The temporary slip HAS THE NIN, the temporary slip is different from the enrollment form. While the Enrollment Slip is just really a confirmation of data capture, the Temporary Slip has all your details that any institution would use to verify your identity.

As a matter of fact, NiMC is brooding the idea (which is what it should have been actually) that the Card itself is not mandatory and having your NIN number assigned to you in the main thing. As of now, once you quite your NIN at Immigration, you would not need to do any data capture for your International Passport.

Security guys and house helps who do not have ID cards now have account numbers. That I'm aware of. No visitation is done for such small accounts. We need their deposit. In fact, their low cost deposit forms the largest size of a bank's liability position.

However, the last time I checked, a customer's request to open a savings account for his child was turned down because the benefactor couldn't present a verifiable identity card.

Maam, the CBN had issued a circular to ALL Financial Institutions in Nigeria to accept the NIN Slip as a valid means of identification.

CBN read the NIMC Act and directed all financial institutions accordingly, which is why the NIMC account could come down hard on the Sterling bank customer support handle.

There is no law requiring that a CEO or CTO must be PhD or MSc or BSc holder.

At the end of the day, the entire system would collapse as the system cannot be sustained.

The law says OBTAIN a Search Warrant, but evidences collected without a search warrant are admissible in Nigerian courts, therefore the law makes provision for getting a Search Warrant AFTER the event has happened. So go figure.

The school set a general test for that date..told all students they would be severely punished if they didn't come to school on the date and then their children and the staffs didn't come that day... I happened to listen to a resident of the town and they said they got a notice a week before about the attack...
