naptu2:
This ridiculous attempt to cause controversy by claiming that there is no coronavirus in Nigeria is laughable.

The man was initially treated at Lafarge clinic. That means that Lafarge, a huge French company, is lying.

The World Health Organisation sent a team to assist in managing the patient. In fact, the WHO team are amongst the people that the minister met when he visited the emergency centre and the officer in charge of WHO Nigeria has assured Nigeria of its full support. That means that the World Health Organisation is also lying.

WHO has also commended Nigeria for its handling of the index case.

This ridiculous plan to cause confusion would have been laughable and comical if it wasn't for the fact that human lives are at stake.
No mind them.

Health › Re: Lagos State Government Reacts To Fake News About Corona Virus by alezzy13: 6:52am On Mar 01, 2020
Well the case of the Uber driver demanding 100m is obviously fake.

However what about the alleged poor condition at the Yaba isolation center? If one has been to Nigerian public hospital you agree that it's likely there was some truth in that story.

Btw, what does he mean about women seeing marriage as an achievement? It's it one?

Furthermore, what's that got to do with the behavior of the wife in the supermarket??

But in truth, assaulting another person is a constitutional offence.

Plus it's really embarrassing for a wife to be seen contending with an outsider... a little desperado. Personally, I can't stoop that low. It's Amaka she's fighting today... tomorrow she'll start planning how to confront Jane... then Rita.. That's just a whole lot of headache and waste of valuable time.

I know that there are exceptions, but in my experience, it's the men who make the advances most times. I always wish girls will be wiser and more disciplined, and that the ones who wouldn't would receive full recompense for their actions.

I'll rather channel all that energy to dealing with the prostituting husband. There are so many ways to make a person sorry.
Inconvenient truth. cry embarassed
I'll boldly say that in well over 80% cases, the man makes the move, and can be VERRRRYY persistent.

That is why it is referred to the head of state.
The president is not a head of state.

You cannot arrest a journalist doing his job.
Trump would have jailed the whole of CNN.
*Sigh*

Another Trump asslicker. Trump's behavior is worse than an African dictator. It's the strong institutions that have helped keep him in check, and just barely.

What is wrong is Imo having a chief Imam?

If a state in the north restricts a Christian(esp an indigene) from attaining a religious position, wouldnt those of us here in the south shout at the top of our voices calling it prosecuted (and rightly so).

So why are some persons complaining here?
Hypocrisy much??
I'm a Christian, but have to admit those complaining are being hypocritical

Them go gree hear? Our former maiguard who couldn't boast of more 20k a month had 2 wifes 5 children. And guess what? He was planning on taking a third!!

Honestly until we tackle the population issue especially up north, all the talk about reducing poverty will be empty noise.
Politics › Re: Beggars In Lagos Protest Against Harrassment, Block Goverment Offices by alezzy13: 6:41pm On Feb 25, 2020
Personally I don't see anything wrong giving to those in genuine need, particularly those with a disability of some sort.

My main annoyance is seeing young able bodied persons taking to begging.

Take those young girls holding the placards, for instance. They clearly look okay and not physically challenged in any form, so why on earth take to begging??

Naturally that's what to expect.

May I just ask if the Hausa/Fulani riders along Badagry road lords of their own? Is Badagry road not part of the banned roads? The whole length of the road starting from Orile is completely overrun by these people and the citizens seem totally helpless. Our Police watch them without taking actions to preserve the law banning them. The traffic along that axis is worsened by the nuisance behaviour of these aboki okada riders.

Since the ban there has been total peace in Lagos but we seen the daring ones around Ipaja/Dopemu areas coming out. Trekking has reduced as water has found its level.

It appears like the ban was placed on supposedly big men areas. Please there should be total ban in the whole of Lagos. Those who live in Ikotun - Igando have been having serious issues with the Hausa/Fulani who have taken their bikes there.

Government please ban these people in the whole length and breath of Lagos. Anyone who disagrees with this must be selfish and wicked.

This Okada mode of transportation started in the then rural areas in Lagos in the 80s with government looking the other way. Now people have embraced the rubbish and don't want it to stop.

Mega cities all over the world do not have okadas neither do they have irresponsible unions like NURTW. The union must be banned, danfos must be banned as Ambode originally planned and then sanity and peace would be restored on Lagos roads.
Ban okada, ban danfo. Then what do Lagosians use? Uber??
Politics › Re: Lagos Records Massive Drop In Accidents After ‘Okada’ Restriction by alezzy13: 6:16am On Feb 25, 2020
Well the reduction in accidents is welcome, but they should urgently seek out alternatives.

Was in Lagos over the weekend and didn't find it funny. Ikeja to Opebi and you have to wait for buses . . .

Personally I'm not sure I'll want to stay in same room with wify when I eventually marry.

I'm an intensely private person, and being in same room with someone 24/7 will surely get on my nerves
Family › Re: Should A Husband And Wife Stay In Separate Rooms? by alezzy13: 4:43pm On Feb 23, 2020
It all depends on circumstance: Snoring partner, bedwetter, etc

For instance I know of a couple who choose to stay separate because the husband can't sleep without ac on full blast while the wife is very sensitive to cold. So they stay in different rooms but are very okay with it.
