Bolt is now 5 for 5 in major sprint events Bolt has run in more than five individual sprint finals. i could remember seeing him two years ago in the 200 meter finals won by Tyson Gay. i was rooting for spearmon tho his athleticism was not a reason however You rooted for him because he his a fine boy |
My take on the matter. Every entrepreneur borrows money to start or expand his/ her business. Lending is one of the primary duties of a banking institution. Charles Soludo embarked on the recapitalisation programme some years bank so that Nigerian banks can engage in what he called 'Large-scale lending'. Therefore, lending tens of billions to a viable business entity is no big deal. Where a problem comes in is when the business entity defaults on the agreement. Why would a good businessman default on loan payments. My answer is: many reasons. 1. Bad practices and lack of corporate governance. 2. Very high interest rates. 3. Default on the part of the entities' clients. 4. Bad economic policies on the part of the government. Some of the companies in the list are definitely into bad practices but I wont subscribe to the opinion that everyone on the list is a criminal. You can't borrow money from a bank at 25% interest rate and expect to pay back in 3 years. Remeber you have to provide your own electricity, you have to repair your operational vehicles (damaged due to the bad nature of our roads), you have to pay excessive telephone bills, you have to pay for security. On my third point. You transact business with people who you can't predict. Imagine borrowing funds from a bank to execute a government contract. You will only get paid after the funds has generated a lot of interest. Worse still, the government cares less about how you got money to execute contracts. Some people on the least are philanderers. Some people on this same list are also the biggest employers of labour in Nigeria. If CBN forces them to liquidate their assets just to pay loans, the number of unemployed in our streets will definitely increase. This is by far the best post on the topic. Big businesses around the world owe lots of money and when they default as a result of government policies(the main reason oil and gas companies dafault), the loans are renegotiated. The major employers of labour in this country are on that list and even a company like oando that paid good dividend are owing about 7 billion. The minimum wealth of an individual is calculated using the NET ASSET method, which is asset less liability, therefore it is possible for u to owe so much and still be very rich. |
i believe the present crop of Nigeria althetes have the potential to perform at the highest level if exposed to facilities outside the country. This would build up their self confident. At the last national championship, there were some good times returned by young altheles. |
the problem with Nigeria atheletes is lack of good training facility and training grant. Tosin Dosumu went to the united states not long ago and look at the times she is running in such a short time. Grace okagbare was in the united states for barely a year b4 winning an unexpected bronze at the last olympics. |
The way usain bolt is running and breaking records, he may end up been the greatest sprinter of all time. He will need to win another 100 meters gold at the olympic for him to have a legitimate claim to that title. 9.58 is incredible and i believe he can run faster. The race was a great race. Nigeria althetes have continued their tradition of messing up at the individual sprints. The three men and two women crashed out in the 100 meters quaterfinals and Grace okagbare(Nigeria hope of running in the finals) decided not to show up for her race. The 400 meters was no different as Abugan and the other girl crashed out in the quaterfinals but Abugan looks a great prospect for the future. Nigeria hope of winning an individual medal lies with Okagbare in the long jump(would be very difficult) and Tosin Dosumu in female 400 meters hurdle. |
I think the poster was unfair to soludo, the same way people have been unfair to soludo predecessor. Progress is a gradual thing and it is impossible for anyone to achieve instantaneou success. i personally feel the last three cbn governors have tried. joseph sanusi raised the capital base to 2b and encouraged the one stop banking policy where banks diversified from core retail banking. This helped to build multiple income stream for the banks. soludo raised the capital base to 25b and that allowed the banks to have funds to fund big businesses and therefore take risk. i believe that if soludo was still in charge, he would have cleaned up the system. you will expect that raising the capital base from 2b to 25b will create this sort of problems especially when these ceos increased their capital base to 100s of billions. sanusi is cleaning up the system his own way and i am sure he will encounter problems throughout his tenure and after his tenure expires. That would not make him a failure. I think soludo has strong supporters among people that knew nothing about cbn b4 his tenure and these people went about bashing formal cbn governors. The truth is that soludo has done well and nobody can take dat from him. |
The German chancellor will sign into law a legislation dat will allow germany banking regulator to sack any unfit CEO |
The Punch Editor Steve Ayorinde was paid 2 million to support the Yar'Adua campaign and he still had the nerve to write this. http://www.punchng.com/Article-print2.aspx?theartic=Art200903263223015 He must be feeling foolish. I have documents and will address him soon. Enough of the gloating. I hope you are clean because i feel it will be morally wrong for you to go around attacking everyone if you have skeleton in your cupboard. |

The cycle continues; girl marries boy, gets maltreated by MIL, becomes a mother, conceive a boy, becomes a MIL and maltreat her DIL. |

Insolvency law allows a creditor to go to court after fullfiling certain conditions and demand that its debtor should be liquidated compulsory. The case between Access bank and AP would be decided depending on the contract signed. If AP did not sign a forward contract then it will have to pay back the money it owes the bank using the exchange rate on the day Access bank transfered money to AP business partner's bank abroad. |
It seems to me that Yaradua might end up making people believe obj was a good president. |
where is Danjuma and Atiku on your list. OBJ spent 3 billion on electricity contract. |
marginally Maicon becos he is a better crosser of the ball |
i have seen people create time from nothing 4 what they really desire. you can create the time for yourself. it boils down to planning and don't rush into marriage. |
Since you are in Lagos and you run a catering service i would suggest a couple of places where you can meet marriageable men; 1. church - Be active in a church group. A large church is preferable 2. School - you can further your education by going for a higher degree. Marriageable men abound in such places 3. Neighbourhood - Be nice to people in your area and be ready to discuss different issues with them. You will never know when one might come calling 4. Your job looks demanding and this might limit your ability to go out with friends. Try to create time for yourself especially on saturdays to hang out with friends. You can initiate it. |
Ladies that end up been a full housewife and also a full career woman usually regret it in life. Therefore, it is very important for women to balance the two. On a personal note, i don't think a woman that is not nursing a baby should be a housewife. If she cannot get a job, she should start a business. |
Bomany There are two different books and you can check out the details and what it contains on www.niajainfo.com |
There is a custom document that has the minimum amount of surface duty that must be paid for different categories of vechicles been imported into the country. From the surface duty, you will calculate the amount of overall duty payable to the federal government. The calculation is very easy. knowing the amount of duty you are required to pay, enables you to monitor all other documented payments. The other documented payments are shipping company charges(for cars, it is usually small), Terminal charges(if applicable),Transportation charges(applicable if the vechicle is containerized) and clearing agent fee(should be between 30,000 and 50,000 naira) . This document is included in my e-books importation made easy and import duty calculation explained. But for your sake, i have attached an extract from the document. www.niajainfo.com |
In the world we live in, if you do not value your wife and children in front of others, they will be disregarded. Fraudstars abound in many European countries and i am sure that Emirate dear not post anything negative about these countries because these countries value themselves in front of others. Nigerians value yourselves. |
If u check it, majority of these married men are the ones chasing the single girls, not the other way round. In any case, some girls find more security dating a married man, at least u know the deal and prepare your mind, unlike with most single/guys/playas who pretend till they get what they want. Any girl above 21 is guilty of dating a married man. Look at the university and NYSC setting, you will notice that majority of the girls date married men and many of them go on to marry unfaithful husdands( women don't be deceived, there is a possibility that your innocent and loving husband is unfaithful ) |
She did not flash. Her picture was taken. If they take all ladies pictures the way they take hers, you will agree with me that she is a saint. |
They steal the money |
check my website next week for a detailed business plan(it's free). you can use the business plan as a starting point and i will advice you to come to Nigeria and analyse the situation on ground before making any decision. www.niajainfo.com |
As a female i will advice you not to start a truck business with just 1 million. Believe me, you will be out of business in three month. If you are lucky twelve month and if you get all the luck in this world you will be successful. it is risky depending on luck. i will make avaliable a free business plan on starting an haulage business on my website next week. you can use that as a guardian if you are interested in starting an haulage business. The business plan is based on a ten million capital and an overdraft facility of 500,000 naira. Do not for whatever reason buy a fiat truck. You can consider starting an online shipping company. If you can develop an interactive website , you do not need lot of capital initially. www.niajainfo.com |
you can all start it instead of complainingwww.niajainfo.com |
Italy scored a clear goal (own goal) which was declared offside. I thought modern day football offside rule says that the man in an offside position must first make contact with the ball before the ref blows his whistle. If you know the rule comment. |
Tinubu should answer for his sins now. Other politicians will answer for theirs latter. you cannot free a thief because other thiefs are walking freely. |
By far Ronaldino. Zizo is a great player because of the competitiveness of the Euro championship which maradona and Ronaldino cannot attend. |
