geekybabe: Your symptoms are mild and you will get better soon. the antibiotics probably messed up your digestive system. Keep a track of what triggers the burning sensation. Is the sensation in the mid chest or in the tommy? Is it worse in the morning b4 meals or after you eat?
Cabbage water and plantain remedy may cause diarrhea as well, if not filtered and taken properly so be careful. Just ease out on the meds and watch your meals and your sleeping position to. Sleep on the left side with your head elevated.
You should feel better.. Keep well, and dont stress about it. Thanks dear. The sensation is in the tummy. I can really tell the difference after eating and before. I feel better now |

Thanks geekybabe for starting this post and keeping it alive. I found it last night and have read every word. Right now I just finished eating and my tummy(lower abdomen) is still burning. It all started two weeks ago after taking an antibiotic for cough I had diarrhea. It later stopped. Few days after finishing the med the diarrhea came back in full force. I have taken antacids, flagyl, worm med. I keep pooping undigested food, rumbling stomach, farting. The diarrhea is better from 4-5 times to 2twice now. No blood on the poop. But for 3 days I have burning sensation that refuses to go away. I started cabbage water and will add plantain remedy soon. Years back when I had this burning doctor gave me cimetidine. I was tempted to buy it but saw your post on it. I'm not bucks up for test or hospital now. I will work on the meal changes, was already doing something similar to lose weight since last month. I just need to get a fast respite,I need to study as i have an exam coming up but I just can't concentrate. What do you advise. |

drlateef: This guy should be very careful. I was shocked when he openly admitted sleeping with her while they were both drunk. How can he prove that her consent for sex was valid in that state of intoxication? If the whole imbroglio becomes a rape trial, I hope he would come out clean. Otherwise his whole life might be crumbling on him. Because he would lose his license to practice for life in UK. I share your opinion on this matter. I read where he said the girl asked him and he told her they had sex. That’s tricky. How do you prove that both of you were drunk. Fighting dirty on this matter is dangerous. Hope his lawyers are advising him right. |
Health › Re: Personal Experience With Covid-19 by Amhappy(f): 11:45am On Jul 03, 2020 |
pDudd: From personal experience, I have seen covid in it's earliest forms. Now I have an eye for detecting it almost accurately in its beginning stages.
At the beginning, when you come in contact with a covid patients who is symptomatic, they always try to hide it. Some signs and symptoms are mild, while some others are pronounced.
But one that always stands out is the COVID 19 COUGH. THAT IS A CLEAR SIGN. IT IS NOT A LOUD COUGH OR EVEN A SERIOUS COUGH, BUT IT IS A CONTINUOUS DISTURBING COUGH. I doesn't stop, it isn't even loud, but it is continuous. It's the kind of cough you have when you accidentally choke on your own spittle.
Most times the patient is scared of the stigma attached to covid so they try to hide the cough or just outright dent it or blame it on something else. But the cough is the telltale sign. When I send them for testing, I am usually not surprised when the result returns back positive. I just feel happy that now they can receive the care they need instead of being unsure and infecting others in the process. This is serious ooo I have this kind of cough. I also have blocked nose. It’s like 2 weeks now. I feel better after taking hot things and steaming. I hope it’s not Covid ooo. The cough is not continuous though except if I’m under fan. |

Graxie: Engineers are problem solvers. I saw one client looking for who will write a copy for him on building construction, he needed the copywriter to use construction terms. Please don't be confused, venzal told that we can start generally until you can carve your niche, besides you have Google and Amazon reviews. I must make it here, in fact, your Engineering background is a plus. Didn't you do GST, Engineering law? Statistics? Philosophy? Babe we will do well here. Wow I’m getting the drift thanks |

Meklex: "I don't like going to church very much".
"Hate" is a strong word/language and not politically correct.
A die-hard church fan might find me using, "I hate going to church" offensive. So always use politically correct words/sentences unless all your target audience hate going to church. Wow Nice. Thanks |
Business › Re: How To Build Enviable Income As An Email Copywriter In 2020.,, by Amhappy(f): 3:35pm On Jun 18, 2020 |
Meklex: Tact simply means skill and sensitivity in dealing with other people.
Do you know why you prefer a particular speaker more than the other? It's simply tact.
The popular "I have a dream" speech by Martin Luther is not famous because he is the first person who said what he said in that speech. It was famous because of his delivery. He had the skill and the sensitivity.
Same with Obama. Same with my old Parish Priest (I don't like going to church very much, but I can willingly stay extra time whenever this reverend father is preaching).
NOTE: I used tact in the sentence in the bracket. Can you point it out?
With tact, you can say anything you want to say and have people clap for you even if you are speaking against them.
So for you to write an email, you must first of all have the skill and sensitivity to understand who you are writing to, what tickles them and use it.
"The point is, as a producer, there are two things you take seriously: making awesome beats and getting them heard by the right people."
Of course, every producer takes the above seriously and that's you being sensitivity to their needs. Now skill comes in in how you use it, how you say/write it.
Now, I could say, "I know you love making awesome beats and getting the right people to hear them", it's engaging —but not enough.
Tact makes a copy awesome. It makes it lose blandness.
Sometimes I spend hours researching on the best way to say a line I want to use in an email. I normally do this for the first few paragraphs.
PS: There are many other lines in the email sample I gave earlier that employed tact in it's execution, you could point them out.
If you employ tact in your email copy, your clients will not only accept your work, they will also do this. ‘Willing stay’ is that the tact. |

AtoningBlood: This is where I have issues, an Engineer who is boasting of being a copy writer. Have you done any course/training to boast of delivering good sales copies?
Search for what you can do with your experience as an Engineer and sell that.
When I started, I told Venzal, see, I'm not going to write cos it's not my way, and he asked what experience I have, he even personally and without a cost sent me some videos to help me in my niche. I know a nairalander who is a surveyor making it big- I remember he said he thought of how to put his course of study to use when he wanted to start freelancing. Please consider your training/course and think of how to sell it.
I signed out to write here, am out before I sleep late.
Goodluck to all. I also have this problem. But I don’t know what niche I should go for as I don’t have any exceptional skills in my field. Credibility on writing for a Chemical Engineering as education, will clients be convinced? I need guidance. What other skills are needed that I can learn |
