what you see there is 2 by 1" pipe and 2" for framing. This is upgraded burglary proof not a gate

Sure it is, but the price at 300k is on the high side. U guys can talk better or price but it might fly at 150k base on material price.

Can u tell us how many hollow pipe used for this gate?

My bro. I'm even surprised. A welder I asked said 300k. Reason I brought it here to asses the market value.

300k is too much for this kind of see through gate, the hollow pipe of 5.5 meters itself (2mm) thickness is not up to #6,000 currently. So how many hollow pipe used for this particular gate?
It might not fly at rate 150k

You welcome sir. We go for M15 Concrete strength Grade so far it's a story building for the columns, lintel's chain beams and also for the slab we're about to cast. I'll give a brief details when we're done with decking slab.

Good day house, how many hours is it proper to remove formwork from concrete casted columns nd beam?

let's say a standard self contain takes 700 blocks, it might not be upto 600blocks

(1) 700 x 250= 175,000

700block÷70 will give you the required number of cement to lay the block= 8bags of cement

(2) 15bags of cement x 4,500= 67,500

(3) you can run half DPC

(4) 1 trip of plaster sand will be enough at 35k

(5) Gravel 1 tipper, there will be leftover 50k or less

(6) iron and wood for lintel and pillars plus workmanship for a self contain budget 60k

Taking a house to lintel level is not quite expensive and very easy. The main spending comes in after lintel level.

So with 500k or less you will get a self contain to lintel level.

You are paying community 250k for building a self contain. For what?

You can take it to a steel testing lab to determine it's strength, also collect a copy of it's properties from the buyer.

You can manage it sir, but try to follow 30cm stirrups spaceing for foundation columns and 40cm stirrups spacing after DPC,this would prevent skipping/hanging when pouring the concrete. Pls try to text or call me for any enquiry, I'm offering free consultation. my thread is already derailed sir

Pls what is the long time adverse effects of using this size of 1 inch granite for columns for a storey building? What is the acceptable mixing ratio for this size to achieve the best strength? For the spacing see below picture, it's already at 203mm (8 inches) on 16mm tiger TMT Bar

Depending on the size of your columns, and beams. 3/4 granite size is the standard size for a story building sir.

Hmm, I av a serious problem with this oo. I ordered for a 3/4 granite yesterday the bricklayer told the supplier to supply 1 inch and he obliged oo. What can I do now now with this 1 inch granite supplied!

Not all these online stories You've to be following because they only drop reviews based on the kind Project they're Handling. The stirrups spacing of 10cm is not for a Story building.Involve a Professional Builder on your building or atleast ask two or more Artisans for reviews, if not, You'd spend more/Waste Money on Materials when handling it by Yourself.

Ok no wahala, noted. Although my engineer said it could be 300 or thereabouts, but I decided to leave it like that.

Moreso, what is ur view about the mixing ratio of sharp sand 5 headpan, granite 3/4 size 4 headpan, 1 bag if cement.

Who recommended it? The spacing can go between 40cm-60cm. But if you can afford it to be 20cm Stirrups space,then you're Good to Go.

Actually it's for a storey building, I read it online that it should be around 20cm for a storey building especially for columns.
No whaala, it's just a small building inside a well populated city. When we have big one, no wahala. Noted!

You can sir, infact 8mm is the minimum for Stirrups but you'll need accurate spacing of 40cm(16". But For 10mm, I always use 51cm(20".

Is 40cm not too much?
I plan using 200mm for the stirrups on 16mm tiger TMT bar

Good pple in the house, pls what is the best length of steel bars to cut for LINTEL PILLARS someone said I should cut it as 4 metres but my welder said I should cut it at 10feets highest.

Also what is the best strongest mixing ratio? 1:2:4 or 1:1.5:3?

Tell him to provide u with quotation listing how the price of materials and workmanship. Then the gurus in the house can help u determine the authenticity

Your dimension is a bit confusing though. But if i am to go strictly with the parameters u gave me =
L= 15.24m
B= 7.62m
Thickness= 0.23m

Total Concrete Volume = 26.71 m3

For the concrete grade 20 u intend to use, You will need;
Cement= 215bags
Sand= 16tons
Aggregate = 33tons

Regarding your question asking to use a certain size of reinforcement, I will advice that you stick to your structural drawing.

Thanks for your time and the insight engineer. Currently am on the lintel level now not slab(decking). I just want to have idea of the total cement, sand, and iron rod for the 16 pillars and the lintel in general.

That said it is one thing to use rebar (iron rod) it is quite another to use it properly.
