maclatunji: Well, you want the man to talk and be killed the next day when your government cannot provide the most basic of security. Isn't that just brilliant?
You are a blogger, don't post anything else on your blog for the next one month except this issue of Boko Haram. Then we will know that you are truly passionate about the people.
#NaughtyGirl So all the Christian pastors who openly condemn Boko haram are foolishly risking their lives because Boko haram may target them?. So the Nigerian Islamic ulama is not brave enough and do not believe their Allah will protect them if they speak out against the evils of Boko haram?. |

Why can't the sultan publicly disclaim the Boko haram?. He cannot because they are in support of it. So, muslims can lie all they want about how they feel on the activities of boko haram, but I ain't buying it. |

LeoMax: We all know that seccession of Nigeria into 2 or more countries will result in a war. We know it. The best approach is true federalism as practice in USA.
1. 100% taxable resource control. Each State control their national resources, with a certain % of tax paid to the central government. A single parliament is okay, why do we have House of Reps and Senate, na same work dem they do.
2. State Police
3. Establishment of Federal Police
Each state will exist independently, and manage its security, these mallam soldiers and police.
The Center will become less juicy so IBB and Atiku and Buhari sympathizers and Kaduna mafia wont make the country ungovernable. If you create state police, then get ready to be brutalized by the police when you are not from that region or tribe. Nigeria is not yet mature to have state police. |

Do you have the funds to undertake these measures. If yes, why haven't you supported Becomerich since he has been preparing for war single handedly? |

its as if killing in Gods name is right. if God is powerful why fight kill and destroy in his name?

lucabrasi: @topic nigerians never cease to amaze me,as usual we leave the more serious to blindly tackle the sublime
in a state where the roads are virtual death traps in a state where there are thrice the number of inhabitants using facilities in a state where the main mode of transportation is the road the man at least makes available an alternative and they are talking about it being used
why do nigerians patronise second hand clothes market in yaba and other areas when galleria, the palms and other boutiques selling brand new designers abound?? the canadians are totally right to make fun of us having their used trains, but we are not only using their used trains also their used cars, their used clothes their used generators in fact their used anything that can fit into a container like OYB said in the first page of this thread HOLD YOUR CLUELESS GEJ RESPONSIBLE AND STOP DENIGRATING A MAN WHO IS TRYING TO USE THE LIMITED RESOURCES AVAILABLE TO HIM TO MAKE THINGS BETTER FOR LAGOSIANS!
i have seen people trekking more than 30/40/50 miles on a daily basis due to an inability to get a bus as recent as last year with okadas charging an arm and a leg bus drivers charge people exorbitantly because they know majority of the commuters don't have a choice same as okada drivers
i would rather sit comfortably in a fairly used tram and get to my destination than thumb my nose at it and continue trekking almost 80miles on a daily basis if you haven't worked in a man's shoes it is eminently difficult for you to theorise where it pinches, Because our GDP is very poor and we cannot afford to buy those things new like westerners. Is it a crime to be poor again?. |

LagosShia: one thing i would tell anyone is that Islam is not responsible for these acts and anyone who carried this act cannot at all think he is a Muslim.he is not a Muslim.as a Muslim, the deaths of these innocent people was not done or carried out in my name or the name of my God or the religion of Islam.these acts were carried out by evil men who got no conscience and do not fear God.this is not what religious people do.
these acts are only aimed at tarnishing the reputation of muslims and loading bullets into the guns of the evil minded missionaries like frosbel to condemn Islam and make it look that Islam is responsible.
i want to appeal to Almighty God to expose the evil of these men who carried out the attacks and spare muslims and the religion of Islam He revealed for mankind from the venom of the ill-intended men who want to hold us to ransom for the acts of evil minded and selfish men.
may God help Nigeria! Please stop the hypocrisy because God hates hypocrites. You and I know that you will forever support the annihilation of Christians in Nigeria as long as you subscribe to dangerous Islamic ideology. Stop appealing to God because He is not interested in your appeals unless you change from your evil ways. Jesus still saves lives. |

25 killed as blasts hit two churches in Nigeria No group claims responsibility after explosions hit town near capital and city in center of country ABUJA — At least 25 people were dead Sunday after explosions hit two churches in Nigeria amid a wave of sectarian attacks targeting Africa's most populous nation. The first blast struck St. Theresa Church in Madalla, a town in Niger state close to the capital, Abuja, authorities said. The explosion destroyed at least eight cars parked near the church on a main highway running through the region, said Yushau Shuaib, a spokesman for Nigeria's National Emergency Management Agency. An emergency official told The Associated Press that at least 25 had been killed in the explosion. "We were in the church with my family when we heard the explosion. I just ran out. Now I don't even know where my children or my wife are,'' said Timothy Onyekwere. "I don't know how many were killed but there were many dead.'' http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/45786378/ns/world_news-africa/#.TvccrNQeNks |

auwal87: they use Islam, Islam has its own way of fighting enemies which STRICTLY forbids killing women and children and STRICTLY forbids destroying placed of worship. this is the real truth. That's not the truth. Islam forbids killing women and children of the same faith but when another religious faith is involved, Islam allows total massacre. So their actions are in order according to what Muhammad taught them. |
