presido1:So I'm right. Youre all ranting about what you admit to be the inevitable. Ride on!!! ![]() |
Please define 'secular' in your own terms. That would make it easier for us to judge. |
Honsule I am waiting, ,, |
Ok just send it anyway, Ill send the amp. now. |
OK Please drop your e-mail address. I use a Fly SX390. Most .jar apps work on it. Thanks. |
Honsule haba now I wasnt trying to show off or anything like that, I was just feeling sorry for myself because I can't win your prize. ![]() Anyway if you want the Amplified .jar I could email it to you. If you don't mind I'd like to have Matthew Henry's concordance |

jemi4real:Anyone!!! |
babaearly:Juju is not much of their culture. It is 'small' of their culture. |
O.K seriously in your opinions is there possibly anything that can be done to fix Nigeria? Are you all here ranting about the inevitable? |
Like someone said, one cannot make generalisations about this issue. However, I think that it would generally work better with marriage thatn with dating/going out. You say you both just got admission, meaning that it is likely that you are both young and still having fun and trying out stuff. In this case, if it is the case, it is not very likely to work because there is no serious, as in serious commitment like marriage. |
Kuse |
Ehn ehn, so this is what you people are doing in your little corner of Nairaland And if it was the other way round we would be hearing of Fatwa Anyhow sha carry go. |
*posts in the wrong thread and modifies* |
WesleyanA:And the movie was culturally suited accordingly. 'Blacks' could be culturally sub-divided into Western Blacks and African Blacks. Both societies have different cultures, obviously. If the frog princess is going to be the main character, the story line and the setting is/are going to have to be adapted to either of these cultures. Otherwise it will be a waste of time and what Seun said will inevitably happen. |
Geezle:And what is wrong with what he said, as opposed to what you said? Would it make sense for me to open a new thread just to mention this? Think! |
There is already a long existing thread for the show. https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-83251.0.html Please look or search before posting. |
ISSAC!!!! wo-hoo! |
Its on!!!! |
davidylan:Speaking of which the islamists have been given their own section and have made it out of bounds, funny eough no one has said anything, I guess we are already used to the |
RedHotChic:Its beginning to sound like a moral issue. |
Iretia:That doesnt guarantee anything in Lagos ![]() |
davidylan:Taken, Im ready to learn but I think what he's saying makes sense. Im entitled to that. There are some things in 'psychotherapy' that have no foundation in the bible but are true. This is pro'ly one of them. if you're not saved there is no altitude for you.which isnt exactly true because there are loads of non-christians attaining the highest heights in life. The bible even says in Proverbs the hands of the diligent maketh rich, not the 'christian' diligent or the hands of the righteous diligent. Cheers. |
davidylan:And what is the biblical alternative you profer? The right ATTITUDE takes you to the best altitude and this attitude is; when next you face a challenge take the good out of it with joy and refuse the rest by prayers, I see you smiling already.that is unbiblical. I think "count it all joy when you fall into diverse temptations" etc works here. |
manmustwac:You say it like its good news, its terrible news. What There is still a God. |
My God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. You've paid your monthly bills, all is taken care of and the remaining change is your for your tithe when a relation calls from home asking for the equivalent of your tithe to save her father or mothers life. Do you apply the obedience rule and ignore her or do you give her the money to save the life and disobey God?Is it not possible to sacrifice the tithe amount from one's disposable income for that month? After all it is for a life! |

Thank you all. I will get back to him and keep you updated. 4Her, you cannot prove your claim so there is no point making it. It is actually foolish to make an allegation you cannot back up with facts. ![]() I dont owe you the truth. |
702:Read up. |
shinystar:No, but when we criticize without query without proof or evidence it is wrong. |
No one has answered my question oh what passage states exactly "forgive and forget"?
I dont know of any but the bible does say that God remembers our sins no more when we get born again i.e. sins prior to this. This is probably where the concept is gotten from. When God says He will forget our sins I dont think He actually erases it off His memory. I think what happens is that He does not relate to us based on what we have done; for example enacting the consequences of our previous sins or using those sins as a basis for allowing some good things to happen to us. I dont think its a bad idea to do likewise. . ., this is my personal opinion. |
