trastar: Hello all. Been following the thread closely and wondering if there's anyone who has gotten a their NSW nomination for ICT related profession recently? Submitted eoi since march. 65pts including ss points. 263111. This waiting na wa o. it appears NSW has not been inviting 263111 with points below 70 for a while now (according to immitracker though). I also submitted same in April but no word.. My advice is to try to boost your point to 65 pts for 189 in this new FY as the ceiling as invites will surely be rolling out as from July 12. |

bellong: I am sure of Monday to Friday. I don't know of Saturday. Usually administrative section of the police is not open to the public on weekends only the operational department. PCC issuance falls in the administrative duties which I believe will not be available on weekends. Don't take my words for the truth. You can rock up at alagbon to confirm Thanks. |

Help guys... The site is still unstable... What you are experiencing is similar to what every other person is facing... Same with me too The issue is over a week now but My advise... Wait till Monday and try again.. So that you don't end up submitting incomplete document or have some error in your application... I sent them a mail and they said it was gonna be resolved yesterday afternoon but apparently it wasn't. |

doyen06: Don't bother doing another assessment. Both business and system analyst are more competitive than developer programmer. I'll advice you gather more point for 189 or simply fill a seperate Eoi for and pick NSW as your preferred state, you might get state nomination. @elirab.. I couldn't agree more |

bellong: The instruction is a letter from the University that the degree was conducted in English.
I only presented a letter from the University and many other people did same. Those that their CO required English test are few and can be challenged by drawing the CO's attention to the instructions provided on their website.
However, for peace of mind of applicants, if they have enough resources for it, the spouse can write an English test. It is not a compulsion provided the spouse has evidence of study in English. Thanks Bellong, is it from a Nigerian university... Your testimony will save a lot of peeps a few bucks , myself inclusive |

sesal: I had a job between June 2008 and September 2012. ACS stated April 2010 for me. so what i did on EOI was to break that particular employment into 2. Up until March 2010 as not relevant while from April 2012 2010 as relevant. This was just to ensure the correct point is calculated for me and to avoid CO wahala. Hope this helps. Thanks sesal for the clarity. As you have mentioned , its better to avoid CO wahala or over claiming point as this can lead to refusal or BAN. ACS gave me " AFTER JULY 2012".......... that AFTER get as be, is it inclusive or excluded? |

HarryTellMe: Hello house I've gone through a bit of the pages of this thread and realized that help could finally come from here.
I'm interested in migrating to Australia before the end of this year but honestly have no idea of how to begin the process.
My profile: I'm in my late 20s Single Professional Diploma in Software Engineering (DNIIT) 9 years experience in Computer Repairs/Maintenance and 4 years experience in Network + CCTV installations & maintenance. Valid Intl Passport. 10+ years driving experience 9 O'level credits
Please I will sincerely appreciate every help I can get in making this a possibility this year. . You will need to do assessment with ACS. www.ACS.org.auIs it 9+ 4 yrs(13) experience or is the 4 included in 9 yrs. Do u have b.sc? |

akereconfi: Bros what do you mean by occupational ceiling can go up for ICT occupation, thereby bringing down the points required to 60pts. Please I'm really praying that it should return to 60 pts. Please can you explain Thanks Every year, there is a quota (Demand) for each occupation, and there are many applicants (Supply). If the Quota for your NOC gets increased for 2017-2018, then expect the points to drop to 60. but if its reduced or maintained, 65 or 70 will be the new baseline for invitation (PRO-RATA) We are praying it gets increased...........the race they say is not for the swift.......... cc elirab see attached ... ICT Bus and System Analyst are the most competitive, but it still boils down to ceiling figures released for July 7 days to go, but who is counting Pro Rata Occupationsthese are occupations where there are more EOIs lodged than can be accommodated in the occupational ceiling. For these occupations, the number of invitations issued in each round is limited so that the ceiling is not filled too quickly. As a result, the minimum points required for an invitation may be higher or the waiting time longer for an invitation.

elirab: Hello house. I'm 23 years old now and wouldn't be 25 till November 2018.
So as it stands now I have 60 points
IELTS - 20 AGE - 25 BSc - 15 Thanks i honestly see no reason for a regret here, Just because you're boxed into a corner doesn't mean its the end of the road. Please sir, be very hopeful, What occupation did u nominate? All ACS started with 60 last year..... lets see what July brings, hopefully occupational ceiling can go up for ICT occupation, thereby bringing down the points required to 60pts |

ZoeW: But it states if you have Non-ICT diploma or higher then you require 6 years and if you have no form of tertiary qualification then 8 years experience is required. Seen. My bad.. (skipped the B.SC).... post modified.... So basically RPL is just for her to write on two major projects that she has worked on in her current role. PM me so i can send you a sample of a submitted RPL. cc azy123 |

ZoeW: If you know anyone that is familiar with writing please hook us up so we can get some tips. She studied surverying and geoinfomatics engineering at unilag but works as an IT auditor/IT project quality assurance at one of the big four accounting firms for almost 7 years certifications: Oracle SQL expert, CISA from ISACA. Would RPL fly? cos skills assessment doesn't look like it would be favourable.
thanks Unfortunately her years of experience is not enough for an RPL approach, She will require 8yrs of experience in that role for a positive assessment, this is because her degree is not ICT related and she does not have certifications that ACS recognizes.
