I'm saying that Peter agrees with Jesus who said that the old testament laws are still valid. I'm saying that nowhere in the new testament were the old testament injuctions to kill false prophets invalidated. So they don't need to repeat it. They just reaffirmed in even harsher words the iniquities that would befall men like Obadiah777. There is no forgiveness for false prophesy.

Concerning false prophets, the new testament is in total agreement with the old testament about what fate should befall them.

Peter dedicated a whole chapter to preaching their destruction and affirming that God will have no mercy on them. Just read this:

So I really don't see where the obsolescence of the injuction to destroy false prophets is in the new testament. Read it better.
