I can advise what your qualification is equivalent to if anyone needs the service. What is Olabisi Onabanjo University ... Is it a Section 1 or 2 or 3. What does the section it belongs to mean? |

Mijac: Those are core courses i did at undergraduate. Both electrical and computer courses. Bsc.. Comp Eng... Uniben MSC...petroleum... Exp: reservoir Engineer... While the B.sc appears its likely to get you an AQF bachelor ICT Major/Minor or , however it appears you do not have the years of experience required by ACS... @least 2yrs post graduate degree or 4 yrs part time pre degree., to get a +be assessment. |

koleefem05: @ Alphadoor Thanks Boss...I saw the same thing. But you know the problem with those guys sometimes, they know how to reduce work experience from 5 years to 1.5years. Though I have up to 4 years experience in my present Sales Manager occupation, I'm really concerned AIM can reduce it below the required 3years minimum by SA.
Thanks for your help bro....gracias! Sir, that unknown is what is called assessment. Don't be skeptical, just package well and go for it.. In my experience, I did three times with ACS.. First was negative... Second was positive... Third was positive with 10pts for experience.. Information is power and it lies in the assessment result. Just go for it.. About 550 AUD |

koleefem05: Thanks Mr Azy123. I don't have problem with anzsco code relating to sales experience. AIM is the assessing body for Sales and Marketing Manager, and I meet the minimum requirement. Though I don't know if AIM will reduce my years of experience o. My problem however, is that my bachelor degree is not related to my skilled occupation. My bachelor is Agriculture, while my occupation is Sales. I've never for once practiced Agriculture. What do you advise sir?
Oga Alphadoor and others please rescue. Thank you all I feel your urge bro but unfortunately i don't have much information concerning your NOC. I cant afford to misinform you. I will advice you look at aims guideline however here is something i saw on there website. am not sure it makes sense but please take with a pinch of salt https://australianinstituteofmanagement.com.au/skilled-migration-assessment/assessment-criteria/

They only need you reference letter on letter head or statutory declaration and 2 payslip if letter head is not available. chikena @bnimz confam ooo. however DIBP may verify, so make sure the coy letterhead is a registered coy with reachable contacts. Payslip is also a must to backup your claims |

Bnimz: I need to ask, is this BSc from Nigeria? Cos I've been hearing that ACS requires two years experience for positive assessment, which is why I haven't been able to drag all my computer science guys into this... @bnimz obviously there has been an oversight with ACS and pre degree work experience. "At least on my part".... Its still unclear but full exploration is in progress. |

Secondly, what is your current/past Job role as ACS seems to be highly competitive if you don't have ICT certifications like CCNP, CCDP and others. This assumption of ACS is in accurate. |

doyen06: Yes your right but most cards here have a limit of $5000 per day and with the conversion, 7200 AUD is about 5400$, so that's over the limit already. I need cards with greater limit. This is in accurate. All banks uses a "No limit" for web/POS transactions. Except of course the card request for such a limit |

Bamz: Hi guys,
I'd like to know if a PR visa entitles one to a PTA (Personal Travelling Allowance). I only know that it's allowed for student visa.
Thanks. PTA is not visa related or dependent. Listed below is the criteria required for PTA allocation. If am to rephrase your question, what you will like to know is if you can get PTA on your way to OZ when u have your PR visa, The answer is YES For Personal Travel Allowance (PTA) Applicants shall be eighteen (18) years of age and above It won’t be sold to people below 18 years of age. Applicants/beneficiaries shall be holders of Nigerian Passports This means that holders of passports other than the Nigerian passport will not be able to access Forex for their trip. Applicants shall be account holders in the chosen bank For instance, if you want to buy Forex from Guaranty Trust Bank plc (GTB) you must be an account holder in the Bank before Forex is sold to you. PTA shall only apply to journeys of not less than five (5) hours flight time This means no Forex for travels to almost all West African countries since the journeys are less than five hours flight time. The flight must originate from Nigeria Sale of PTA shall be for travel to be undertaken not more than 14 days from the day of the purchase of PTA This means that Forex can be purchased within 14 days of travel once you have the necessary documents. Applicants shall be entitled to $4,000.00 per quarter You can’t get Forex of more than $4000 in 3 months. Applicants shall present verifiable BVNs to their bankers This can be obtained from your bank and it is advised to get this before you plan to apply in order to avoid delays. |
