Florblu:Could we just focus on the question asked in my original post. I’m only asking for recommendations...not for someone who doesn’t know me or if I’m asking for myself or anyone else to give any sort of marriage counsel. I’d appreciate recommendations for a good family lawyer. Thank you |
Hi guys, Can anyone recommend a good family lawyer in Abuja or Lagos. Looking forward to all your recommendations. Thanks in Advance |
MY GOODNESS!!! I am in shock right now!!! I am so scared for my kids. |
Siena, i can never be more grateful. Errrrrr , what's that his name again, sean wetin call, have you i also do not live on my credit card !!! I bet you do, so you get ready to be in debt till you wisen up okay. I'll tell you once more- I am a ''FULL BLOODED'' Nigerian, i live in London, i have a good job, I have never experienced what you are talking about. So you get your facts straight before displaying such a high level of ignorance. ![]() |
I scold my 5yr old boy when he gets naughty, sometimes,it is accompanied by a smack .I rarely use words such as idiot, mumu etc.The dat i mistakenly said to him ''don't be stupid''. he replied 'mom dont use that word.It is bad and i'll tell daddy''. I felt ashamed of myself and to apologise. |
This is such an interesting thread. ![]() My mom used to say, If i catch you there your eyes will see your ears. By the time i'm done with you, you'll ask if i'm your mother. did you not suck breast? Why do you behave as if i never breast fed you? bunmii:THis one from bunmi made me laugh till i cried. I can imagine her dad knocking her head to confirm if there's a brain in it. ![]() Another one my mom used to say THose people that came first second and third do they have two heads? or are they from jupiter? |
Do you mean outspoken or rude?? For females, i'll go with D-reloaded ![]() Males, 4Him is it. ![]() |
What is this poster talking about? someone pls tell me. I live in the UK and i do not know what you are saying!!!!!!!! I have a good job, just got it 2months back, and my husband has a very very very very, good job. I am a Nigerian and so is he. So what's this post about. ![]() |
If you do not know 5% og ghanaians then my dear, too bad. I have come in contact with lots o' them. Some even say it to my face!!! No one can tell me otherwise. I have seen graffitti on the wall saying terrible things against Nigerians. There is a particular newpaper that never has anything good to say about nigeria and nigerians.I'll tell you when i remember the name. Go to ghana web and see things for your self. I'm so sorry but that is the plain stark truth. It is unexplained hatred and maybe envy. i lived in accra as i have done in other countries and i know what i am So my brother,i do not have any thing against the people of ghana, but i know alot of them have things against nigerians. Even the nanny i employed for my baby was making silly comments. i fired her as soon as i got wind of it. And to think this was someone i hired to take care of my baby? I had a good relationship with the driver, mr.kwame addo. I still call him from here,we remain good friends. for the nigerian high commisioner to speak of it on air, then it's not an illusion,it is real.Once again,my 2 cents. Have a gr8 wkend you all |
I know that 85% of Ghanaians hate Nigerians.I have seen it myself, in different forms. One has actually said ' you know i do not like your country people''. THey are simply jealous. They always say we show off alot, are a loud lot at alot of other rubbish. No one can convince me otherwise.Alot of Ghanaians dislike nigerians for no just cause. Most are probably jealous. My 2 cents. |
@ Gentle dove, Did you die in the accident ? How come it was fatal?? Anyway, good know you are okay. Take care of you. |
Really?? so we should hang ourselves? ![]() |
Yes!!!!! I kind of liked the guy, but my husband was already on the scene. There was nothing intimate, but we just liked each others company. Attended his wedding three months back. He told me he'd have wanted to marry me, It was too late. |
Siena ''congrats'' on your new 'appointment'. ![]() So how much is the pay? ![]() |
Yep!!!!! Been to Malaga. Had a GREATTTTTTTTTTTT time. whenever i remember that trip, i give my husband a peck. Nice people, met alot of Nigerians. Safe trip. |
HEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Almondjoy!!!!! When last did you visit those relatives of yours? I would rather hop on a bus that drive sometimes you know. Most of the guys here have got cars, but the transport system is organised in such a way that you can get by really well without a car. Even my husband gets on the train to work sometimes. There are lots of people who you see with ''Tesco'' and ''Costco'' bags here that have got nice cars. I know a lady(Nigerian) who has a 4wheel drive but would rather take the tram. Like Otele said, London is a leveler. You really do not know who is who till you really get to know them. You may see me hop on the bus with my baby in her buggy and think i'm just any kind o'person. But just stalk me to my house, and you'll be ''amazed'' at what you'd find out about me. ![]() It's all about what one wants. |
![]() I was not fooled so easily this time. I knew it was an April fool joke. ![]() |
@ topic It's a stale topic, but nonetheless, this is my take, It's either your period is on its way, or you are either ovulating, or your are pregnant. I experienced nipple pain in both pregnancies. |
@ almondjoy i beg to disagree my dear. I live here, i am neither poor nor pauverty striken. I live in a big house too, got my own parking and all that. I do not know how ''US Nairalanders look or sound better '' than their British counterparts. Loads of people go on vacation here too if you ask me. I do alot of that myself between july and september each year. I really do not know what you mean by all that you have ''said'' here. @ topic I think it's a matter of what one thinks is important to him/her. For me, the UK is okay. The only problem i have is the high rate of immorality, which i know abounds even in the United States. For me, If your place of abode does you justice, nice. I have been to the US(Los Angeles) once, and it honestly did not make much of a difference to me. I think it's different strokes for different folks. |
Almond has said it all. On a sympathetic note, i wish his family well, and i hope they are strong enough to bear this loss. ![]() |
May i ask what the point of this thread is ? ![]() |
I weep for Nigeria. The government cannot update air traffic control facilities, but they can award contracts worth bilions of naira to black listed companies. O!!!!! NIGERIA. By the day,my chances of going back there become more bleak. ![]() GSM phones to contact control towers May the GOOD LORD help us. |
I'd advice you work hard at your grammar. It's a huge embarassment. @ topic You have stated the obvious. What other answer do you seek? ![]() |
I can NEVER die for any country, ESPECIALLY NIgeria. If i cannot do it for England, then i'll never do it for Nigeria. I just hope and pray that Nigeria becomes what it should be, then the question of dying may be considered, not before. It's a hopeless situation. |
