Avocado cup filled with chilled pineapple slices and fresh mulberries.

A client gave me the avocado three days back after boasting about having the best tasting and high quality avocado tree on the Plateau. Well...well, he was right! This is the best avocado I've had since I can remember. They were whitish kind of, creamy and tasty

The tomatoes on the background was given to me by a satisfied client. Premium tomatoes only. cheesy

armyofone:
Ingredients -
- 1 small pack of Zobolin
- 1 ripped pina (pineapple) peeled, diced and blended to be very smooth and light (no water added)
- half a kettle of boiled water

Process is simple. Put zobolin in a bowl and add the hot water. Let it stand and then sift out wasted leaf.
Add your blended pineapple and stir.
The frost developed when I stirred.

I didn't add any sugar. Not sure if sugar would have made it not frosty.
Thanks. I will try a lower version of this

BossJamal:
Our locust bean is called dawadawa in Hausa..our girls make it,they know how to mix it. My mum had a lady who supplies it and other spices to her if I can remember. I miss it I need to call her to send it down to Abuja for me...will need it for my homemade suya soon. If Akpos and Preston can do wonders in d kitchen why can’t I...a full grown man grin

Wow! Please i would like to start a mini garden and since i dont have any land space, i will need you to please teach me how to do it this way
Kindly note that this method is not really advisable for tomato. Why? Because the variety I grew then was supposed to produce about 70 fruits per plant but I got 10 fruits. However, you can use the block method in my Diary post. With proper management, you should get over 50 fruits per plant.
Also, I didn't use soil (it is soilless). I mixed coco peat and rabbit dung. You can use soil if you have good loamy soil in your area.
Gardening/farming is a bit complicated, easy and requires patience

Akposy will tomato seed grow from that plant white its in the block?
Yes! I have grown tomato in Eva PET bottle and it produced fruits. I used hydroponics. In agriculture, nothing is impossible

Which fact?
They sat in their office armchairs and came up with magic figures.
Food is always expensive at this time of the year because we are just getting into planting season ( start of the rains).
Very soon tomatoes, pepper, yam, potatoes will full everywhere.

Meanwhile, many southerners always insulting northerners online cannot even plan an ear of corn.
I wish northerners would stop bringing food to the south for just 1 month. Let's see whether SW, SE and SS will not be humble after.
Nansense!

Believe them at your own peril. Don't go and farm and keep believing crap statistics.
Oga, I do my garden at home. I once had a small farm (on rent)

You're not in light of agriculture in Nigeria. Firstly, there are many, many farmers in the South. I have over 100 customers (and the many I'm not aware of) growing vegetables (tomato, watermelon, cucumber, pepper et Al) in the south.
According to FAO, about 12.8 million Nigerians will be faced with food insecurity between August and September this year.

The problem is the government take most of the juicy agricultural aid to the North. Many southern farmers are helping themselves by themselves. Lemme stop here
PoliticsRe: 'The Famine That Will Hit Nigeria This Year, Only God Can Save Us' - Jamil Mabai by Akposy(m): 12:43pm On Jun 18, 2021
This is pure fact!

According to United Nations FAO, about 12.8 million Nigerians will be food insecured between August to September this year. This is due to Bandits attack, Covid19 impacts and climate change

The thing is, we Nigerians have very low self esteem( I think it's caused by yrs of brainwashing and examples set by people on top that we look unto), so we are constantly trying to prove ourselves to ourselves. It is well.

I like her. The only problem I have with our content creators is too much make up in the kitchen. You are cooking for crying out loud! Make it real. Things like that put me off seriously otherwise she is good.
I do watch her videos on YouTube.
I've seen some food vloggers with long nails (artificial) cooking online.
Truth is no good cook or chef cook with long nails and heavy makeup. It is against food safety rule. All through my stay in culinary school, I didn't see any female chef with heavy makeup or nails.

Avocado banana orange smoothie topped with toasted cashew nuts is the starter of the day.
Avocados are super rich in healthy fats; mono and polyunsaturated fats. These are beneficial to our body system.

Happy new week

Seems you like boiled egg a lot, like a really lot. LoL
Boiled egg is an essential in Ayamase sauce o.

I'm actually on a protein diet (about 4 eggs daily) but the fear of egg price (1600/crate) made me reduce it to 1 egg per day

Hot beans porridge and bread on a cold Saturday morning.

As a Nigerian student, if you don't cook beans on a Saturday morning then you're not a Nigerian student to the core grin

In other words, one congo of beans is now #1,200 over here, they're trying to frustrate us from eating beans but God pass dem.
As a student then, I was never a fan of beans. I prefer spaghetti/noodles.

Haba! This country sef, how can beans be more expensive than rice?
Over here, the white costs 700 and the brown costs 800 naira
