Yes, you read that clearly, 20% of Zimbabwe's landmass now belongs to the Arabs. This piece of land is comparable to the size of the entire UK. The purpose of purchasing the land is said to be for 'offsetting carbon emissions' but a lot of the details are shrouded in secrecy and it is unclear whether any part of tge deal makes it possible for UAE to use the purchased land for human settlement. If yes, then considering the history of the Arabs towards Africans, In 10-50 years from now, what Israel is doing to the Palestinians might be child's play compared to what the Arabs will do to the Neighboring African countries after they create their no-African-allowed country in the purchased land and start seeking territorial expansion.

My best guess is that the UAE bought this piece of land with dollars that they are trying to get rid of going by the current global de-dollarization trends.

Just when you think some if the African leaders are beginning to think and act wisely.

I could vividly remember at about the time I was 15, going to 16-year of age.
