niassawa:You are free to go to hell. ![]() |
4 Play:Because women are emotional and barely violent. Chances are a man may lose it and give you upper cut if you dare slap him because he is possessed. |
Yes oh, they were never slapped by their parents IN NIGERIA whle growing up. In some really strict churches, any elder can discipline you back in the day if you step out of line and guess what- did we have the high level of fornication, nonsense and lackadasical christians who have taken over the churches today. People who dont know their left from their right. Imo, its far better to slap yourself before God himself slaps you but what do i know.
You are right because you know nothing. Parents discipline their kids when they do something wrong but Oyedepo slapped this little girl because she called herself a Jesus witch. How do you compare both?. Unless the girl is his out of wedlock child but I don't know who gave him the authority to abuse that girl in front of over 10,00 people. What will the slap solve for the girl assuming she is bewitched?. Will the slap deliver the girl from evil spirits?. What about cursing the girl further by telling her to go to hell?. Is that part of the healing process too?. Cunning adults like you has no place in this world because I am yet to understand why you suddenly fell in love with this sort of behavior but condemned Helen Ukpapio for using the same method to abuse Akwa Ibom kids. You are a 2 faced she devil. |
Well, sad event but i hope the lady now understands the difference between witchines and Jesus? That slap might have saved her life or sanity for all she knows. Speaking as an impartial observer.
Smh, so Helen Ukapio burning children's hands in the name of deliverance was a good deed?. What is the difference between what the Aqua Ibom queen did and what bishop Oyedepo did?. She might have saved their lives with the burns, who knows abi?. ![]() |
stagger:Shut up fool, why must you slap me spiritually?. Why are you in love with violence?. Can't you speak over me spiritually and watch it happen since your God given power to used only for cursing His children?. Clap for your self as your demonic agents and you work hard in peddling familiar spirits. The God I serve is greater than the coward-violence loving-angry-frustrated-crippled god that lives in you. |
stagger:You are a big foool. If the lady's intention is to wield a spiritual warfare against shiloh, why not use your higher God-given power to bind her?. If you think she is becoming a nuisance, why not use security and expel her from that premises?. So if 1000 witches assemble for shiloh 2012, Oyedepo will employ US drones to demolish them instead of waging a spiritual warfare?. So what you understand from Exodus 22: 18 is to make sure witches are assaulted?. After all Elijah killed 400 prophets of Baal. Why didn't Oyedepo kill them off instead of wasting his time to deliver them?. Didn't the bible say we are fighting against spiritualities and powers and not physical humans?. |
Shouldn't Oyedepo ask her what "winch for Jesus" actually means instead of assaulting her?. If Tinubu did the same to a PDP female supporter, y'all will start calling him a woman beater. Is Oyedepo not a woman-beater here?. Is that how he beats his wife at home if she annoys him?. People use phrases like that all the time. Some Christians say I have "prayer-juju" and stick it on their cars. Should their pastors assault them because of the "juju" in their claim?. Besides, shouldn't king Oyedepo rebuke the young lady instead of assaulting her?. Where did Jesus slap the devil out of someone before?. Why is he even asking them where they are from in the first place or is witchcraft more defined according to the place of origin? Below are the dictionary meanings of witch: — nWhat if the lady is referring to option number 4?. |
And you are talking to a renowned economist, graduated from one of the best known universities in the world that i would rather not mention so there is nothing you can tell me about how an economy and the wealth of a nation works rather i would be the one to school you. That said, all you mentioned is still irrelevant to your initial insinuation so i still do not get your point. Onitsha has no more impact on Enugu than other cities in close proximity with Enugu. Hell, even far away nothern and SW states have as much impact on Enugu as Onitsha does so the impact Onitsha has on Enugu is irrelevant and negligible. Onitsha is more of a transshipment point for Goods moving into the wider eastern region nothing more nothing less so your ramblings is still not clear.
Then your father must have wasted his hard earned millions sending you to school. Just ask any banker[i don't mean Union or first bank o] and they will tell you how and where cash flows from in the east and how and where they generate revenue to sustain their business especially in dire times. I don't know how else to explain my points without breaking your skull to stuff it in. FYI: Enugu is only 2nd to Ebonyi when it comes to poverty in Igboland. Isn't that why they are called ara oke? ![]() |
Why not issue free toll passes to indigenes of those areas and low income residents who can prove to the state govt that they are truly low income earners?. Others can then pay the toll if they intend to drive through that road. I don't see the reason for the state govt to borrow money and build free roads for citizens who can afford to buy high end cars like Mercedes Benz and majority of them don't pay taxes anyway. And they should use VAT system to tax those drivers. For example a 504 driver should pay less than a Lexus driver irrespective of the age of the vehicle. |
What an insult to people living in Enugu. So Enugu residents cannot afford to buy things in a mall situated in their own city again. What a very s.tupid analysis you got there. So going by your logic, rational people build a mall in a different state and city (Enugu) when their target consumers live in another state and city (onitsha). Wouldn't it make sense to actually build the mall in Onitsha since they, the Onitsha people, would be the ones, through their massive ''wealth'', that ensures that the mall survives and not the 'poor'' Enugu residents? Man are you even alright? Onitsha wealth has no iota of influence or impact on Enugu, never did and never will. We barely even see Onitsha people in Enugu. Enugu is a very self sufficient City with, i reiterate, the highest percentage of middle class in Igbo land. I guess where you are from, people cross state borders to go shopping. Man you are really thick. If any wealth from any part of Anambra has an impact on Enugu at all, it would be Awka, since some of them frequent Enugu due to work and other family related issues. I don't want to go there but it is high time Anambra people purge themselves of that nonsense notion that they are better than other Igbos, cause this is 2011 and not the 80's anymore. You people keep living in this appalling delusion while other Igbo states gradually but steadily surpass you people in areas that matter. And to answer you, if an earthquake occurs in Onitsha today, Enugu wouldn't feel it one bit economically, maybe Asaba but definitely not Enugu. Don't make me go against my fellow Igbos here and respect my City and her residents. Do not mouth off nonsense here or i would expose you.
I can't see anywhere I said that Enugu residents/people cannot afford to buy from their mall abi na Onitsha people wey dey pay their bills?. If you claim that Onitsha economy has no impact on Enugu then you must be economically blind. Even Enugu economy collapsing will also affect Onitsha economy because all those traders who come to buy merchandise from Onitsha will cease to come and unemployment rate in Onitsha will increase. Enugu on the other hand relies on tourists, indigenes as well as non indigenes who visit or decide to live there but generally, Enugu economy is more dependent on Onitsha economy than Onitsha is dependent on Enuu. Let me give you wider examples: If Nigeria economy fails like Greece, it will affect the whole of west Africa drastically plus Cameroun and Ivoria Coast. If Lagos economy fails today, Cotonou and Lome will be first hit badly before any part of south west or Nigeria. If US economy fails, there will be worldwide impact but the effect will be felt most among countries like Canada, Mexico, China, India, Phillipines and S. Korea. That's the way economy works brother. |
They have one but it became redundant after Asiwaju arrested the SW. I still remember Nnamani hosting their conference once and Fashola I think hosted them once. Peter Odili used to be the chairman. |
KnowAll:Ask any banker in the SS and SE region and he/she will tell you that Onitsha is the hub of economic activities in those areas. If earthquake happens in Onitsha today, that Enugu mall may close down. Enugu is like Newark New Jersey or Connecticut counties that generates income from NY. Same goes for the SW region, if Lagos collapses, Ibadan and Abeokuta will dry out asap. And majority of the money bags in Onitsha[60%] are Anambra indigenes unlike Aba moneybags who are equally distributed indigenes among Abia, Rivers, Imo, Anambra, Akwa Ibom,Kano and may be Enugu state. |
Eko Ile:If providing adequate environment for investors is the major issue here, why make so much noise over a shopping mall?. Afterall, there are many Chinese investors who migrated to Owerri, New Zealand farmers who invested in Kwara last year, Korean investors who continuously bet their money in Nnewi and Lagos and so on. Why didn't you guys blow the trumpet for their respective governors. So all the gas and oil companies in Delta and River states should be credited to the good works of their respective governors?. What HAS the governor done with the allocation given to him and not what private investors did. After all, there were private investors who came to Nigeria under Abacha and many will still come if Hitler decides to seize Nigerian power from hell. I am not trying to deride the governor but you guys need to stop celebrating mediocrity. Are you an almajiri who hasn't seen electricity before or what?. Also, if that shopping mall cost $100m, then Uduaghan must be a miser to spend the little to renovate schools. $100M my black yansh. ![]() |
I don't know why Nigerians love to deny that depression is a deadly disease. Some claim her death is due to remote control from village, some claim it is karma, some claim it is due to abuse by her dad/parents but nobody is ready to agree that she may have been sick from manic depression and the same way most of us deny it here may have been the same way she lived in denial. Same thing they claimed when Uche Okafor killed himself and many went as far as saying that he was too rich and had a very good job to think of killing himself. May I remind many of you that Anderson Cooper's only brother committed suicide even though he was from a super rich family. There are numerous examples of rich people who killed themselves for no reason. It is called depression my people. |
manchy7531:Foool, who told you there are no ultra modern shopping malls in Osun?. |
Eko Ile:Shouldn't you be ashamed to congratulate a state because of a damn shopping mall?. What has the shopping mall built by private investors got to do with government's achievement?. Shouldn't the govt be more concerned in building ultra modern markets for Nigerians instead of blowing her trumpets on a common shopping mall?. Are you Nigerians so beaten that you can clap for your government for peanuts?. Are you also going to clap for Chime for when some private investors build a bakery in Enugu?. |

psalmizt:Question 1: Do you know if Lagos state is collecting enough revenue to fix their high traffic roads or do you want Fashola to fix the roads with his preek?. Question 2: How many people are actually paying taxes due to them in Lagos state? Question 3: If the road has alternative routes, why protest about the toll on the new road?. Should every amenity be free?. |

Two men arrested for possessing human head …Arraigned in Osogbo Magistrate Court From MUTIU GANIYU,Osogbo Thursday, December 15, 2011 [img]http://odili.net/news/source/2011/dec/15/sun/man-head[1].jpg[/img] Suspects Two men, Moshood Babatunde,33 , Babatunde Adebayo, 38, are currently telling an Osogbo Magistrate Court how they came about a human head found in their possession. The fresh head, according to the police, was cut off from the corpse of one Jimoh Mustapha Abefe. The corpse was allegedly exhumed from a grave at a cemetery, belonging to Al-Birr Islamic (Doing Good) Foundation, located at Kelebe, Osogbo,Osun State. Abefe, aged 65, was said to have been buried on October 11, 2011. The Foundation, which was established three years ago, had been at the forefront of campaign against burial of dead ones in the house. Members believe that evils inherent in burying dead ones at home are greater than the gains. It was the same conviction that made members to raise money and purchased a large expanse of land at Kelebe as Muslim burial ground. Crimewatch gathered that those who are in need of the final resting place for their loved ones, or people who died under tragic circumstances, especially, accident, drowning, among others, find solace in the burial ground. The cemetery was considered secured until recently, when members of the Foundation started noticing signs of activities by some unscrupulous and uninvited individuals. The Foundation’s Chairman ,Alhaji Ismail Kolade and the Secretary, Mallam Jimoh Lateef, said they were disturbed by the development, adding that it was the reason for increased surveillance at the cemetery in recent times. “We noticed that some people were disturbing the graveyard recently. We reported our findings to the police and intensified surveillance with local security and vigilance group. We also went spiritual. All these yielded positive result,” the Secretary disclosed. http://odili.net/news/source/2011/dec/15/501.html |
I will lead protest against Lekki-Epe tollgate -Bode George Written by Lasisi Olagunju, General Editor, and Sulaimon Olanrewaju, Deputy Editor Thursday, December 15, 2011 Chief Olabode George, former Deputy National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), did not hide his angst against the plan by the Lagos State government to bill motorists that travel on Lekki-Epe Road, saying it would be a rip off without the provision of an alternative route. He also spoke on his Abacha days, his trial and conviction for contract splitting as well as the fate of the PDP in Lagos and the South-West. Lasisi Olagunju, General Editor, and Sulaimon Olanrewaju, Deputy Editor, bring the excerpts. [img]http://odili.net/news/source/2011/dec/15/tribune/images/bode-george-250[1].jpg[/img] Chief Bode George advertisement YOU were at the Aso Rock Villa during thetime of General Sani Abacha, you workedwith General Oladipo Diya. How was it? It was a most trying period because when we started, there were some misgivings after the annulled election of June 12, 1993. I remember that young officers were fed up; they wanted to pull out and go to the barracks and let civil authorities be in charge. The military was divided. I remember when they were going to appoint administrators, General Abacha asked us, the senior military officers, whether we wanted civilians to be the administrators or we wanted military officers. The debate went back and forth; eventually we said if we were taking full responsibilities for our actions, it had to be military officers. So, it was decided that military officers would be the administrators while civilians would be their deputies. The next issue was that of MKO Abiola. He was hiding somewhere and suddenly, he went to Epetedo area where he declared himself president. Many of us didn't like that. I remember that we were at another meeting at the villa where a decision was to be taken on whether we should arrest Abiola. I can never forget that meeting. The head of state was the chairman and I was the secretary of the meeting. All the senior officers were at the meeting. Some said he should be arrested because he had committed a crime, while others said he had not committed any crime. I think it was a trying period in the military and I pray to God Almighty that the military will not venture into governance any more in this country. The camaraderie that we enjoyed, the oneness, the trust, the brother's keeper concept was destroyed. I will also plead with the civilians to be careful so that they don't give any excuse to the military authorities to say they want to have a taste of government again. At that meeting, I told the head of state that if Abiola was arrested, some people would think that he was being punished unnecessarily. I told them that there was no way anyone who declared himself president at Epetedo could be guilty of treason because there was no way he could have seized power from Epetedo. I said since we were planning a constitutional conference, he should be left as a freeman so that he could also participate in the conference. Less than a week after that meeting, I was out of service. That means you were also a victim of the June 12 struggle? In a way, yes. But as military officers, we didn't get concerned about what the civilians were doing, what we wanted was to save the name of our service and organisation. We wanted to save it from the vagaries of the political manipulation. You travelled out of the country shortly after your retirement? Yes, I thought discretion was the better part of valour. The situation was not quite what I expected it to be, so I went on self exile, I needed to cool off. When the heat started coming, I didn't like it and I knew worse things were going to happen, that is why I had to leave. What informed your return to the country, when you did? I was in London when I got a message that General Sani Abacha had died. It came like a thunderbolt. Not long after that, Baba (Obasanjo) was released from prison; he then visited London. Stella, his late wife, was the one I knew very well, we grew up together. When they got to London, Stella called me and I went to see them. We went out to dinner. When I was a Staff Officer in the Villa, Baba used to come and I was the one handling his visits when he wanted to see either General Abacha or General Diya. So, Baba also knew me. So, when we met, he was asking me why I left the country and I told him I had to take cover. We chatted and later parted. http://odili.net/news/source/2011/dec/15/604.html |
Money-making rituals: wife drags husband to court on DECEMBER 14, 2011 · in NEWS Toyin Owoyomi, 33, has dragged her husband, Israel, to a Grade ‘B’ Customary Court, Oshodi, Lagos, seeking dissolution of their 14-year old marriage. Owoyomi alleged at the court that her husband, after joining politics in 2007, tried to use her for money-making rituals. “I cannot allow my husband to kill me because I want to live and take care of my children. Since my husband joined Ekiti State politics in 2007, he has become fetish; he visits herbalists and does strange things, like buying white dishes and clay pots. “I lost my last pregnancy because my husband massaged my belly in pretence that he wanted to know how the unborn child was doing. “Five minutes after that I had a miscarriage which almost cost me my life. I have been having terrible dreams and revelations that my husband is up to something“, she said. Owoyomi urged the court to grant her the custody of the two children of the union, adding that she could not continue to remain married to her husband. Isreal, 43, denied the allegations and pleaded that the marriage should not be dissolved. He admitted that when he had a spiritual attack, he only visited a church and not an herbalist. “Since my wife joined Mountain of Fire Church, her ways of thinking, attitude and perception about me changed negatively. She regarded me a sinner, and will never see anything good in whatever I say or do, “ he said. The Court’s President, Alhaja A. I. Olorunimbe asked the embattled couple to maintain peace, advising Israel to seek for forgiveness from his wife before her judgement. Olorunimbe adjourned the case till Jan. 23, next year, for further hearing. (NAN) http://www.vanguardngr.com/2011/12/money-making-rituals-wife-drags-husband-to-court/ |
