OzyMigrant: You can wait if that is what you feel strong about. But according to the auto-reply message they normally send, you should wait for at least six weeks before sending a reminder....yours is over 2 months already according to your earlier post.
PS; Front-loading doesn't necessarily translate to direct grant.....you can check expat forum and see for yourself. While frontloading does not translate to direct grant , however it reduces and in some cases eliminated CO contact thereby reducing Processing time either for a positive or negative outcome. Direct Grant is not guaranteed by anything until given by DIBP, however u can play your part well by submitting a decision ready application by FRONTLOADING |

ZoeW: Its been a real windy process. After 2 contacts from my CO to resend documents lost due to the site upgrade, I was told to pay $50 to convert my application to RPL last week as my degree has insufficient ICT content but I have sufficient experience. I just submitted this yesterday and my fingers are crossed. Upgrade saga.. it is affecting everyone. Sorry for the stress. It will all end well |

buzu84: Hello my able ACS folks....
I just got my ACS assessment feedback, it was positive but i didn't like the outcome.
My Bachelor's Degree was assessed as an AQF Associate Degree with major in Computing (N.B. I graduated from Babcock University), This caused them to deduct 5 years from my experience. Do i contact the CO..what are my chances it would be reviewed
Also one of my Career episodes was assessed as not suitable i guess it's the way i wrote the JD. Do i go for an appeal or review, sending another one?
Kindly advice..please your help would be appreciated. Unfortunately you can't change the classification on your Bachelor Degree as A.Q.F Associate, Your ICT content, course duration, university (Transcript ) is the core determinant for the classification. Except you have a new transcript and degree... 5 yrs will still be required for an associate degree. how many years did u submit in total... after the 5 years deduction, how many years do u have left for Exp points claim..... Will you be earning extra point if u get unsuitable career reviewed? |

trastar: So my ACS ppl, The Victorian Government nomination process is in no way connected to the Australian Computer Society's (ACS) assessment of work experience. YES So my question is, if they consider overall work experience, and you decide to enter date for overall work experience in your 190 EOI for victoria, knowing you can back up your claim, Would DIPB accept that? NO
Since you will be awarded points for overall work experience. This is a sole responsibility of DIBP only Abi when it's time to defend it, person go go call them from Victoria office to come and help talk to CO.? Lool. VIC deal with state nomination while ACS deals with Employment claims and Degree points. however, both are part of the PR visa 190 cycle. Victoria can and will only award you 5pt (190) 10pts (489) for state nomination only DIBP will refer to you "Skill Met Date" on your ACS assessment result to award you points for work exp, so when filling EOI this is what is required, EOI will not ask you what VIC thinks of your Years of experience. It will also help to note that ICT nomination for VIC is no longer as you have presented it... for FY 2017-2018 there was a significant change in approach. http://www.liveinvictoria.vic.gov.au/visas-and-immigrating/skilled-visas/skilled-nominated-visa-subclass-190#applyICT |

disectur: Hi guys, I'm doing PCC by Friday and going for medicals by next weekend. My wife will be 14 weeks pregnant by then. If I can lodge my 190 visa by 24th and front load all doc's, I'm hoping for direct grant in 4 - 6 weeks. My hope is that IOM can assist to book a ticket for 1st or 2nd week in October.
I don't want to get trapped in Naija due to my wife's prenancy. Does anyone know what the maximum weeks of pregnancy we can be allowed to fly with Emirates or Qatar?
Also how long does IOM take to get booked tickets? Emirates 28 weeks https://www.emirates.com/english/before-you-fly/health/before-you-leave.aspx |

teewhysafe: Brother, na 70 points and above got favored o. Majorly Accountants, Engineers and IT personnel.
Seems there is a heavy backlog cos they only cleared it till April. No May/June DOE with an invite yet
I stand to be corrected though. Yes you are on point. That seems to be the situation . 70 points cutoff. Hopefully we will have more information before the next round. however some users on immitracker claimed they got invited with may/jun/july DOE Its not funny oo. Since DIBP is yet to release the occupational ceilings. I am just thinking...!!! What Invitation changes Canada Cut off per round style for every occupation. this will mean no more pro-rata arrangement. what will the cut off marks? How will this affect applicants?
Also to those familiar with Canada express entry, what do u think?
Lets have a constructive discussion on this while we wait to hear from DIBP..

I heard dey dont require you to show proof of funds The best person(s) to answer that would be -The Hon Peter Dutton MP Minister for Immigration and Border Protection -Malcolm Turnbull Prime Minister of Australia on the proof of funds.. You can read for yourself on pages 0 to 3.... that way u confrim what you have heard Don't join the #GMPC |
