khiaa:That’s fine. But you are ignorant. Now, that’s sad. |
khiaa:You’ve saw the reactions yet you asked a silly question. Do people react with disgust at their own culture and customs? You don’t have sense. You should travel out of your country to experience other cultures. Your ignorance is stifling. |
Ayotemide:You have an axe to grind with her? Take it easy. Op, yes, it is a big reason. But is it a VALID reason? On a side note, women STOP using sex as a tool for punishment. We both enjoy the pleasure. Konji dey catch you too but na lie, you must do shakara just because somebody offend you. So you won’t mind suffering the konji as long as he is suffering too. That’s witchcraft abeg. The day I heard a married man complain that his wife stopped having sex with him for weeks, I knew witches were real. She knew he would not cheat on her so she was confident to starve him. Nobody should try it with me o. I’m not a saint. I go fall for temptation o. ![]() |
Can a guy be happy if he doesn’t have money to enjoy life? These days, I think guys should focus more on themselves and make money before committing to serious relationships. All those vacations in Dubai, Paris and even some exotic locations in Naija are not cheap at all. Make money and flex your babe and make her feel good. Or date a babe who doesn’t care about such gifts and trips. Such babes are rare sha, that is, if they even exist at all. |
Legislators work as ministers in sane countries. In my country Nigeria, they will make sure they appoint fresh ministers from 36 states of the federation and pay them heavy allowances. UK is richer than we are, but they operate a cheap parliament. Members of the House of Commons work their butts off for their people. Nigeria una dey learn work. |
izzou:If that is what you can infer from all I have said, no problem. Good morning. |
izzou:Obasanjo was not the major candidate of the Yorubas. That’s public knowledge. He was the candidate of the North. Besides, the context for my statement was “unanimous support” or “block votes”. I was seeking to establish that we Yorubas don’t just endorse anyone and give them block votes. Every major contender has a chance here. What is middle belt these days by the way? They are North Central. And they don’t go about trying to guilt trip people into giving them the presidency on a platter, saying they are hated and have been cheated or whatever innuendo promoted by some prominent clannish South Easterners. |
highcollide:Every human has an element of greed in them. However in Nigeria, one would most likely associate the igbos with greed many times over, before mentioning any other ethnic group. They have often attributed such tendencies to their reputed business acumen. Please don’t turn back today to give the appellation to another group, just because the topic is not about success in business. That said, I must state clearly, that Yorubas do not give block votes to anyone. We believe in diversity and we embrace debate. Every election, the major candidates get divided votes in our region. This is healthy politics. Every election is a contest. The same cannot be said for the South East. They have always given block votes. They gave it to Obasanjo in 1999 and did again for him in 2003, even against the hopes and wishes of the Biafran Icon, Ojukwu. They did for Yar’Adua, Jonathan and Atiku. Politics is a game of numbers. And you cannot sit tight in your house and demonise your neighbours, and still expect them to support your candidacy. Exclusivity is an inhibitor in politics. Be appealing across the board. In 2015, Ngige had a chance to emerge as Senate President if and only if he won his constituency. I was in the South East during that period. The animosity towards him was stifling. A man whom his people once touted as a great Governor, was embarrassed at the polls only because he contested under a “Yoruba” party. This kind of reasoning is not going to get you the presidency. Another case in point is the demonisation of the Lagos-Calabar rail project. This proposal suffered setbacks in the Senate when PDP was in control of the house. The South east legislators joined the adversary mob and did not lend their support to a project that would benefit them and their close allies, the South South. Do not cut off your nose to spite your face. Last year, PDP stalwarts from the South East voted to zone the presidency to the North! The very thing you have been clamouring for, you gave away. I won’t reveal my thoughts on the reason behind that decision anyway. (Many people are sensitive on Nairaland and I am not prepared to engage in any online brawl today.) If you want to win the centre, then you must not be offensive to your neighbours. Nobody is out to get you. If your interests are appealing, you will win the support you crave. |
A black man posting “black face” jokes. That’s really low. If you shame your fellow African like this, please do not complain when whites do the same to you. Her skin might not be ideal for you, but that’s your fuckîng problem. Idîot. |
Protesting violently against the FG won’t work. The man is accused of terrorism and he has proven it time and again with the radical demonstrations of his followers. They are always moving wild. This is Boko 2.0 It is interesting that people who call Northerners nama and other derogatory names are at the forefront of this online campaign to free El Zakzaky. Why the sudden solidarity? It appears anyone who fights the FG is your friend. My friends, you know nothing. |
As long as they are not given FREE land for grazing and for their BUSINESS. Fine by me. Let every Nigerian livestock farmer lease or buy land for their livestock business. |
DameB:It’s entertainment. As long as she’s entertaining people, even intelligent ones will vote for her. BBN was not created for cerebral discourse. Try “the apprentice” for that kind of content. BBN is a popularity contest meant to celebrate the vanity of life. |
dairykidd:Best advice. OP should decide if sex is important to him or not. If it is, then break up. Simple. Her libido will never increase. Never. |
![]() Nna ehn. This shade is too heavy. |
Cioccolata:You insulted Seyi and thousands of people you don’t even know, in one breath. You are angry that he was brave enough to attempt something you could never do, even with Dutch courage. Cover your face in shame and pray to your ancestors for sense. |
Why didn’t you report the rape? He is going to rape other ladies now. |
I don’t know what I’d do when my Mother passes on. I don’t think anyone would be able console me. I can only imagine the pain. I don’t like Sen. Dino but this is not about ideology or politics. This is a moment of grief and humanity. I hope he finds comfort for his pain. |
KunAviero:It’s just a game. Try to suppress your inbred bigotry. Thanks. ![]() |
Arckeen: ![]() This is the funniest thing I’ve seen in a while! |
garfield1:Well said! Some people just argue without thinking. The defendants were clearly listed yet he just had to ask a silly question. |
Truthsbitter: Those girls are coming to face you. I no dey o. |
If only Iwobi could be consistent, he would grow to be a Legend. The guy has huge potentials. |
Truthsbitter:I don’t think I have met many Nigerian babes who would support their boyfriend through harsh times. Usually they are the cause of the harsh times themselves. I may be wrong. |
rosebowl01:I can see you have no qualms calling your father out. Is that how you treat your elders where you come from? You need home training. What you got was orientation from two animals living in penury. Now swerve from my mentions before thunder destroys your fragile destiny. Malu ![]() |
Are they expressly asking for marriage as a condition for the job? If yes, turn it down. If no, take the job and be an excellent employee. |
She is right in a way. A broke guy is not happy that he is broke. I’ve been there like many other guys. I tell you, it’s not the best feeling ever. Well, being broke is different from being poor or living in penury. “Broke” is a phase. Poverty is a condition; a stubborn condition. |
Joystark:The driver was not killed. Anyway, I really wonder how anyone can tell that said gunmen were Fulani herdsmen. I have no love for those herdsmen but it’s too convenient to label them herdsmen especially in these troubling times. |
Fulani herdsmen are a menace, no doubt. They have no regard for property boundaries and they should be made to ranch their cattle at their own cost. Free grazing is trespassing. Having said that, I can only wonder how the onlookers determined the ethnicity of the gunmen. People were shooting and you somehow knew they were fulanis? It doesn’t add up. Perhaps there is more to it. Any herd of cattle seen around the crime scene? How did anyone determine that they were fulanis and herdsmen too? Sometimes, we should not seek conspiracies. Not every story has a sinister hidden plot. Sometimes, a scenario is a simple as it appears. May God comfort the bereaved. |
Like she said, all she wanted to do was accuse him publicly. Finish. She doesn’t want to take him to court. Interesting times we live in. |
I can only imagine what Ihedioha (or even Fayose) would have done in his place. Fayemi is not a thug. He is a decent person and he has once again shown wisdom, compassion and class. |
blackslayer:Ok |
