not be in a position where Shekarau with a few billion naira can have more weight than him in ANPP. Compare that to your GEJ that claims only 2Billion naira and yet has 5 houses, 2 hotels and 3 estates in Yenogoa. |
Beaf:At least both of us now agree I might have seen the PIB while you have not! So respect someone that knows more than you and learn. But go a step further, GO AND READ THE PIB. |
Beaf:You are indeed clueless! Let me explain it to you, Gas Flared is that part of gas that you allow to burn off during the production of oil because you want to continue producing oil and do not have capacity to process the gas. Should you decide not to flare gas, you either have to process it to an LNG /Gas plant or simply shut-in the well, meaning no more oil production as well. So ow I hope you understand why the flared gas is a portion of the total production of a country and thus is related to the gross earnings from oil & gas in that counry. Olodo! Beaf:You are indeed a comedian posing as a graduate from the school of laughter. You are saying a man that presided over the building of two refineries with a total capacity of 180,000 barrels of oil contributed to the shortages of petroleum products. You are a dimwit. Since you read my post but could not comprehend, I will repeat for you again. We have enough installed capacity for kerosene but not enough for PMS. Therefore if the refineries were working at 100% capacity under Jonathan as you alluded to, there should be no kerosene scarcity! But because you and I know that GEJ and his cronies have been siphoning the money off under the subsidy ruse, there has been petrol availability but no kerosene. And there in is the uncovering of the lie that the refineries were working. |
