forzarush: Could you please put me through the process of getting that? Hello Like I said earlier, I used 100 naira Tigernuts to make it. I don't know how much they sell in your location. However, get one cup of Tigernuts (measuring cup "cup" Soak your Tigernuts in water for 24hrs Drain the water Put the Tigernuts in a blender or food processor. Add in 4 cups of water and blend till it is creamy and well ground. Using a colander, sieve or cheese bag, squeeze out the juice (milk) into a clean bowl. Pour the pulps (shafts) back into the blender. Add in another cup of water and blend for about 3 minutes. Repeat the above process. You can drink like that or serve chilled. The first pics is the first milk I got. It was highly concentrated and sweeter. The second pics was from the second blending. If you like it sweeter, you can add Dates and Coconuts

cococandy: Akposy please pass me these noodles. Na beg I dey.
BTW sorry about your sour plums. The last ones I purchased were so unexpectedly sweet I was wondering if they soaked them in sugar. I guess it depends on luck . Although there are also various species so that might be part of the reason why. Thanks. Noodles no reach down sef Maybe but I'd not buy it again. I rather buy banana or apple. Species play a role too. For instance, garden egg (African eggplant) has both bitter and sweet varieties seed chaarly: Smassssssssssssssssssssh!
will smash the plate when I'm done sef
Kai.. I go run this thing Akposy Haba aboki..hankali na. You wan smash my plating plate fa? Thanks |

britiko: Thank you. I will save this now. Still awaiting the bean recipe.
Also, is it okay to use a slow cooker for this ewa agoyin?
Contributions from house pls... I don't know what slow cooker is but for the beans.... Boil your beans with akaun (potash) till it is very soft. Mash with your turning garri (wooden spatula) to your taste. Be careful of excess water in the beans |

britiko: Lovely, pls can u share the ewa agoyin and its stew recipe. I can't find my bookmarked page from mirangeles post. Thanks a bunch. For the sauce, you have to use enough oil...Asin plenty oil Palm oil Dry chilli pepper Seasoning cube (Maggi) Ground crayfish Salt Ginger (optional) Soak your dry chilli in water for about 4hrs or over night. Blend till it is very smooth Bleach your oil on heat. Add in your diced onions and fry till it is brown (not burnt) Add in your blended pepper. Fry continuously till it turns black or till you perceive that popular agoyin aroma While frying, add in your crayfish, salt and Maggi. That's it...you can ask questions where you're not clear |
