I am a mother... I love my children, I provide a safe haven for them, I protect them, I am always their comfort, come rain or sunshine. AM I A MOTHER TO JUST MY CHILDREN? No, I didn't birth these other children but I am a mother! No, I can't love them all but I am a mother! However, I CAN PROTECT THEM ALL. I can be a GOOD ROLE MODEL, BE THE BEST TEACHER, THE BEST CHEF, THE BEST PREACHER, THE BEST DOCTOR, THE BEST ENGINEER, THE BEST NURSE, THE BEST BANKER, THE BEST ADMINISTRATOR, THE BEST HOUSE KEEPER, THE BEST TRADER, THE BEST SECURITY AGENT, THE BEST AT WHAT I DO, THINKING ABOUT ALL THE CHILDREN OF THE WORLD. THEN, I would have loved them all, Provided a safe haven for them all, And be their comfort, come rain or sunshine, BECAUSE I AM A MOTHER. Amopeekun. |
If she is not sick and does not show symptoms of any pregnancy related illnesses, she should be fine doing stuffs at home. It will help her body and mind be ready for delivery. It will help her o. Please get her some books/materials on pregnancy and explain how exercises can help her have a healthy baby and mother post birth. You may get a washing machine, and other things to ease her task and don't stop helping. She will be fine. |
In total support, my sister. E tire me bukatyne: |
Assalamu alykum. Firstly, Normally, weeping in a dream, as I have read, heralds goodness. But wailing, screaming, scratching and all that commotion is not good. To see a dead person happy, cheerful or in a good mood, etc, is also good. Meanwhile, in my reading, if the dead is not cheerful, is indifferent, or not in a good mood, please check yourselves who are his offsprings. Are there things that you do that are not good? You might want to change for good. Now, you say weeping profusely, put this with him being dead, I think you should mend your ways. Importantly, I think you should pray for the dead, put up something as sadaqa for him, and look within to correct some things that would make people cry profusely. Only Allah knows and unto Him is our final return. Assalamu alykum Disclaimer: Not my personal submission but from reading o. |
Hmm... |
Thanks millie |
In my place, it is called gbindin gbindin. It is a Yoruba name. I don't know how serious this is but importantly, STOP MAKING/PLAITING/BRAIDING/ MANIPULATING HER SCALP HENCEFORTH!! Pls stop. Her scalp is very tender and too soft. Cut her hair low until she is old enough to sit down by herself to make her hair. Occasionally, washing her hair with a very mild shampoo will do, otherwise, the regular bathing is enough.. Separate her combs and hair brushes from yours and disinfect them regularly with dettol. As it is, you either use amplicox Beecham for her or take her to the hospital. All the best. xavuv: |
U do well ![]() |

My sister, we have a lot of work to do o. Some of our men today are sooo cold and inconsiderate. We need to change that narrative. God help us. @OP, God will give u strength to further your studies and take up a good job to cater for your kids. Your parents' support is everything. Use this opportunity to get your life together. May God be with you. chival: |
Thank u sir and God bless u |
There is this woman who worked while the husband was in school and she had to take care of their three children and the husband's parents from her meager teacher salary. She actually suffered. The world would have termed her 'wicked' if she decided to leave her children to some charity and particularly the husband's parents to pursue her dreams, right? She would be this 'irresponsible woman ' who left her children cos she was 'selfish', right? She endured it all and now the husband has a second wife! This other uneducated woman was solely responsible for their children's upkeep, education, feeding and so on. There was no market day she didn't go to get stuffs to buy and sell for the wellbeing of her family. She is a beauty too. She suffered it all. But you know what? The husband got a second wife after he got a carpentry job from a samaritan who wanted him to have a good life with his family. Another woman I know suffered more. She went through a lot to push her husband up, to get a job, to refine him and so on. My sister, he didn't think twice to go marry a more succulent woman the moment money started rolling in. ...I can go on and on. Not fiction or gossips o, real life experiences I witnessed and still seeing around me. Some women may be this lazy as you described but more are hardworking and are supporting their families everyday. More are breadwinners and I know some. Kai, my own mum did a lot for us. You know what, some of our men are just forgetful and inconsiderate. They don't appreciate their women, the mothers of their children and it is all about their egos and pride. So, this generalizing is kinda off, for me. Women are super beings, strong , supportive and kind. We should support ourselves. Good day ma'am. |
Back in the day when I was unworried Unworried when love cometh Cometh to steal my heart Heart so naive but too pure Too pure to understand its dangers Dangers of pain and worries Worries that want me to go back in the day |
I will also make it fa. Kai, the thing no easy at all |
My brother, that our road na total eyesore. Is there any other means we can shout this to the government? Let them help us o. We are suffering. Kingbenn: |

I actually just saw this and i am extremely happy to be a part of this family. There isn't anything to add to all the wonderful 'gifts' up there but to pray to God to bless everyone for their hearts. Jennifer dear, please continue to hold on. A few more years from now, you will actually look back and smile. Love you sis. It is good here! |
Abeg ooo, which parastatal in kwara has not been paid? Who in kwara never receive salary? Pls enlighten us o. For as far as I know, salaries of August were even paid on the 24th or thereabout. All the about 2000 workers that the former governor Abdulfattah recruited have all been paid till date. Na September salary we dey wait for now. So, pray, tell us, who has not been paid in kwara? vastolord4: |
Photoshopped or not, this is very common in our communities. A wicked few, who are obvious enemies of the people, being celebrated because they have money and power to twist everything, anything, anyone to satisfy their hunger for more, and are known by their kinsmen...! and we say we are where we are! Governments go and come. What about the people? Nigeria is just a landscape Sha...what do I know self? |
Alhamdulillah, may Allah bless the writer of the above, amin. But you spoilt everything by writing ''mistakes found in Lagos, Ogun and some other States in Nigeria". These and more( eg. faster than the imam in observing steps of salat, some trying to take up the whole space during congregation, keeping space for people at the front rows, running into the masjid during congregation, etc) are common mistakes you will find anywhere you go. I am sorry if u find my submission somehow but limiting these to some states makes it look like other people in some states are perfect in their prayers. P.S I have learnt and I have travelled and I have seen things. Pls correct the particular paragraph. Assalamu alykum Wa rahmatullah Wa barakatuhu |
May his soul rest in peace |
[Sorry sir fa but OP is not confessing anything neither is he remorseful. He said he is hurt and needs advice. Chai!!! May God keep your wife safe and healthy wherever she is. May the good Lord comfort her and blees her. quote author=olulove post=78202525]Feel sorry for the wife though, poor woman! OP has actually confessed his shortcomings, I feel he needs a second and last chance.. He needs to thread cautiously now, considering the fact that every one suspect there's an ongoing affair between him nd his wife's friend. Affairs are fantasy of our imagination, he needs to clear off whatever emotion or pleasure he got from the affair i it his head/mind and channels same to his wife and family. OP may God help and guide you.[/quote] |
